Abstract

Tuntutan akan penguasaan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran oleh guru TK saat ini menjadi latarbelakang kegiatan pendampingan literasi digital guru TK se-Luwu Raya ini dilaksanakan. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan oleh Prodi Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini IAIN Palopo Palopo kepada 30 guru. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah agar dapat meningkatkan pemahaman guru-guru PAUD dalam literasi digital selain itu guru-guru mampu dengan baik menggunakan teknologi digital dalam proses pendidikan di sekolah. Metode kegiatan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pendampingan. Metode ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan individu dalam bidang yang spesifik. Hasil pendampingan kepada 30 peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini diperoleh 90 % responden menyatakan puas dengan pendampingan literasi digital yang telah dibuat. Serta diharapkan dukungan teknis dan panduan untuk memanfaatkan sumber daya harus tersedia. Selain itu, menciptakan lingkungan kolaboratif di mana para guru dapat berbagi praktik terbaik, ide-ide inovatif, dan belajar dari satu sama lain dapat menumbuhkan budaya pembelajaran dan pengembangan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the many cases of narcotics abuse in Indonesia which have now been found in various regions including the city of Palopo. This study aims to educate the public from an early age about the dangers of narcotics and hazardous substances such as inhalant abuse as a preventive measure for the development of narcotics cases in Indonesia, especially in Palopo City. This research uses the RD method by developing a QR Code-based booklet as educational media for elementary school students and teachers. The results of this study found that the QR Code-based booklet product to prevent inhalant abuse behavior in elementary school students was declared valid or feasible to use. Furthermore, the teacher's response in the practicality test of the QR Code-based booklet to prevent inhalant abuse behavior was declared practical to use. In this study, it was also found that there was an increase in learning outcomes before and after the application of QR Code-based booklets to prevent inhalant abuse behavior.

Abstract

The difficulty some children face in recognizing numbers and choosing colors is experienced by several children at RA Bahrul Ulum Luwu Utara. This study aims to understand the description and factors causing children’s difficulties in identifying number symbols and selecting colors. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach through observation, and data collection techniques including observation and interviews. The research results show that the difficulties children face in identifying number symbols and choosing colors include difficulty understanding the shape of numbers, difficulty in ordering numbers, and difficulty in associating images with numbers. Meanwhile, the difficulties in choosing colors are confusion when asked about colors, difficulty associating colors with objects, and dependence on the teacher. The factors causing children's difficulties in identifying number symbols and colors are lack of parental attention, lack of focus and interest, dependency behavior, the negative influence of a strict teaching approach, the habit of playing with phones, and children attending school infrequently. Therefore, this study suggests that early learning for children to introduce numbers can start with lines (|) that can form numbers 1-10. For color recognition, an initial step that can be used is conducting outdoor activities by taking the children on a tour outside while observing the colors of nature, such as the colors of leaves, flowers, the sky, or surrounding objects.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of teacher creativity on students' learning motivation in the context of learning Islamic Religious Education and Character Education subjects at SMPN 7 Palopo, South Sulawesi. The research method used is quantitative research with a correlation approach. Data were collected from 45 students in grades VII and VIII through teacher creativity questionnaires and student learning motivation questionnaires. The results of data analysis showed a positive and significant relationship between teacher creativity and student learning motivation. These results emphasize the importance of the role of teachers in creating creative learning experiences to improve student learning motivation. These findings have implications for improving the quality of education and providing practical guidance for teachers and schools in improving learning effectiveness.

Abstract

Tauhid-based education plays a crucial role in shaping the spiritual character of young children. This study aims to analyze the implementation of tauhid learning and its influence on the development of children's spiritual character at Waladun Shalih Integrated Islamic Kindergarten in Palopo City. A qualitative case study approach was employed to gain an in-depth understanding of tauhid-oriented educational practices within an integrated Islamic school environment. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, involving the principal, teachers, staff, and group B children (aged 5–6 years) as research subjects. The findings reveal that tauhid learning is implemented in a structured manner through thematic approaches and daily spiritual activities such as collective prayer, Dhuha prayer, morning dhikr, and the introduction of Asmaul Husna. Teachers serve as role models in spirituality and behavior, functioning as direct media for instilling tauhid values. The formation of children's spiritual character is further supported by a religious school environment and active parental involvement through parenting programs. These results affirm that the implementation of tauhid learning significantly contributes to building the foundation of faith and spiritual character in early childhood

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis kompetensi pedagogik guru PAUD berdasarkan latar belakang pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui latar belakang pendidikan guru. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru di TK Mutiara Bunda Desa Bassiang. Analisis yang digunakan adalah Reduksi Data, Penyajian Data dan Penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1). Pada kelas A1 guru yang memiliki latar belakang pendidikan S1 Pendidikan Agama Islam dan memiliki kompetensi tambahan yaitu Pelatihan Peningkatan Wawasan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini dan Bimbingan Teknis GEBRAK PAUD (Gerakan Transisi Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini), pada kelas A2 guru yang memiliki latar belakang pendidikan S1 Bahasa Inggris dan belum pernah mengikuti pelatihan apapun. Guru kelas B merupakan lulusan SMA dan kompetensi tambahan yaitu pelatihan peningkatan wawasan pendidikan anak usia dini. 2). Kendala yang dialami guru saat mengajar berdasarkan latar belakang pendidikan di TK Mutiara Bunda Desa Bassiang antara lain kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam penguasaan materi, kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam penggunaan alat peraga, kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam penggunaan metode mengajar yang tepat, kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam pengelolaan kelas.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how to improve the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at TKIT Waladun Shalih. The type of research used is classroom action research, with two cycles, namely cycle I consisting of 4 meetings and cycle II consisting of 4 meetings. The subjects of this research were teachers and children aged 5-6 years at TKIT Waladun Shalih, consisting of 2 teachers and 16 children consisting of 10 boys and 6 girls. The problem solving method used in the teaching and learning process in offline learning is the mosaic technique using natural materials, using interview research instruments, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively quantitatively. The research results show that there is an increase in fine motor skills. The improvement in fine motor skills can be seen based on scores in the initial or pre-action conditions with 11 children in the not yet developing category, and 5 children in the beginning to develop category. Then in the first cycle there was an increase with 5 children in the not yet developing category, then in the starting to develop category there were 7 children, and in the developing according to expectations category there were 4 children. And the increase that occurred in cycle II with the category developing according to expectations was 6 children, and in the very well developing category there were 10 children. The success of this research is determined by the child's score which shows that the child's learning outcomes have improved.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum provides freedom to teachers and students in shaping character to create a fun and meaningful learning environment. This study discusses the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Learning the Pancasila Student Profile at Paramata Bunda Palopo Kindergarten. This study aims: 1) to determine the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Learning the Pancasila Student Profile at Paramata Bunda Palopo Kindergarten, and 2) to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Independent Curriculum in Learning the Pancasila Student Profile at Paramata Bunda Palopo Kindergarten. This study uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of the principal and 1 teacher. Data collection techniques were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data presentation and concluding. The results of the study indicate that the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in learning the Pancasila student profile at Paramata Bunda Palopo Kindergarten has run optimally. Teachers have integrated character values into daily learning in a creative and fun way. The main supporting factors in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum are school support, teacher training, collaboration between teachers and the principal, parental involvement, and internet access. Inhibiting factors include limited time for preparation, parents' lack of understanding of the importance of the Independent Curriculum and adaptation to the new curriculum, and teachers' competencies that still need to be improved. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pembelajaran terpadu atau pembelajaran temati di SDN 113 Karawak kecamatan masamba kabupaten luwu utara. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini (1) untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan yang dialami guru kelas rendah dalam menerapkan pembelajaran tematik, (2) untuk mendeskripsikan faktor yang melatar belakangi kesulitan guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran tematik, (3) untuk mendeskripsikan solusi apa saja yang guru gunakan dalam mengatasi pembelajaran tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Tehnik analisis data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data reduction (reduksi data), data display (penyajian data), dan conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran tematik kelas rendah di SDN 113 Karawak mengalami berbagai kendala, secara garis besar kendala tersebut yaitu pada saat menerapkan pembelajaran tematik dalam mengaitkan beberapa tema. Adapun faktor yang melatar belakangi kesulitan guru pada pembelajaran tematik salah satunya adalah kurangnya fasilitas alat pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran di SDN 113 Karawak. Untuk mengatasi kesulitan guru pada pembelajaran tematik adapun solusi yang diberikan oleh guru seperti penyusaian metode pembelajaran, sumber belajar, dukungan orang tua, dam evaluasi.

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of the singing method in enhancing the reading skills of first-grade students at SDN 30 Mattirowalie, Palopo City. The main objective of this study is to describe the implementation of the singing method in early reading instruction and to evaluate its impact on students' reading abilities. This research adopts a classroom action approach, combining qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods in data collection and analysis. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and tests conducted throughout the research cycle. The research process is divided into four main stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The researcher acts as a teacher, implementing the singing method in instruction, while the homeroom teacher serves as an observer to collect observational data. The implementation of the singing method proves to be effective, evidenced by increased student enthusiasm in the teaching and learning process and significant improvement in average test scores conducted at the end of each learning cycle. The results consistently improve students' early reading skills from cycle to cycle. The average score in cycle I was 38.2, increased to 57.6 in cycle II, and finally reached its peak in cycle III with an average score of 78.6. This improvement exceeds the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) set by the school at 70, leading to the termination of the research in cycle III as the target has been successfully achieved.
