Abstract

Central Aceh is one of the districts in Aceh province. The capital city of Central Aceh is Takengon, which is a small town with cold weather located on one of the ridges of the Bukit Barisan mountains which lie along the island of Sumatra, Central Aceh district is located in the Gayo highlands. Other districts in this area are Bener Meriah district and Gayo Lues district. The service activities carried out in Kampung Pantan Nangka Village, Linge District, Central Aceh Regency consisted of preparation, socialization and introduction of cardamom pudding products, and training in making cardamom pudding. To get to know pudding, there was socialization and an introduction to the processing of cardamom into pudding, in the form of counseling which was attended by 25 participants. Pudding is one name for various desserts which are generally made from boiled ingredients. In general, pudding is grouped into wet foods which are usually served on certain occasions. Pudding is made from a mixture of gelatin powder, sugar and water. In processing, pudding can be combined with various other ingredients such as fruit, vegetables, milk, nuts, and so on. Pudding has a sweet taste with a soft texture so it is liked by everyone from children

Abstract

Desa kuta makmue berlokasi di Kecamatan Kuala Kabupaten Nagan Raya merupakan salah satu desa dengan potensi pertanian yang tinggi, dengan komoditas utamanya jeruk nipis. Selama ini komoditas jeruk nipis hanya dimanfaatkan sebagai hasil bumi yang dijual dalam kondisi segar oleh masyarakat setempat tanpa diolah. Oleh karenanya perlu pengembangan Agroindustri lebih lanjut untuk mengelola sumber daya yang ada. Upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat agar mampu secara mandiri memanfaatkan potensi daerahnya salah satunya dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengenai wirausaha dan teknologi tepat guna proses pembuatan sabun cuci piring dan sirup. Pendekatan yang diterapkan dalam merealisasikan program ini melalui metode participatory action research (PAR). Pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi kewirausaahan dan penciptaan produk turunan, demonstrasi langsung pembuatan sabun cuci piring dan sirup jeruk nipis, pengemasan, hingga pemasaran.  Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini dapat (1) meningkatkan motivasi usaha, kesadaran, pengetahuan dan ketrampilan masyarakat melalui penerapan teknologi tepat guna untuk mengolah komoditas lokal (jeruk nipis) menjadi produk sabun cuci piring dan sirup jeruk nipis, (2) mengenalkan kepada masyarakat mengenai peluang dan analisis kelayakan usaha sabun cuci piring dan sirup rumahan. dan mampu menggerakkan produk inovasi di Desa Kuta Makmue.

Abstract

Peatlands have significant potential for development in improving the yields of crop cultivation. Peat soil faces issues of nutrient deficiency and low pH, which pose challenges for cultivation. The application of agricultural lime to acidic soils can increase soil pH. This study aims to examine changes in peat soil pH through the application of various doses of Clam Shell Flour (TCL) as an alternative to lime. The research was conducted at the Teuku Umar University Experimental Field from March to May 2023. The study was designed using a Randomized Block Design with a Non-Factorial approach with 3 dose levels (0 ton/ha, 1 ton/ha, and 2 ton/ha) and consisted of 3 replications. The results of the ANOVA test for peat soil pH during the incubation of ameliorant materials used in this study over 5 weeks showed that Clam Shell Flour (TCL) had no significant effect on pH improvement. Fluctuating changes in peat soil pH were observed in each treatment every week. The lowest pH change range was found in the TCL0 treatment (TCL 0 ton/ha), while the highest was in the TCL1 treatment (TCL 1 ton/ha). Keywords: Peat, Liming, pH, Incubation, Clam Shell Flour

Abstract

Research on the analysis of the suitability of the durian agrotourism area will have a positive impact on the long-term plans of the local government and the community who are planning the Sarah Raya village area as the durian center of Aceh Jaya. This research was carried out in Sarah Raya Village, Pasie Raya District, Aceh Jaya Regency. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive, aimed at describing findings and measurement data in the field systematically, factually and comprehensively. This research examines the feasibility and suitability of land in Sarah Raya Village for cultivating durian plants as well as the potential and support for developing durian agrotourism areas in Sarah Raya Village. Indicators and field observation results show an annual average temperature of 26.1 °C in 2021-2022, relative humidity of 80% in 2022, Andosol soil type, altitude of 200-600 m above sea level, and rainfall of 3175.9 mm in 2021-2022, while Ph is in a neutral position of 5-7, the results of these measurements show that Sarah Raya Village is very suitable as a durian agro-tourism area, apart from that the potential and community support for the development of agro-tourism in Sarah Raya Village is very positive. This can be seen from the average response of 71% of respondents who gave a positive response to the development of agro-tourism areas.

Abstract

Cabai merupakan bumbu yang sangat disukai masyarakat, pengembangan cabai bertujuan meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman cabai guna memenuhi permintaan konsumen yang terus meningkat setiap tahun sejalan dengan meningkatnya jumlah penduduk dan berkembangnya industri yang membutuhkan bahan baku cabai.Saat ini cabai mengalami peningkatan harga, akibat dari cabai menurun. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan cabai di masyarakat, maka perlu dilakukan peningkatan produksi. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi tanaman cabai dengan tepat agar kesuburan tanah tetap terjaga, Pemupukan organik merupakan salah satu tindakan pemeliharaan tanaman yang utama untuk mendapatkan pertumbuhan yang optimal. Salah satunya pemanfaatan limbah tahu, Tujuannya yaitu sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada petani dalam edukasi tentang pupuk organik dari limbah tahu. Kegiatan ini akan dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan berupa pemaparan materi mengenai POC (pupuk organik cair) limbah tahu. Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan di balai desa bubon Kecamatan sama tiga Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Pertemuan ini dihadiri oleh Kepala Desa, petani cabai, dan Tim Pengabdi, Petani yang hadir berjumlah 20 orang yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan. pembuatan POC limbah tahu disosialisasikan dengan baik kepada masyarakat petani cabai desa bubon. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan dan pemahaman teknologi pengolahan POC limbah tahu menjadi pupuk organik dapat diserap (dikuasai) oleh para petani cabai.

Abstract

Pertanian berkelanjutan erat kaitannya dengan penerapan pengendalian hama terpadu (PHT) yang mengutamakan metode pengendalian hama ramah lingkungan, untuk mendukung kelestarian ekosistem serta keberlanjutan sektor pertanian. Peran pemerintah menjadi krusial dalam memfasilitasi, mengatur, dan mengimplementasikan pendekatan ramah lingkungan dalam pengelolaan hama, khususnya melalui kebijakan dan regulasi yang terintegrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau kebijakan serta regulasi terkait pengendalian hama di sektor pertanian Indonesia dan relevansinya dengan konsep keberlanjutan berdasarkan prinsip PHT. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah metode studi literatur dengan analisis terhadap regulasi nasional dan penelitian relevan dalam 10 tahun terakhir dalam pengelolaan hama berbasis lingkungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat sejumlah kebijakan yang mendukung PHT, implementasi di lapangan masih menghadapi tantangan seperti kurangnya kesadaran petani, serta masih ditemukannya pestisida terdaftar yang tergolong berbahaya. Regulasi yang ada perlu diperbarui untuk mengakomodasi inovasi baru dalam teknologi ramah lingkungan atau lebih adaptif terhadap tantangan terkini di sektor pertanian, meningkatkan pengawasan terutama terhadap pestisida berbahaya, serta menguatkan kerja sama antara pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan, dan masyarakat.
