Abstract

Pentingnya pemilihan jurusan yang sesuai dengan minat, bakat, dan aspirasi individu telah menjadi fokus perhatian dalam konteks pendidikan. Tujuan pelaksanaan seminar pendidikan yang dihadirkan sebagai wadah diskusi dan pemahaman lebih mendalam mengenai tantangan dan peluang yang ada. Metode pengabdian ini menggunakan metode berbasis ceramah dalam bentuk seminar. Seminar ini dilaksanakan melalui berbagai metode interaktif, termasuk presentasi, diskusi kelompok, dan aktivitas refleksi. Seminar diikuti oleh siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Batu Putih. Lokasi pengabdian di Jalan Trans Sulawesi Kecamatan Batu Putih Kabupaten Kolaka Utara Sulawesi Tenggara. Seminar ini menyoroti pentingnya pemilihan jurusan dan perguruan tinggi yang tepat dalam mempersiapkan generasi mendatang menghadapi dinamika kehidupan. Seminar ini menyoroti pentingnya pemilihan jurusan dan perguruan tinggi yang tepat dalam mempersiapkan generasi mendatang menghadapi dinamika kehidupan. Materi yang diberikan oleh tiga pemateri yakni pemahaman terhadap minat dan bakat yang dimiliki, mengikuti tren dan kebutuhan pasar, mengeksplorasi karir dan peluang kerja.

Abstract

Covid-19 forced the government to stop offline or face-to-face learning and implement online learning. Online learning is a new learning style for most students. This study investigates the challenges of online learning faced by students at a faculty of education in South Sulawesi. In particular, this research focuses on the types of challenges faced by students and how they overcome these challenges. This study uses a qualitative approach by conducting semi-structured interviews via telephone calls, WhatsApp applications, and virtual zoom applications to collect data from 30 students at one campus in South Sulawesi. The findings of this study indicate that the challenges faced by students are largely influenced by digital knowledge and skills, economic background, place of residence, and the teaching style of lecturers. This study concludes that online learning is less effective in increasing student participation, activeness, and providing quality learning.

Abstract

This research discusses the development of a Canva-based interactive e-book for my morals material in class VI MIS Hidayatul Ilmi Kalitata. The research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The subjects are class VI students of MIS Hidayatul Ilmi Kalitata for the 2023/2024 academic year. Data was collected through observation, questionnaires and interviews, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively and descriptively quantitatively. The research results show that this Canva-based interactive e-book is valid with a high score, namely 90.90% by media experts, 85.71% by material experts, and 91.66% by language experts. In terms of practicality, this e-book was also rated highly by teachers (82.8%) and students (83.8%). Thus, this interactive e-book is suitable for use in the process of learning my morals material at the school. This research contributes to developing teaching materials that are more interactive and relevant to technological developments, as well as providing empirical evidence regarding the validity and practicality of their use in the learning context of class VI MIS Hidayatul Ilmi Kalitata.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the analysis of the needs for calculating board media, to describe the steps for developing calculating board media, material for the calculation operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and to determine the validity of the calculating board media developed in class 3 of SDN 305 Langkidi. This research uses a type of development research using the ADDIE model. The steps taken in this research are needs analysis, design, product development and evaluation. The subjects of this research were 27 students and a class teacher. Data analysis uses qualitative and quantitative. The results of the calculation board media feasibility test from design experts obtained a percentage score of 71.87% in the valid category, while material experts got 84.37% which was also in the very valid category so that it could be used in learning.

Abstract

The main aim and focus of this research is the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in dealing with the impact of online games on students' morals in the era of society 5.0 at UPT SMP Negeri 4 Masamba. This research uses a type of qualitative research that describes things or data obtained from the field. The subjects in this research were school principals, Islamic Religious Education teachers and students at SMP Negeri 4 Masamba. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are that the use of technology has a more negative impact on students' morals, for example, showing an indifferent and impolite attitude towards others. The efforts made by PAI teachers to develop students' morals are teaching about mahmudah and mazmumah morals, giving punishments that only aim to train students' behavior and morals. Factors that support the moral development of students are the presence of ROHIS, a moral school culture and good synergy between teachers. The inhibiting factors are the lack of good manners among students and the lack of parental supervision of their children when they access the Mobile Legend (ML) application, so that students are more easily affected by the negative impact of online games.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of Project-Based Learning (PBL) integrated with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) on the critical thinking skills of elementary school students in thematic learning. A quantitative design with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design was used in this study. The collected data was collected using observation and tests. The data is collected and analyzed descriptively and inferentially using the SPSS Version 26 application. Data analysis begins with descriptive statistics, normality, and hypothesis tests. The results showed an influence of Project Based Learning integrated with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math on the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. Through that learning, students' necessary thinking skills are provoked and trained so that students can define, formulate, argue, and also conclude in solving a problem.

Abstract

Currently, it is still rare to find teaching materials that are innovative and use technology, so they have an impact on decreasing student motivation and independence in learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the stages of developing teaching materials, determine the validity and practicality of the teaching materials produced and determine the level of independence of students after using these teaching materials. This type of research is research and development by adapting the 4D development model. The steps are Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The subjects in this study were 16 fifth grade students and teachers at SD Negeri 173 Gaya Baru, Tellu Limpoe District, Bone Regency. The instruments used in this study were interview guidelines, validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires and learning independence questionnaires. The results showed that the resulting product was in the form of Flipbook teaching materials with the help of the Publuu application which was developed containing material in the form of reading materials, pictures, videos and evaluation through 3 stages of define, design and development. The data from the material expert validation results is 96.9% in the valid category and the media expert validation results are 76.6% which are in the valid category. In addition, the practicality test shows that the average student response is 89% and the teacher's response is 90.26% which is in a very high practicality category, so that it influences student learning independence. This flipbook-shaped teaching material makes a contribution to elementary schools for use in the learning process, because it is practical and flexible.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran aktivitas dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru dan siswa serta untuk mengetahui peningkatan rasa percaya diri siswa melalui model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together berbantuan media puzzle pada pembelajaran tematik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas) dengan subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas dan siswa kelas III SDN 41 Batu Putih Kota Palopo yang berjumlah 15 orang. Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) terdiri atas beberapa siklus yang setiap siklus terdiri dari empat langkah-langkah yaitu perencanaan, pelasksanaan, pengamatan atau observasi dan refleksi dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, angket dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I, rata-rata aktivitas pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model Numbered Heads Together berbantuan media puzzle pada aspek guru sebesar 58%, sedangkan pada aspek siswa sebesar 46% yang termasuk kategori cukup, sehingga tingkat percaya diri siswa hanya berada pada kategori kurang dengan persentase sebesar 54%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan pada siklus II yaitu rata-rata pelaksanaan aspek observasi guru sebesar 88% sedangkan pengamatan aktivitas siswa secara klasikal menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 85% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian, dapat diketahui bahwa rata-rata perolehan hasil angket siswa pada siklus II sebesar 85% dengan kategori sangat baik yang menunjukkan kenaikan sebesar 31% dari siklus I.

Abstract

Tujuan yang akan dicapai dalam penelitian ini yakni menganalisis eksistensi layanan perpustakaan keliling bagi siswa sekolah dasar pada era digital. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni studi literatur yang bersumber dari artikel yang ditulis oleh para ahli dan telah diterbitkan ke dalam jurnal nasional maupun internasional serta kebijakan pemerintah. Upaya untuk mempertahankan keberadaan perpustakaan keliling yaitu (1) menggencarkan kegiatan promosi di media sosial, (2) meningkatkan jumlah koleksi bacaan dan (3) meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan prima pustakawan. Sebagai unsur yang paling berperan dalam mempertahankan eksistensi keberadaan perpustakaan keliling, maka perlu adanya peningkatan kemampuan sumber daya manusia untuk terus melakukan inovasi. Layanan perpustakaan keliling harus mampu bersaing mengikuti arus digitalisasi, sehingga menarik untuk dikunjungi oleh siswa khususnya pada tingkat Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

This research aims to test the reliability of the product and its development process. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with modification of the 4D model, including the definition, design, development, and deployment stages. The subject of the research was a fourth-grade student. Data is collected through surveys, validation sheets, interviews, documentation, and observations. The results of this research are in the form of Islamic Religious Education learning media based on the Maze Chase WordWall game on the material of Children of Shalih. Products are developed through needs analysis, design, expert validation, and trials. The validation results showed that this media was very valid, with a score of 96.42% from material experts, 75% from media experts, and 91.66% from linguists. The practicality test showed a score of 78%, which indicates that this game is feasible and practical to use in learning Islamic Religious Education.
