Abstract

This study investigates how strategic management and digital marketing integration creates sustainable competitive advantage in Indonesia's tourism industry. While digital technology adoption is widespread, the strategic alignment of digital initiatives with core business strategies remains underexamined in emerging economy tourism contexts. Employing an explanatory sequential mixed-methods design with 102 survey respondents and 18 industry experts, this research demonstrates that strategic-digital integration significantly influences customer engagement and business performance. Although 94% of businesses utilize digital marketing tools, only 62% fully integrate them with strategic objectives—revealing a critical implementation gap. The study extends Dynamic Capabilities Theory and Resource-Based View by conceptualizing "digital strategic fit" and "digital strategic resilience." Findings suggest competitive advantage emerges not from technology adoption alone, but from strategic reconfiguration aligning digital capabilities with organizational objectives.

Abstract

Consumer satisfaction is defined as a feeling of pleasure or disappointment that arises from a comparison between the performance of products and services received and prior expectations. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative method to examine the relationships and influences among variables. Primary data were collected through an online questionnaire using a Likert scale distributed to Shopee users. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software, preceded by validity and reliability tests as well as classical assumption tests, and followed by t-tests and an F-test. The results indicate that all research instruments are valid and reliable, and the regression model meets the assumptions of normality and absence of multicollinearity. Partially, both product quality and service quality have a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction. Simultaneously, product quality and service quality also have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. Furthermore, the findings reveal that service quality has a more dominant influence than product quality. These results suggest that improving product quality and, in particular, service quality is crucial for enhancing consumer satisfaction and creating a positive shopping experience on e-commerce platforms.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the influence of work environment, work motivation, and work discipline on employee performance at CV Sido Hidup Makmur in Kuningan, West Java. Using a quantitative approach with the survey method, data was collected from 80 respondents through saturated sampling techniques (census) and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS 4 software. The results of the structural model analysis showed that the work environment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a path coefficient of 0.380. Work motivation was found to be the most dominant factor with the highest path coefficient of 0.441, indicating that intrinsic and extrinsic motivation are the main keys in driving productivity. Work discipline also makes a significant positive contribution with a coefficient of 0.242 in maintaining operational order. Simultaneously, the three variables have a strong predictive ability on employee performance with an R-square value of 0.732, which means that the model is able to explain 73.2% of the variation in performance in the company. This research concludes that the synergy between creating a conducive environment, increasing motivation, and consistent discipline enforcement is an effective strategy to optimize the performance of human resources in the manufacturing industry.

Abstract

Employee performance is an important factor that determines the success of a business, including in the micro business sector such as Warung Nasi Jamblang Ibu Nur. To achieve optimal performance, support from various factors is needed, including compensation and work environment. These two factors play a role in shaping employee motivation, satisfaction, and productivity. The research method used is a quantitative method with a survey approach. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 30 respondents who were employees of Warung Nasi Jamblang Ibu Nur. The data analysis techniques used included validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, multicollinearity testing, heteroscedasticity testing, multiple linear regression analysis, t-testing, F-testing, and coefficient of determination (R²) analysis. The results showed that compensation and work environment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This means that the better the compensation provided and the more conducive the work environment created, the higher the performance produced by employees. Thus, management is expected to continue to pay attention to the compensation system and work environment conditions so that employee performance can continue to improve optimally. This study aims to strengthen empirical evidence that fair compensation and a conducive work environment can improve employee performance.

Abstract

This inquiry aims to evaluate the effect of Job Demands and Perceived Organizational Support (POS) on Employee Performance, with Employee Engagement serving as a mediating variable in the industrial manufacturing field. The research applies a quantitative associative approach using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM PLS). The target population consisted of 199 employees, whereas 133 respondents were determined using the Slovin formula at a 5% margin of error. Data were gathered using a structured questionnaire based on a five point Likert scale. The outcomes indicate that Perceived Organizational Support strengthens Employee Engagement and Employee Performance, while Job Demands diminish Employee Engagement together with Employee Performance. Furthermore, Employee Engagement demonstrates a significant favorable effect on Employee Performance. The mediating analysis verifies that Employee Engagement serves as an important connecting mechanism between Job Demands and Employee Performance, as well as between Perceived Organizational Support and Employee Performance. Addressing the limited empirical evidence in labor intensive and seasonal manufacturing contexts, this study extends the Job Demands Resources (JD R) framework by validating Employee Engagement as a key mediating channel and provides managerial guidance for balancing Job Demands and strengthening institutional support to enhance workforce productivity. The findings strengthen the Job Demands Resources (JD R) framework and emphasize the importance of harmonizing Job Demands with adequate organizational support to enhance Employee Engagement and performance achievements. The research further offers applicable recommendations for leaders in formulating human resource strategies intended to foster Employee Engagement and elevate organizational efficiency within manufacturing industries
