Abstract

Jrahi Village is one of the villages in Gunung Wungkal District, Pati Regency. This village is known as one of the villages that has a lot of local wisdom and nature conservation. One of them is that in Jrahi village there is a tradition that is still embedded in the lives of its people, namely the dawuhan tradition. This tradition is carried out after the rice planting season during the rainy season, namely in February. The place is at the foot of the mountain. The aim of this research is to provide an overview of the profile of Jrahi village as well as an overview of local wisdom in the form of the dawuhan tradition in Jrahi village which is a form of nature conservation in the village. The method used in this research is field research. Data collection in this research was carried out in three ways, namely interviews, observation and literature study. The results of this research show that the dawuhan tradition provides benefits for the village because this tradition aims to ensure that the water sources in this village continue to flow quite well when the rainy season arrives.

Abstract

A strategy is needed to develop an educational tourism village in Kajar Village to increase visitors and community interest, preserve and maintain the potential of tourist attractions, and support empowerment strategies. The objectives of this research are: 1) identify educational tourism activities in Kajar Village. 2) Describe the internal and external factors that influence the development of an education-based tourism village in Kajar Village. 3) To find out strategies for developing an education-based tourism village in Kajar Village. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach. This research was carried out in Kajar Pine Park (Pijar), located in Kajar Village, Dawe District, Kudus Regency. Data was obtained by conducting interviews, direct observation, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques involve data collection, reduction, presentation, and then concluding. The results of the research explain that the strategy for developing educational tourism in Kajar Village includes collaborating with various communities and with the local government to develop tourism through APBDes assistance, developing potential education-based tourist attractions, and increasing educational experts.

Abstract

Laboratorium IPS sebagai salah satu prasaranapenunjang proses pembelajaran IPS disekolah, hal ini terlihat dari munculnya laboratorium IPS di beberapa daerah. Fenomena tersebut belum didapati di MTS Negeri se- kecamatan Pati.  Pemenitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui kendala yang dialami oleh sekolah dalam penyediaan Laboratorium IPS di MTs Negeri di Kabupaten Pati. Guna mencapai tujuan tersebut peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan bentuk deskripsi, yakni menyajikan secara sistematis, faktual, dan akurat serta menyajikan kejadian apa adanya di lapangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kendala yang dihadapi dalam penyediaan laboratoriun IPS di Mts Negeri di Kabupaten Pati diantaranya yaitu: Kebijakan standar sarana prasarana pendidikan, skala prioritas kebutuhan sarana prasarana sekolahan, keterbatasan lahan dan peralihan menjadi Boarding School. Adapun upaya dalam mengatasi ketersediaan Labortorium IPS di MTs Negeri di Kabupaaten Pati yaitu: memanfaatkan alam dan praktik sosial sebagai sarana Laboratorium Out Door, dan menggunakan museum sebagai sumber belajar.

Abstract

Keberadaan laboratorium memegang peranan penting dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran. Dengan adanya laboratorium IPS peserta didik secara langsung melakukan praktek dan diskusi dari teori yang telah didapatkan selama pembelajaran. Sehingga pembelajaran yang berdasar pada pengalaman peserta didik akan terasa lebih menarik dan efektif. Namun, pada kenyataannya kehadiran laboratorium IPS di Tingkat SMP/MTs masih sulit ditemui. Adanya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis kebutuhan dan kendala penyediaan Laboratorium IPS di MTs Kabupaten Jepara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun lokasi penelitian berada di MTsN  1 Jepara, MTs Al Isro’, dan MTs Miftahul Huda Kecamatan Batealit Kabupaten Jepara. Sementara data didapatkan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kebutuhan MTs di Kabupaten Jepara dalam penyediaan Laboratorium IPS berupa perbaikan ruangan serta kebutuhan alat peraga. Sedangkan kendala-kendala yang dialami sekolah dalam penyediaan Laboratorium IPS ini beragam. Kendala-kendala tersebut meliputi terbatasnya finansial, skala prioritas kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana, terbatasnya ruang, serta terbatasnya SDM.

Abstract

Laboratorium IPS merupakan salah satu prasarana penunjang dalam proses pembelajaran IPS dan kini di sekolah sudah semakin berkembang, hal ini terlihat mulai dari munculnya laboratorium IPS dibeberapa daerah. Namun sayangnya fenomena tersebut belum didapati di MTs Negeri Kabupaten Kudus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kendala-kendala sekolah dalam pengadaan laboratorium IPS di MTs Negeri di Kabupaten Kudus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MTs Negeri Kabupaten Kudus tepatnya pada MTs Negeri 1 Kudus dan MTs Negeri 2 Kudus. Data yang dikumpulkan yaitu berupa data kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yakni guru IPS di MTs Negeri 1 Kudus dan MTs Negeri 2 Kudus. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif Miles dan Huberman dengan langkah-langkah yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: kendala sekolah dalam penyediaan laboratorium IPS dapat diklasifikasikan menjadi dua yaitu kendala eksternal dan kendala internal. Berdasarkan penelitian kendala-kendala tersebut, antara lain kebijakan standar sarana prasaran pendidikan, skala prioritas sarana prasarana sekolah, kurangnya dana dan kurangnya lahan.

Abstract

This This community service activity aims to optimize the utilization of local wisdom at Pasar Sarwono in Wonosoco Village, Kudus, as a Social Studies (IPS) learning laboratory for university students through socialization and educational programs. The method used is a community service approach with descriptive qualitative techniques, including Focus Group Discussions (FGD), literature review, and field observations. The results show that Pasar Sarwono holds great potential in strengthening contextual learning through direct practice, such as social interaction, a traditional economic system using wooden coins, the use of traditional Javanese clothing (lurik), and the preservation of local culture such as Wayang Klitik performances. Educational strategies were implemented through socialization with the community and village stakeholders, student field visits, and academic reflection. However, the program faced several challenges, including limited community awareness of the educational value of local culture, insufficient human resources among educators, and geographic and administrative constraints. These findings underscore the importance of integrating higher education with local communities to foster students’ social character and preserve cultural heritage. Ethnopedagogy and constructivism serve as the theoretical foundations in developing contextual and relevant Social Studies education in the era of globalization. It can be concluded that this traditional market functions not only as a center of economic activity but also as an educational space rich in local cultural values, such as the use of wooden coins, traditional lurik attire, and traditional culinary offerings.
