Abstract

Learning media is one of the learning tools that teachers need to be able to select, use and apply media that represents areas that cannot be compromised during the process. Audiovisual media has the potential to make learning more interesting, making children enthusiastic about learning. The aim of this research is to determine the use of PPT audiovisual learning media to introduce animal names in English at POCENTER. The qualitative research method is research carried out through observation. The post-positivist lens is used for empirical analysis under well-defined experimental conditions. The results of this research are that Pocenter has started using PowerPoint for teaching. Teaching media is one of the tools used in the learning process which has important lessons to be learned from the teaching method. With this media, when the learning objectives have been achieved, the transmission of knowledge and education can run smoothly. Therefore, educators need to understand each media that will be used to carry out teaching and learning activities effectively.

Abstract

Early childhood need to receive stimulation to be sensitive to the environment. If children have developed a sense of caring for the environment, they will understand their responsibility in maintaining the environment around them. This research describes the material used to preserve the natural environment in the Merdeka curriculum. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. This research approach uses a literature study method or literature study that uses journals or scientific articles, books, and references related to environmental conservation materials. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that Environmental resistance materials in the Early Childhood Education of Merdeka curriculum, which can be applied are 1) Cleanliness of the Natural Environment Applied, for example, children throw rubbish in the right place 2) Recycle rubbish; Applied example; children make crafts from used bottles, 3) Reforestation; Applied example; children plant trees in the school environment, 4) Mitigation Applied examples children are given examples of how to save themselves during an earthquake. 5) Go Green: Applied examples; children bring drinking bottles that can be used repeatedly (not plastic).

Abstract

The importance of early childhood multiple intelligences lied in the fact that every child possesses unique talents and potential. Various forms of intelligence, including verbal, mathematical reasoning, visual-spatial, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, kinesthetic, and naturalistic, enable educators to adapt learning approaches to meet the unique needs of each child. This study aims to enhance the numerical aptitude of children between the ages of 4 and 5 by utilizing the Sunda Manda number game at the Dharma Wanita Nadi II Kindergarten, Bulukerto. This study employs descriptive qualitative methodologies. The data collection process involved triangulation, including interviews with teachers from class A to gather information. Additionally, observations were made while the children were playing Sunda Manda numbers. Documentation was also done while playing Sunda Manda numbers to record relevant information about the children. The participants in the study consisted of teachers and pupils classified as class A, with an age range of 4-5 years. The research findings indicate that the Sunda Manda game numbers can enhance numeracy intelligence in children with auditory processing disorders associated with symbolic thinking, logical thinking, and learning and problem-solving abilities. Then, the game also promotes children's physical development through three stages: education, expansion, and development.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Mind Mapping method in stimulating the creativity of children aged 5-6 years at TK PKK Talun, Desa Talun, Kecamatan Ngebel, Kabupaten Ponorogo. The approach used is field descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving 20 children, as well as teachers and parents. The results show that the Mind Mapping method is effective in enhancing children's creativity, as evidenced by the increase in creative thinking abilities such as generating new ideas and connecting concepts. Observations indicated that the children were more active and enthusiastic in learning activities. Interviews with teachers and parents revealed that this method helps children understand the material better and improves their memory. Documentation of the children's work showed improvements in uniqueness and innovation aspects. Based on these findings, the Mind Mapping method is recommended as a learning strategy to stimulate creativity in early childhood education at TK PKK Talun.

Abstract

Social development is a critical aspect of early childhood growth. This study aims to analyse the social development of children aged 5–6 years and the supporting and inhibiting factors from the perspective of multicultural education. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews with teachers, classroom observations in early childhood education (PAUD), and documentation. The data analysis process focused on three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The findings revealed that the social development of 2 out of 6 children aged 5–6 years was categorized as Developing as Expected (BSH), while the other 4 children were in the Beginning to Develop (MB) category. Children’s social competencies are interrelated; weaknesses in one social competency can influence others. Inhibiting factors in the implementation of education include parents, children, and teachers, while supporting factors involve parents, peers, and teachers. Thus, multicultural education plays a strategic role in optimizing the social development of early childhood learners.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the role of teachers in cultivating the character of diligent worship in early childhood at PAUD Tunas Harapan, Sukorejo village, Puhpelem subdistrict, Wonogiri district. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection using observation, interviews and documentation methods. The research results show that the formation of the character of diligent worship in early childhood cannot be separated from the role of the teacher, including: 1. The role of the teacher as a facilitator, namely the teacher provides an example as an example, namely the teacher arrives on time, the teacher gives an example when praying with good etiquette, provides an example in carrying out learning activities from start to finish. 2. The teacher acts as an inspirer, a teacher must be able to raise the enthusiasm of students by telling the story of Rosululloh and his companions to inspire students. 3. The teacher acts as a motivator, namely providing motivation to appreciate students who complete assignments well, giving rewards to children who excel, giving gifts and words of praise so that children are motivated to be enthusiastic about learning. 4. The teacher as a dynamist, namely the teacher has a view and attempts to build the character of students and has high creativity in finding a solution to every problem faced by students. 5. Teacher as evaluators have a role as people who carry out evaluations in learning at school. Evaluation in learning has an important role so that teachers know to what extent students have understood what the teacher/teacher has conveyed. Of the several roles teachers have carried out, the aim is to shape students at PAUD Tunas Harapan, Sukorejo village, Puhpelem sub-district into children who are diligent in worshiping, such as being accustomed to praying before doing assignments in class, accustomed to praying before and after eating, willing to learn to pray with joy, learning to perform ablution happily, accustomed to  coming to the mosque, willing to learn to memorize short letters happily and knowing the letters. hijaiyah with pleasure. All of this is instilled or developed as early as possible in early childhood because these are the fundamental religious teachings of every individual, community, nation and state's life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses pembelajaran melalui permainan plastisin yang dilakukan di Pocenter. Lebih lanjut adalah memaparkan keterkaitan pelaksanaan permainan plastisin terhadap peningkatan kreatifitas anak usia dini di lembaga Pocenter. Adapun metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sumber primer penelitian meliputi, kepala sekolah dan fasilitator lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini Pocenter. Adapaun teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dalam empat tahapat yaitu, teknik pengumpulan data, teknik reduksi data, teknik penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan bermain plastisin yang dilakukan di Poccenter terbilang sangat berhasil. Hal ini ditandai dengan antuasme anak untuk mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Lebih lanjut tahapan dalam bermain plastisin terbagi menjadi tiga yaitu, tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Ketiga tahapan tersebut memberikan peranan penting dan saling berkaitan jika ditinjau berdasarkan indikator tujuan yang telah dirumuskan sebelumnya yaitu mengembangkan kemampuasn kreatifitas anak. Bermain plastisin juga memiliki dampak baik bagi kemampuan kreatifitas pada anak usia dini. Pertama, berfikir kreatif meliputi melatih kemampuan sensorik anak, mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir, meningkatkan self-esteem, mengasah dan kemampuan berbahasa memupuk kemampuan sosial. Kedua, sikap dan perasaan meliputi Upaya rasa ingin tahu, Imajinatif, dan Merasa tertantang oleh kemajemukan atau pluralisme.

Abstract

Pembelajaran meronce bagi anak usia dini dilakukan oleh POCENTER kabupaten Ponorogo bagi anak usia dini. Adapun tujuanya adalah untuk merangsang motorik halus pada anak sehingga dapat menjadikan tubuh kembang menjadi lebih baik. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang berupa data tulisan dan bukan angka-angka. Menurut hasil observasi bahwa, anak merasa senang dan pengetahuan mereka untuk melihat hal-hal baru sangat terlihat. Anak-anak cenderung aktif dan mudah berkomunikasi akibat dari adanya kegiatan meronce yang dilakukan di POCENTER. Manfaat meronce sangat dirasakan bagi anak usia dini dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan, adapaun yaitu (1) dapat melatih kelenturan otot tangan, (2) meningkatkan konsentrasi anak, (3) meningkatkan kemampuan anak mengenal bentuk dan warna, (4) menstimulasi kemampuan membaca anak, (5) sebagai pengasah kemampuan kognitif anak, (6) melatih kesabaran anak, (7) melatih kemandirian anak.

Abstract

This research explores the implementation of project-based learning at Dharma Wanita Demangan Kindergarten to cultivate the Pancasila student profile, specifically focusing on instilling mutual cooperation from an early age. The study posits that such learning strengthens positive social character through immersive experiences, potentially shaping children's future social interactions. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data was collected via observations of the principal, a teacher, and student learning, alongside interviews and documentation of the teaching process. The analysis involved data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Findings indicate that the Market Day project was successfully implemented and fostered elements of mutual cooperation among children. This success was attributed to student enthusiasm, parental support, and the teacher's creative teaching methods. However, the study also identified the dominance of certain children as a challenge requiring teacher intervention to ensure equitable participation.Ultimately, this research contributes to understanding the practical application of project-based learning in early childhood education to enhance the Pancasila student profile, particularly in nurturing mutual cooperation. It also highlights key factors influencing the effectiveness of such initiatives.

Abstract

Instilling Islamic moral values in early childhood is essential for lifelong character development. In today’s digital era, educational games offer an engaging way to foster these values. This study examines the use of digital educational games at BA Ronowijayan Siman Ponorogo to nurture Islamic morals in young children. Through classroom observation, teacher interviews, and document analysis, the research finds that digital tools—such as Islamic storytelling apps and interactive value-based games—significantly support the cultivation of honesty, responsibility, politeness, and devotion. Teachers play a crucial role by selecting suitable content and guiding children’s use of technology. The integration of digital media increases learning motivation and strengthens the internalization of Islamic values in everyday behavior. The study suggests ongoing development of Islamic digital learning resources and stresses the need for teacher training in educational technology for early childhood education
