Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of educational management information systems in administrative management at SDN Kemakmuran 1 and MTs Ma'arif NU 4 Songgom Brebes. The author uses field research where researchers go directly to the field to obtain research data. The approach used is a descriptive qualitative approach to describe the application of educational management information systems in administrative management at SDN Kemakmuran 1 and MTs Ma'arif NU 4 Songgom Brebes. Data collection methods used in this study are interviews, observations and documentation. Furthermore, the author analyzes the data using the Miles and Huberman model by reducing data, presenting data and verifying data. Then the data is tested for validity with data triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the application of educational management information systems in administrative management at SDN Kemakmuran 1 and MTs Ma'arif NU 4 Songgom still has several obstacles in its implementation but can be categorized as quite good. This is evidenced by the existence of several applications to help manage the administration of the two schools.

Abstract

Integrasi kurikulum pesantren dalam konteks kurikulum nasional pada pondok pesantren modern adalah konsep yang bertujuan menyatukan pendidikan agama pesantren dengan pendidikan umum nasional, menciptakan siswa dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan komprehensif. Beberapa pondok pesantren modern di Indonesia telah menerapkan integrasi ini, meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agama dan moral. Landasan teori mencakup pemahaman tentang kurikulum pendidikan, kurikulum pesantren, dan kurikulum nasional, dengan integrasi bertujuan memberikan pendidikan holistik dan mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan dunia modern. Metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif digunakan, dan hasil temuan menunjukkan dampak positif, termasuk peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan penguatan identitas keislaman siswa. Perkembangan kurikulum pesantren, konsep integrasi, alasan, tujuan, proses, dan tantangan integrasi dijelaskan dalam hasil temuan, dengan implikasi penelitian untuk pengembangan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Kesimpulan menekankan pentingnya integrasi kurikulum pesantren dalam kurikulum nasional untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, memperkuat identitas keislaman, dan mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi dunia modern.

Abstract

The implementation of the Education Management Information System (SIMP) at Mulia Bakti Purwokerto Vocational School aims to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of data management and administrative processes, especially in managing tracer studies. Tracer study is an important activity carried out to collect data regarding the success of alumni in entering the world of work and the relevance of the curriculum to industry needs. This research uses a qualitative approach, with data collection methods through interviews, observation and literature study. The research results show that SIMP has succeeded in increasing the accuracy, completeness and speed of alumni data collection. Data collected through SIMP allows a more comprehensive analysis of alumni success rates, with a success percentage reaching 90% by 2024. However, there are still several obstacles, such as a lack of alumni awareness about the importance of filling out tracer study forms, limited internet access, and a lack of training for teachers and staff. Recommendations to overcome this obstacle include improving communication and outreach to alumni, providing better internet access, and training for teachers and staff. Overall, the application of SIMP in managing tracer studies at Mulia Bakti Purwokerto Vocational School not only provides useful data for evaluating educational programs, but also contributes to bridging the gap between education and industry, thereby improving the quality of vocational education and preparing graduates who are competitive in the job market.

Abstract

This study analyzes the strategic role of the school committee in financial management at MTs Al Hidayah Purwokerto Barat, focusing on financial management processes, parental involvement, and fundraising strategies. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, the research applied data collection methods through in-depth interviews, observation, and financial document analysis, involving school committee members, parent administrators, and school management. Thematic analysis was used to identify significant patterns and themes. Research findings reveal that the school committee plays a crucial role in budget planning, financial supervision, and educational goal achievement. They developed innovative fundraising strategies such as charity events, bazaars, and online donation campaigns, which not only increase financial support but also strengthen community engagement. Active parental involvement through various fundraising activities proved effective in enhancing financial resources and building stronger relationships between the school and students' families. The principles of transparency and accountability serve as the primary foundation in every financial management process, enabling strict monitoring of fund usage and ensuring each allocation directly contributes to improving educational quality. The study's conclusion emphasizes that a comprehensive and participatory approach to school financial management is key to creating a sustainable and high-quality educational ecosystem.

Abstract

Islamic Education has a very important role in shaping the character, morality and spiritual values ​​of Muslim individuals. In facing modern-day challenges, implementing a competitive curriculum is very important to ensure that Islamic Education provides optimal benefits. A competitive curriculum must be able to combine Islamic religious values ​​with contemporary educational needs and provide a comprehensive understanding to students. This article aims to explore various strategies and approaches to increase the effectiveness of Islamic religious education through the implementation of a competitive curriculum. Through a literature study approach, we present an in-depth review of concepts, challenges and solutions that can be applied in the context of Islamic religious education. We conclude that the implementation of a competitive curriculum in Islamic education has great potential to improve the quality of education, prepare students to face the challenges of the times, and form a generation of quality Muslims. Thus, this article provides comprehensive and in-depth insight into the importance of implementing a competitive curriculum in the context of Islamic religious education.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is present as a breath of fresh air in the world of Indonesian education, providing space and flexibility for madrasas to develop operational curricula that suit their particularities and needs. The implementation of the Independent Curriculum at the madrasa level has begun to roll out, bringing new hope for the progress of madrasa education in Indonesia. This research aims to identify the implementation of the independent curriculum in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah: Case Study in West Purwokerto District. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. This approach allows researchers to understand the phenomenon under study in depth, through analysis of specific cases in relevant environments. The results of the research explain that the implementation of the Merdeka MI Curriculum in West Purwokerto District is still in its early stages and faces various challenges. More intensive efforts from various parties are needed to ensure effective implementation of the Independent Curriculum and achieve its goal of improving the quality of education at MI. The implementation of this curriculum is indeed quite behind other elementary schools, but everything will proceed according to existing plans.‎

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the independent curriculum policy in developing the talents and interests of students at SD Negeri Kemakmuran 1 Songgom Brebes. The author uses field research where researchers go directly into the field to obtain research data. The approach used is a descriptive qualitative approach to describe the implementation of the independent curriculum policy in developing the talents and interests of students at SD Negeri Kemakmuran 1. The data collection methods used in this research are interviews, observation and documentation. Next, the author analyzes the data using the Miles and Huberman model by reducing data, presenting the data and verifying the data. Then the data was tested for validity by data triangulation. The results of the research show that SD Negeri Kemakmuran 1 has implemented an independent curriculum to develop students' talents and interests, including: providing motivation to students, fostering enthusiasm for learning, paying attention to students, exploring family backgrounds, and establishing collaboration with student parents. SD Negeri Kemakmuran 1 also does several things to support children's talents and interests, including: drum band training, scout training and others. There are also several computer units and sports equipment.

Abstract

When viewed from the facts in the field, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum (IKM) shows that it has not been fully realized due to various problems, including the learning of Islamic Religious Education. Learning Islamic Religious Education as a series of Islamic subjects is delivered with material taught from elementary school to tertiary level and must respond well to the Merdeka Belajar policy. Therefore, it is important to carry out an evaluation, starting with identifying obstacles so that appropriate solutions are determined. Various problems are even starting to be felt, especially by teaching staff who play an important role in the learning process. The research carried out has the aim of analyzing various problems that exist in implementing the independent curriculum. The method used is a qualitative approach using a literature review or library research method. In this case the researcher used a literature review with a narrative review. After conducting research, it was found that there were several obstacles in implementing the independent curriculum in Islamic Religious Education learning, namely obstacles originating from infrastructure, teacher conditions, student conditions, school environment, family and also the government.

Abstract

A responsive approach to gender issues in developing the Islamic religious education curriculum is becoming increasingly important because it supports efforts to achieve equality and justice in education. The aim of this study is to explore the urgency and implications of developing a gender-responsive curriculum in the context of Islamic religious education. Through in-depth analysis, this journal examines the concept of gender equality in Islamic education, identifies the challenges faced in integrating gender perspectives in the curriculum, and offers practical strategies to achieve this goal. A gender-responsive Islamic religious education curriculum must also pay attention to several things, namely: 1). Gender context: curriculum development must understand gender roles in society and recognize differences and equality between men and women. 2). Moral values: every lesson in the curriculum must include moral values that are relevant to religion, because they will help students understand not only the transfer of knowledge, but also character formation skills. 3). Competency-based curriculum: the use of a competency-based curriculum allows for a more holistic approach. Students not only gain knowledge, but also relevant skills and values. With this approach, it is hoped that the Islamic religious education curriculum can provide a more meaningful learning experience and support equality and justice in education.
