Abstract

Anak usia dini merupakan anak yang berada pada tahap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan, baik secara fisik, kognitif, sosial emosional, kreatif, linguistik dan komunikatif. Masa ini memerlukan banyak rangsangan perkembangan, termasuk keterampilan interaksi sosial, untuk mencapai titik optimal. Interaksi sosial penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, karena tanpa adanya sebuah interaksi akan sangat menyulitkan semua orang dalam hidup di lingkungan masyarakat. Keterampilan komunikasi sosial sangat penting pada anak usia dini, karena dalam berinteraksi anak diajarkan untuk hidup bermasyarakat di lingkungannya. Selain itu, melalui interaksi sosial, anak dapat belajar mengungkapkan perasaan dan secara tepat menantang perilaku moralnya sendiri, serta mengenalkan anak pada pola pikir orang lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan komunikasi sosial anak pada pendidikan anak usia dini di lembaga anak POCENTER. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara dan observasi. Sumber data berupa data primer yaitu: peneliti melakukan pengamatan langsung di lapangan yaitu di Tempat Penitipan Anak POCENTER. Data sekunder berupa buku-buku, jurnal, sumber internet, dan hal-hal lain yang relevan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa anak Pocenter mempunyai kemampuan komunikasi sosial yang baik antara lain kerjasama, tolong menolong, menghargai dan berbagi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi cara life skills diajarkan di pocenter. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengumpulkan data yang memberikan gambaran tentang sistem pendidikan life skills, langkah-langkah dalam proses pembelajaran life skills, serta hasil yang diperoleh peserta didik dalam pembelajaran life skills di pocenter. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa dalam pengembangan life skill, terdapat penekanan pada beberapa elemen utama, yaitu penguasaan kemampuan yang relevan bagi peserta didik, penyajian materi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan peserta didik, penyelenggaraan kegiatan pembelajaran serta partisipasi aktif peserta didik dalam mencapai kompetensi, ketersediaan fasilitas, peralatan, dan sumber pembelajaran yang memadai, serta penerapan kemampuan-kemampuan yang dapat diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari peserta didik. Dalam penelitian ini, pendekatan yang dipergunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan Metode analisis deskriptif dengan maksud untuk mendeskripsikan peristiwa, perilaku orang atau suatu keadaan dalam bentuk narasi secara lebih mendalam dan rinci. Pendekatan dan metode ini dipilih karena sesuai dengan maksud dan tujuan penelitian, yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana di pocenter mengimplementasikan pendidikan life skills dalam meningkatkan kemandirian para santri. Dalam penyusunan program pembelajaran, kolaborasi antara guru dan kepala sekolah menjadi suatu hal yang sesuai. Ini disesuaikan dengan penelitian yang menemukan bahwa jenis pengajaran yang efektif bagi anak adalah yang menempatkan guru dan siswa di pusatnya. Kurikulum dimulai dengan perencanaan pembelajaran dan tujuan pembelajaran. Dalam setiap program pembelajaran yang disajikan oleh guru, nilai-nilai berbasis keterampilan hidup seperti kemandirian dan tanggung jawab pada siswa dipromosikan. Namun, pendekatan ini disesuaikan dengan perkembangan individu siswa, sehingga mereka dapat menguasai keterampilan dasar yang sesuai dengan tahap usia mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran guru dalam melatih kemandirian anak di pocenter dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menghambat perkembangan kemandirian anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian berupa guru di pocenter. Teknik pengumpulan data melibatkan wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru dalam melatih kemandirian anak di pocenter dianggap sangat baik. Guru menjalankan enam peran kunci yang berkontribusi pada pengembangan kemandirian anak. Berikut adalah enam peran tersebut: memberikan pemahman positif, membiasakn anak untuk rapi, memberikan permainan, memberikan anak pilihan sesuai minatnya, membangun komunikasi dengan orang tua, dan membangun komunikasi dengan anak.

Abstract

This research aimed to improve the ability to recognize geometric shapes in group A at TK AL-Ihlas Pasuruan using the educational game tool Bamzle (Bamboe puzzle). Bamzle is an educational game tool created by the researchers made from bamboo, widely available in the TK Al-Ihlas school environment. This research is Classroom Action Research using the Kemis and Mc. Taggart's design model with four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was carried out in 2 cycles, each with 2 meetings. The research subjects were children from group A, TK Al-Ihlas Kindergarten, Capang Village, Purwodadi District, Pasuruan Regency. Data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. The research results showed that the ability to recognize geometry increased from initial observation activities by 27%, then in Cycle I, it reached 41.67%, and in Cycle II, it reached 79.67%. The use of bamzle by teachers and students was very effective, as shown by the observations of the use of bamzle by students reaching 89% and by teachers reaching 92.7%. This has proved that Bamzle could improve the ability to recognize geometric shapes in group A at TK Al-Ihlas Pasuruan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the role of teachers in cultivating the character of diligent worship in early childhood at PAUD Tunas Harapan, Sukorejo village, Puhpelem subdistrict, Wonogiri district. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection using observation, interviews and documentation methods. The research results show that the formation of the character of diligent worship in early childhood cannot be separated from the role of the teacher, including: 1. The role of the teacher as a facilitator, namely the teacher provides an example as an example, namely the teacher arrives on time, the teacher gives an example when praying with good etiquette, provides an example in carrying out learning activities from start to finish. 2. The teacher acts as an inspirer, a teacher must be able to raise the enthusiasm of students by telling the story of Rosululloh and his companions to inspire students. 3. The teacher acts as a motivator, namely providing motivation to appreciate students who complete assignments well, giving rewards to children who excel, giving gifts and words of praise so that children are motivated to be enthusiastic about learning. 4. The teacher as a dynamist, namely the teacher has a view and attempts to build the character of students and has high creativity in finding a solution to every problem faced by students. 5. Teacher as evaluators have a role as people who carry out evaluations in learning at school. Evaluation in learning has an important role so that teachers know to what extent students have understood what the teacher/teacher has conveyed. Of the several roles teachers have carried out, the aim is to shape students at PAUD Tunas Harapan, Sukorejo village, Puhpelem sub-district into children who are diligent in worshiping, such as being accustomed to praying before doing assignments in class, accustomed to praying before and after eating, willing to learn to pray with joy, learning to perform ablution happily, accustomed to  coming to the mosque, willing to learn to memorize short letters happily and knowing the letters. hijaiyah with pleasure. All of this is instilled or developed as early as possible in early childhood because these are the fundamental religious teachings of every individual, community, nation and state's life.

Abstract

The partner educational institution, namely the Ponorogo Early Education Center (Pocenter), has not yet implemented sensory stimulation in children because educators do not yet understand more deeply how Montessori sensorial training activities work. So far the teachers only provide normal sensorial activities and do not use Montessori sensorial training. Through this training activity, it is hoped that educators at Pocenter and students as prospective educators can implement it when they graduate. This activity is the result of collaboration between four PG-PAUD study programs at Muhammadiyah universities. The activity was carried out online with six virtual meetings and involved speakers from the University of Malaysia Sarawak. The results of the pretest and posttest can be concluded that this workshop influenced the mindset of workshop participants for center teachers and prospective PAUD teacher students positively and significantly. This can be seen in the α value being smaller than 0.05, namely 0.00 and the t value being negative, read as positive because the pretest value is lower than the posttest value.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Mind Mapping method in stimulating the creativity of children aged 5-6 years at TK PKK Talun, Desa Talun, Kecamatan Ngebel, Kabupaten Ponorogo. The approach used is field descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving 20 children, as well as teachers and parents. The results show that the Mind Mapping method is effective in enhancing children's creativity, as evidenced by the increase in creative thinking abilities such as generating new ideas and connecting concepts. Observations indicated that the children were more active and enthusiastic in learning activities. Interviews with teachers and parents revealed that this method helps children understand the material better and improves their memory. Documentation of the children's work showed improvements in uniqueness and innovation aspects. Based on these findings, the Mind Mapping method is recommended as a learning strategy to stimulate creativity in early childhood education at TK PKK Talun.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology is an urgency that drove this research to deeply examine the use of multimedia learning as a storytelling method for early childhood teachers. This descriptive qualitative research was conducted at TK Dharma Wanita 1 Demangan, involving the principal, three classroom teachers, and 27 students. Data collection was carried out through observation of the method's implementation and children's responses, interviews with the principal and teachers regarding the application and constraints, and documentation of the learning process. The results showed that the implementation of the multimedia-based storytelling method was well realized through four structured stages: planning, introduction, implementation, and evaluation. This method proved effective in enhancing four main aspects of child development, including learning attractiveness, language ability, creativity, cognitive development, and social development, characterized by the children's high enthusiasm and participation. The main supporting factors include the children's enthusiasm and the availability of technological devices, while the hindering factors involve infrastructure limitations and the lack of adequate teacher training. The contribution of this research is the affirmation that interactive multimedia is an effective and relevant medium for improving the quality of the storytelling method for Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers.
