Abstract

This research aims to determine the strategy of domestic waste management in Jatiasih sub-District of Bekasi City, in this case whether collaborative governance theory has been applied in domestic waste management in Jatiasih sub-District of Bekasi City. This research use descriptive qualitative method, where data collection techniques are carried out by conducting interviews, documentation and obsevation. In collecting data, the researcher chose informants using purposive sampling technique where the researcher selected 6 (six) informants, namely 1 (one) Head of Technical Implementation Unit of The Environmental Service Office of Jatiasih sub-District or later called UPTD LH Jatiasih sub-District, 1 (one) person busines actor, 1 (one) trash bank activist and 3 (three) community members. The results showed that the strategy of domestic waste management in Jatiasih sub-District of Bekasi City has not applied the collaborative governance theory as a whole. In the domestic waste management, the UPTD LH Jatiasih sub-District has not optimally involved the community members in the strategy of domestic waste management in Jatiasih sub-District of Bekasi City. This relates to the fact that indicators in the collaborative governance process have not yet been fully implemented. The domestic waste management in Jatiasih sub-District of Bekasi City still faces various problems.

Abstract

Waste management has become a crucial issue in the modern era, requiring a holistic and collaborative approach to achieve environmental sustainability. This journal discusses the concept of Collaborative Governance Pentahelix ABCMG+ in the context of managing the Waste Bank program in Bekasi City. This concept combines five main pillars, namely Academics, Business, Government, Society and Media (ABCMG+), with the aim of optimizing the role of each party to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness in waste management. This research uses literature analysis, case studies, interviews and observations to describe the implementation and impact of this collaboration at the local level. The research results show that full integration of ABCMG+ can increase public awareness, waste collection efficiency and waste processing. The success of the Waste Bank program is closely related to the active involvement of all related parties, including universities, business people, local governments, the general public and the mass media. The application of sustainable economic principles in this collaborative framework also opens up new opportunities to create a sustainable ecosystem in Bekasi City. This research provides an in-depth understanding of how Collaborative Governance Pentahelix ABCMG+ can be implemented in the management of the Waste Bank program, contributing to the development of collaboration-based strategies to overcome environmental challenges at the local level and achieve broader sustainability goals.Pengelolaan sampah menjadi isu krusial di era modern, membutuhkan pendekatan yang holistik dan kolaboratif untuk mencapai keberlanjutan lingkungan. Jurnal ini membahas konsep Collaborative Governance Pentahelix ABCMG+ dalam konteks pengelolaan program Bank Sampah di Kota Bekasi. Konsep ini memadukan lima pilar utama, yaitu Akademisi, Bisnis, Pemerintah, Masyarakat, dan Media (ABCMG+), dengan tujuan mengoptimalkan peran masing-masing pihak untuk mencapai efisiensi dan efektivitas maksimal dalam pengelolaan sampah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis literatur, studi kasus, wawancara, dan observasi untuk menggambarkan implementasi dan dampak kolaborasi ini pada tingkat lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi penuh dari ABCMG+ dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, efisiensi pengumpulan sampah, dan pemrosesan limbah. Keberhasilan program Bank Sampah ini terkait erat dengan keterlibatan aktif dari semua pihak terkait, termasuk perguruan tinggi, pelaku bisnis, pemerintah daerah, masyarakat umum, dan media massa. Penerapan prinsip-prinsip ekonomi berkelanjutan dalam kerangka kolaboratif ini juga membuka peluang baru untuk menciptakan ekosistem yang berkelanjutan di Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang bagaimana Collaborative Governance Pentahelix ABCMG+ dapat diimplementasikan dalam pengelolaan program Bank Sampah, memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan strategi berbasis kolaborasi untuk mengatasi tantangan lingkungan di tingkat lokal dan mencapai tujuan keberlanjutan yang lebih luas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of green competency development in enhancing market competitiveness among employees in the ecotourism industry. Green competencies have become increasingly important in the era of the green economy, particularly in the ecotourism sector, which heavily relies on environmental sustainability. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this study reviews and synthesizes various relevant studies on green competency development, market competitiveness, employee behavior, and ecotourism. Data were obtained from scholarly journals and other publications published within the last decade, with search criteria encompassing topics related to green competencies and competitiveness in sustainability-focused sectors. The findings suggest that the development of employees' green competencies, including an understanding of environmentally friendly practices and sustainable skills, can positively contribute to a company's market competitiveness in the ecotourism industry. The results also reveal that green competencies enhance the company's value and reputation, thus attracting environmentally conscious consumers. This study suggests that ecotourism managers should prioritize green training programs to strengthen the company's competitiveness in an increasingly sustainability-oriented market.

Abstract

Penurunan fungsi kognitif pada lanjut usia (lansia), khususnya demensia dan delirium, merupakan tantangan kesehatan masyarakat yang semakin signifikan seiring dengan meningkatnya angka harapan hidup. Kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat mengenai gejala awal dan perbedaan antara demensia dan delirium sering kali menyebabkan keterlambatan dalam deteksi dan penanganan, sehingga memperburuk kualitas hidup lansia dan meningkatkan beban keluarga serta sistem layanan kesehatan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai penurunan fungsi kognitif pada lansia melalui pendekatan edukatif yang interaktif dan berbasis komunitas. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 3 Oktober 2025 di Universitas Krisnadwipayana sebagai bagian dari program Sekolah Lansia Poge Hebat, yang dibentuk oleh Lembaga Indonesia Ramah Lansia (IRL) bekerja sama dengan Universitas Krisnadwipayana dan Kecamatan Pondokgede, Bekasi. Sebanyak 107 peserta lansia mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan yang meliputi pemeriksaan kesehatan, senam terapi ringan, ceramah interaktif, dan diskusi kelompok. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peserta aktif dalam kegiatan, menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi, serta adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan peserta mengenai gejala, faktor risiko, dan strategi pencegahan demensia dan delirium. Peserta juga menunjukkan perubahan sikap yang lebih proaktif dalam mendeteksi dan merawat lansia dengan gangguan kognitif. Kesimpula dari kegiatan ini menegaskan pentingnya edukasi komunitas sebagai strategi preventif yang efektif. Direkomendasikan agar program serupa diintegrasikan ke dalam kegiatan rutin posyandu lansia dan didukung oleh lintas sektor, termasuk Tenaga Kesehatan, Universitas dan Pemerintah Daerah untuk memperkuat dampak berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Sisa minyak yang biasanya digunakan setelah menggoreng makanan sering disebut sebagai jelantah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selain memiliki dampak buruk bagi Kesehatan manusia, jelantah sangat berbahaya jika dibuang sembarangan ke lingkungan. Hal tersebut masih banyak terjadi di sekitar Masyarakat kita seperti yang terjadi Kelurahan Duren Jaya Kota Bekasi. Edukasi kepada Masyarakat dalam pengelolaan jelantah sebagai fundament menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih sehat. Metode yang dilakukan melalui konsultasi dan pelatihan pemanfaatan jelantah menjadi sabun.

Abstract

Community service represents one of the fundamental contributions of academics to social development, particularly in the educational sector. This article elaborates on the implementation of a community engagement program entitled Towards Smart Pesantren through Digital Transformation, conducted on May 28, 2025, at SMA Bi’rul Ulum Cisait, Serang, Banten. The initiative emerged from an inter-university collaboration aimed at enhancing the digital capacities of santri (Islamic boarding school students) to better prepare them for the challenges of the digital age. The program focused on training in graphic design, public speaking, an introduction to artificial intelligence (AI), and human resource development (HRD) in the digital context. Methods employed in the program included lectures, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice, allowing participants to gain both theoretical understanding and practical skills. The participatory approach fostered active engagement and created an enriching learning environment. Evaluation results indicated a high level of enthusiasm among the participants and a marked improvement in their grasp of fundamental digital competencies. This program exemplifies the strategic potential of inter-institutional academic collaboration in supporting the digital transformation of pesantren-based education in Indonesia. It is expected that the initiative can serve as a replicable and sustainable model for future community service efforts in similar educational contexts, particularly in promoting 21st-century skills.
