Abstract

Science literacy is a very important skill for students, especially in today's information age, where understanding scientific concepts can affect decision-making in daily life. However, the results of the PISA survey show that science literacy in Indonesia is still relatively low, so a new approach is needed in science learning at the elementary school level. This research aims to develop the Diosir media (water cycle diorama) as a learning tool that can improve the science literacy of grade V elementary school students. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the study showed that the Water Circle Diorama media developed was declared very valid with a percentage of 100% of media experts, 95% of material experts, and 93% of question experts. The practicality of the media was also stated to be very practical with a percentage of 91% of educators and 94% of students. In addition, the classroom trial showed the effectiveness of the media in improving student understanding, with an average pretest score of 69.35 and a posttest score of 94.64, so the increase obtained was 82.06%. In conclusion, the use of water cycle diorama media has been proven to be valid, practical, and effective in improving students' science literacy, as well as being able to increase student involvement in the learning process.

Abstract

Kita Madu business in Binjai is a business that sells pure honey. This activity process aims to help Kita Madu's business in increasing honey sales. Honey sales are carried out not only by selling directly, but also using online sales, namely social media. By utilizing existing social media, you can promote and see consumer enthusiasm for the products being sold. In promoting products, business owners can create their own advertisements by making videos about how to consume honey and providing articles about the benefits of honey for the body. Sales using social media can assess customer satisfaction with testimonials sent by consumers. Based on the results of observations in a month using social media, sales of Kita Madu have increased, because we also have a large number of followers on social media, making it easier to promote Kita Madu.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik di Indonesia melatar belakangi dilakukannya kajian pustaka ini terkhusus di UPT SPF SDN 104205 Medan Tembung. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian pustaka yang disusun dengan menggunakan kajian literatur dan melakukan observasi dan wawancara sebagai instrumen pengumpulan datanya. Permasalahan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik di UPT SPF SDN 104205 Medan Tembung. Hasil dari kajian pustaka adalah literasi matematika siswa di UPT SPF SDN 104205 Medan Tembung sangatlah rendah dikarenakan kurangnya akses untuk menunjang berjalannya pembelajaran menggunakan media digital. Yang seharusnya terjadi, pendidik harus dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik dengan mengintegrasikan media pembelajaran online ke dalam pembelajaran menggunakan komputer, laptop atau smartphone. Kreativitas dan penguasaan aplikasi teknologi pendidik dalam inovasi pembelajaran sangat dibutuhkan disini untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran yang selanjutnya akan meningkatkan mutu peserta didik. Kesimpulan dari kajian pustaka ini adalah kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik di era revolusi industri 5.0 dapat ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Making liquid organic fertilizer, especially from cocoa shells with the addition of bio activator EM4 (Effective Microorganisms) aims to determine the effect of fermentation time on the content of Nitrogen (N) and Phosphorus (P) in liquid organic fertilizer, as well as determining the effect of bio activator EM4 content on N and P The method for making this liquid organic fertilizer is that cocoa shell waste is crushed before fermentation. Then the bio activator EM4 is prepared for addition to cocoa shell waste which has been reduced in size. Cocoa waste is put into a 500 ml beaker, the EM4 bio activator solution is then evenly put into the beaker. Sampling was carried out based on variations in fermentation time (6 days, 12 days, 18 days and 24 days) as well as variations in the addition of 5 ml and 10 ml of EM4 bio activator. The research results showed that the best N and P levels were obtained on the 18th day of fermentation with a volume of 10 ml of EM4 bioactivator, for a nitrogen content of 1.4% and a phosphorus content of 0.35%. Abstract

Edible film merupakan biopolimer yaitu polimer dari hasil pertanian yang digunakan sebagai bahan baku kemasan film tanpa dicampur dengan polimer sintetik (plastik) sehingga ramah lingkungan. Penggunaan edible film untuk kemasan produk pangan seperti sosis, buah dan sayuran bertujuan untuk memperlambat penurunan kualitas, karena edible film dapat berfungsi sebagai penghambat difusi gas oksigen dan karbondioksida, mencegah hilangnya kelembaban pada produk , mengontrol perpindahan padatan terlarut, sebagai Pengawet dan penguat rasa yang meningkatkan kualitas bahan makanan. Untuk membuat edible film dari pati batang kelapa sawit digunakan sorbitol. Sorbitol berfungsi sebagai plasticizer sehingga dapat meningkatkan elastisitas bahan, kekuatan tarik, kemuluran, ketebalan, dan mempengaruhi biodegradabilitas film. Variasi volume sorbital adalah 13,33; 15,99; 19.99; 26,66; 33,33 % (v/b). Hasil penambahan sorbitol pada pembuatan edible film dari batang kelapa sawit menghasilkan kuat tarik tertinggi sebesar 37,4375 Kgf/cm2 dan kuat tarik terendah sebesar 10,4736 Kgf/cm2. Rendemen WVTR edible film dari pati batang kelapa sawit adalah 0,9829. Hasil analisis SEM menunjukkan bahwa edible film dari pati batang kelapa sawit memiliki permukaan yang lebih halus, sedangkan edible film dari pati batang kelapa sawit memiliki permukaan yang kasar atau tidak homogen.

Abstract

Empowering housewives as members of society and still being classified as productive workers is very important, aimed at increasing awareness and independence in business, as well as expanding employment opportunities to increase family income in an effort to achieve a happy and prosperous family. In this regard, this can be done through various alternative activities, including training in making liquid detergent. Soap is a commodity that cannot be separated from household needs. It can be said that part of the routine expenses for housewives each month is allocated to purchasing washing soap. The methods used in this community service activity are socialization, discussion and practice or demonstration regarding raw materials, work procedures and calculation of production costs for making liquid detergent. The training participants are members of the Sumber Rezeki Cooperative in Sumber Mulyo Rejo Village with a total of 20 training participants. This activity was carried out in Sumber Mulyo Rejo Village, Binjai City on February 24 2024. The evaluation plan for service activities is that the target number of training participants is achieved, the training objectives are achieved well, the planned material targets are achieved and the participants are able to understand the training material. The result of this training activity in making liquid detergent is that members of the Sumber Rezeki cooperative in Binjai city have knowledge of making liquid detergent and provide innovation to improve the economy.

Abstract

Abstrak ini membahas penerapan metode bermain aktif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik siswa kelas 5 di MIS Hidayatullah Batang Kuis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana metode bermain aktif dapat digunakan sebagai pendekatan yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik anak usia sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan melibatkan siswa kelas 5 sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi terhadap partisipasi siswa dalam aktivitas bermain aktif selama periode tertentu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode bermain aktif secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar dan halus siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya integrasi metode bermain aktif dalam kurikulum untuk mendukung perkembangan motorik siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar
