Abstract

TPACK-based learning tool preparation training activity was carried out with the aim of improving teacher professionalism, especially related to making digital media-based learning instruments. This training activity is intended for teachers of Al Aziziyah madrasah teachers, Kapek, Gunungsari, West Lombok. The implementation of activities has been held at Al Aziziyah Islamic Boarding School which is presented in a workshop approach through lectures, discussions, and questions and answers. The presentation includes: Principles of the Independent Curriculum Principles and TPACK, Learning Model Models that Support the Independent Curriculum, Utilization of Learning Media, TPACK with Canva, Simulation , Video and Learning Assessment with Canva. The high motivation and enthusiasm of the participants were seen during the implementation of the service activities, in addition to the positive response of the participants with an enthusiasm level of 90% seen during the implementation of this community service. The very high level of teacher satisfaction with this activity certainly provides very good results in addition to the very high expectations of the teachers for further activities

Abstract

Peserta didik menganggap bahwa matematika adalah mata pelajaran yang sulit dan membosankan, sehingga hal tersebut berdampak pada hasil belajar yang masih tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas LKPD berbasis budaya lokal dalam materi himpunan kelas VII di SMPN 9 Mataram tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan 4D Models yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan. Pada penelitian ini menerapkan 3 tahapan untuk melakukan penelitian yaitu pendefinisian (define), perancangan(design), pengembangan(develop). Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII-E di SMPN 9 Mataram sebanyak 25 orang. Didapatkan skor rata-rata hasil validasi oleh ahli materi dan validasi oleh ahli media mendapatkan skor 0,87 dengan kriteria sangat valid. Hasil rata-rata penilaian respon peserta didik dan guru mendapatkan rata-rata sebesar 95% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba terbatas yang dilakukan terhadap 25 peserta didik kelas VII E di SMPN 9 Mataram, diketahui bahwa hasil tes peserta didik lebih dari 75% mendapatkan nilai diatas ketuntasan klasikal minimum yaitu sebesar 84%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, analisis data dan pembahasan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media LKPD berbasis budaya lokal efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Dilihat dari ketuntasan nilai peserta didik yang telah mengikuti post-test. Terdapat 84% dari peserta didik yang mengikuti tes mendapatkan nilai tuntas. Sehingga dapat dikatakan media yang dikembangkan efektif untuk digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Keinginan pemerintah menjadikan sekolah di Indonesia sebagai sekolah siswa yang siswanya mampu berpikir kritis seperti tercantum dalam Permendikbub Nomor 5 tahun 2022 pada kenyataannya belum tercapai. Salah satunya yaitu di sekolah SMPN 23 Mataram. Hal tersebut didasarkan pada hasil wawancara dengan guru Matematika beserta hasil observasi pemberian soal tes kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan rata-rata berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan PBL dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran langsung. Juga unutk mengetahui pengaruh PBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII SMPN 23 Mataram. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 23 Mataram. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan lembar observasi kegiatan siswa dan guru. Analisis data yang digunakan berupa uji normalitas menggunakan uji Liliefors, uji homogenitas menggunakan uji Fisher dan uji t dengan Independent sample t-test. Hasil analisis data dengan uji t menunjukkan nilai . Hasil tersebut dipengaruhi oleh pelaksanaan tahap pembelajaran dengan model PBL yang belum maksimal dilaksanakan oleh siswa. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis yang sudah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas control.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi dan kendala–kendala guru dalam mengembangkan mutu pembelajaran matematika berbasis kultur daerah di SMP Negeri 2 Wawo. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengambilan sumber data menggunakan dokumentasi dan wawancara. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 2 orang yaitu yaitu guru matematika kelas VIII A dan kelas VIII B. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan alat penilaian perangkat pembelajaran dan pedoman wawancara. Teknis analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1). Strategi guru dalam mengembangkan mutu pembelajaran matematika berbasis kultur daerah adalah dengan memasukan unsur daerah yang ada di sekitar lingkungan bermain peserta didik dalam perangkat pembelajaran seperti Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), media pembelajaran dan bahan ajar. Unsur-unsur yang dimasukan adalah sarung tenun khas tembe nggoli dan bentuk bangunan kesultanan asi mbojo. 2). Kendala guru dalam proses pengembangan mutu pembelajaran matematika berbasis budaya daerah adalah adanya egosentrisme peserta didik dalam mengupaya budaya mereka sendiri yang dimasukan dalam perangkat pembelajaran sehingga hasrat peserta didik tergantung pada unsur budaya desa mana yang dimasukan.

Abstract

Mathematics is an essential subject, but some students face difficulties in learning due to the lack of engaging and innovative learning resources. However, using PowToon-based learning media in videos can be an effective alternative for distance education. This study aimed to develop PowToon-based mathematics learning media that would be valid, practical, and effective for the eighth-grade Cartesian coordinate material at SMP Negeri 13 Mataram, using the 4D research method (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination). The research resulted in an MP4 video about Cartesian Coordinate material that received a validity score of 0.82, which was considered highly valid by four validators. The product is also considered practical, with an 84.6% practicality score based on the responses of 24 students who used it for the Cartesian coordinate material. The media has proven highly effective, with a student completion rate of 83.33% during the test trial. Furthermore, the learning media is disseminated through YouTube for easy student access. Thus, PowToon-based learning media can be considered valid, practical, and effective for mathematics education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of tendency and causes of students’ errors in solving mathematic story problems. Error analysis was carried out based on the Polya's procedure reviewed from the students' learning styles. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and consideration from the mathematics teacher so that class VII H of SMP Negeri 13 Mataram was obtained as the research subject. The sample used was 29 students. Data collection techniques using learning style questionnaires, test questions, and interviews. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of data analysis obtained from test results and interviews, it can be concluded that, students of visual learning styles tend to make mistakes at the plans implementing stage with an error rate of 63% including in the high category and the recheck stage with an error rate of 86% including in the very high category. Students of auditorial learning styles tend to make mistakes at the recheck stage with an error rate of 58% including in the medium category. Students of kinesthetic learning styles tend to make mistakes at the recheck stage with an error rate of 44% including in the low category. The causes of these errors are because 1) students are less to understand the problem, 2) less careful in doing calculations, 3) not used to writing conclusions because students used the results from the previous stage as conclusions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika soal cerita pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 11 Mataram. Dengan penelitian quasi experimental dan pendekatan kuantitatif, tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika hanya diberikan setelah pembelajaran atau desain posttest only control design. Menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, dan tes uraian, pembelajaran diberikan pada satu kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol. Melalui Analisis deskriptif dan uji-t dua sampel independen, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru kelas eksperimen sebesar 96,15%, aktivitas siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 90,15%, aktivitas guru kelas kontrol sebesar 94,74%, aktivitas siswa kelas kontrol sebesar 87,75%, rata-rata skor posttest kelas eksperimen sebesar 85,14, dan rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar 78,86. Uji independen sampel t-tes menujukkan signifikansi (2-tailed) 0,21 < 0,05. Kesimpulan penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika soal cerita siswa kelas VIII SMPN 11 Mataram.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika soal cerita pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 11 Mataram. Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of the exploration, elaboration and confirmation (EEK) model in learning straight line equations on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Jonggat in the 2023/2024 academic year. This Quasi Experimental Research was designed using a post-test only non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all class VIII students at SMPN 1 Jonggat for the 2023/2024 academic year. Two classes were chosen as samples, namely class VIII B as the experimental class and class VIII A as the control class. The instruments used in this research were student learning outcomes tests (post-test), RPP, LKPD and observation sheets. The analysis technique used is parametric statistics with the result t_count = 5.93 > t_(table ) = 2.00 which shows that there is a difference in the average learning outcomes of the experimental group and the control group. Where the average learning outcomes of the experimental group are higher than the average learning outcomes of the control group. The effect size test results obtained a d value of 1.5 with high criteria. So it can be concluded that there is a high influence in the use of exploration, elaboration and confirmation models on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Jonggat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how the Game Based Learning model using the Quizizz application influences the interests and learning outcomes of grade VIII students of SMPN 3 Jonggat in the 2024/2025 academic year. The results of the Manova analysis obtained a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05, which means that H1 is accepted or there is a difference in the average interest and mathematics learning outcomes of students in the experimental class who use the game based learning model with the Quizizz application and the control class who use the conventional model. The results of the t test show a significance value of 0.006 < 0.05, which means that H1 is accepted or there is a difference in the average learning interest of the experimental class and the control class with the average value of the experimental class being 72.25, which is higher than the control class, namely 70.65. Likewise, there is a difference in the average mathematics learning outcomes of experimental class students, which is higher than that of the control class, with the average score of the experimental class being 85.01, which is higher than the control class, namely 71.35. Because there is a difference between the average of the experimental class and the control class and the average score of the experimental class is superior to the control class, there is an influence of the use of the game based learning model using the Quizizz application on the interest and learning outcomes in mathematics for class VIII students at SMPN 3 JONGGAT for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' errors in solving Ordinary Differential Equations (ODE) problems based on the SOLO taxonomy (Structure of the Observed Learning Outcome). This qualitative descriptive research involved 29 students from the Mathematics Education Study Program at the University of Mataram. Data were collected through essay tests and interviews, then analyzed using the SOLO taxonomy classification and error types based on the framework by Subanji and Mulyoto. The results show that most students were at the pre-structural, uni-structural, and multi-structural cognitive levels, with a dominance of conceptual and technical errors. Common mistakes included the use of incorrect formulas, errors in algebraic manipulation, and weak fundamental calculus skills. A lack of understanding of prerequisite concepts such as algebra and calculus was identified as the main factor contributing to these errors. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening basic concepts and implementing learning strategies based on the SOLO taxonomy to improve students' understanding of ODE topics
