Abstract

Selain kompetensi utama yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa sesuai jurusannya, perlu juga kompetensi tambahan yaitu tentang bisnis teknologi di era digital, yang populer saat ini adalah ad breaks. Ad Breaks merupakan salah satu fitur untuk memonitisasi akun facebook yang dapat menghasilkan uang bagi pengguna dengan menayangkan jeda iklan komersil di sela-sela video. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang software camtasia, ad break, dan fanpage facebook setelah pelatihan dan memberikan pengetahuan kepada siswa tentang cara pembuatan konten video dengan software camtasia dan fanpage facebook. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah siswa-siswi SMKN 1 Landung Sari bisa membuat video konten dengan Software Camtasia dan mampu mengunggahnya ke Fanpage Facebook dan siswa-siswi memilki semangat yang tinggi untuk mengeksplorasi kemampuan mereka terkait aplikasi Software Camtasia dan media Fanpage Facebook.

Abstract

The purpose of developing illustrated vocabulary animation game media for kindergarten – A students at Pelita Kasih Lawang Kindergarten is that early childhood can concentrate and understand the content of the material so that they are able to repeat simple words with correct pronunciation. Early childhood is also expected to be able to repeat words that have been listened to friends and teachers. Researchers compiled an animated vocabulary game media developer pictured in learning English, by making a Research and Development (R&D) development research design, which is research used to produce certain products, and test the validity of these products. This Research and Development procedure is an adaptation of Sugiono's theory (2011 : 297), namely : 1) Potential and Problems, 2) Data Collection, 3) Product Design, 4) Design Validation, 5) Usage Trial, 6) Product Revision, 7) Product Trial, 8) Design Revision. Product Trial, 8) Design Revision. The data analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative analysis in the form of percentages. The results of this research and development obtained are : 94.44% of the learning expert validation results, 96.15% of the media expert validation results, 91.11% of the small group trial results, and 95.68% of the field trial results. Based on these results, the development of animated media in language learning is classified as feasible to use. Based on the validation results, observations on small group trials and field trials, it can be concluded that the development of animated media in language learning is very interesting, fun, and easy to use. It is hoped that the results of the development of animated media in language learning can be developed even better, more effective, and right on target. So that it can be utilized according to the needs and achieve the goals of early childhood language learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of students to open learning in the English Education Study Program, sixth semester in the subject of basic teaching skills. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with an observation sheet instrument and an assessment rubric, from the results of this study it can be obtained data on opening skills as follows: Motivation Indicators & Attracting Students' Attention = Less Score: 0%, sufficient: 6%, good : 61% and excellent: 33%. Indicators provide a reference: Poor score: 35%, adequate: 37%, good: 28% and very good: 0%. And the indicators make the connection: Poor score: 0%, adequate: 50%, good: 41% and very good: 9%. In the second practice after the evaluation, the scores were obtained as follows: Motivation Indicator & Attracting Student Attention = Poor Score: 0%, adequate: 0%, good: 50% and very good: 50%. Indicators provide a reference: Poor score: 0%, adequate: 28%, good: 39% and very good: 33%. And indicators make the connection: Poor score: 0%, adequate: 0%, good: 61% and very good: 39%. From these results it can be concluded that the ability to open lessons in semester 6 students of the 2021/2022 academic year is good.

Abstract

Linguistics is the science of language that develops from time to time. The development of linguistics has an important role in teaching English. Students are expected to be aware of these developments and have knowledge of languages so that they are able to find or apply suitable methods in teaching English when they become teachers later.

Abstract

Some students have difficulty in speaking English, and this happens because of various problems. One ofthe problems is vocabulary and pronunciation. Based on theproblems stated, this study aims to explain the use ofthe Powtoon application as one of the learning resources needed by students.Powtoonis one of alternativeapplication learning speaking for students now days. Powtoon application can improve student’s speaking abilitybecause Powtoon application is a cartoon learning video that very interesting.
