Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah berdampak signifikan pada berbagai bidang, termasuk dalam mempercepat proses kerja dan distribusi informasi. Di Unit ARFF Bandara Soekarno-Hatta, pengecekan peralatan pendukung kendaraan utama Foam Tender masih dilakukan secara manual, yang menimbulkan hambatan seperti pemborosan waktu, potensi kesalahan pencatatan, dan keterbatasan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kebutuhan digitalisasi dalam proses pengecekan tersebut melalui sistem berbasis website. Fokus utamanya adalah analisis kebutuhan, manfaat potensial, serta dampak digitalisasi terhadap efektivitas dan efisiensi operasional, bukan pada pembuatan sistem. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata kebutuhan sistem digital sebesar 4,00–4,10, menandakan personel ARFF sangat membutuhkan sistem pengecekan berbasis website untuk meningkatkan efisiensi kerja, akurasi pencatatan, akses mobile, serta dokumentasi dan riwayat pemeriksaan yang rapi.. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan gambaran urgensi digitalisasi dan bentuk sistem yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan operasional Unit ARFF Bandara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta.

Abstract

This study aims to design a physical training program based on the FITT principle (Frequency, Intensity, Time, Type) to improve the physical fitness of ARFF (Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting) personnel at Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang. The research employed a level 1 Research and Development (R&D) method, focusing on product design without field trials. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis during On the Job Training (OJT) at the research site. The findings revealed that ARFF personnel lacked a structured physical training program, as well as motivation and guidance for consistent exercise. The designed training program refers to the FITT principle and is tailored according to age groups and the personnel's fitness levels. It includes cardiovascular exercises, muscular strength training, and flexibility routines scheduled over five training days per week. The program was validated by a sports expert using an evaluation checklist and was deemed suitable for implementation in the ARFF work environment. The implementation of this program is expected to enhance the physical fitness of ARFF personnel and support their preparedness and performance in handling emergency situations at the airport.

Abstract

Concern for occupational health and safety is important in the activity of an institution, including education, which has potential dangers and risks related to health and safety of all individuals in institutional environment. Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic Curug is an educational institution with various health and safety risks but currently does not have an integrated emergency response plan document at the institutional level. This research aims to prepare an emergency response plan document as a reference for handling emergencies, including emergency response procedures and all possible emergencies. The method used is Research and Development. This research began with the stages of identifying potential incidents, drafting an emergency response plan, carrying out validation, product trials through tabletop exercises, usage trials through full simulation, and mass production. The research results show that emergency response plan document can improve emergency teams' readiness and coordination. Evaluation of product trials resulted in average score above 80%, indicating high effectiveness in aspects of command, communication, and coordination between teams. The full simulation results that emergency response plan clarifies the roles and responsibilities of the emergency response team, even though there are challenges in the internal communication system that require the provision of communication facilities for each team. This institutional level emergency response plan product can be a comprehensive, easy to understand, and structured guide because it provides instructions on how to act in various emergency scenarios. Future research can analyze other aspects of occupational safety and health, such as psychological and social of emergency response teams.

Abstract

Penelitian atau artikel terdahulu dapat dijadikan dasar dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah yang berkaitan selanjutnya. Dalam memperkuat teori dan penomena pengaruh atau hubungan antar variable, dapat dilakukan sebuah literature review dari penelitian atau artikel yang relevan sebelumnya. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi Kinerja Air Traffic Controller, akan dibahas pada artikel ini yaitu Beban Kerja, Stres Kerja dan Pelatihan. Hasil dari penulisan artikel ini yaitu untuk merumuskan proposisi interaksi antar faktor yang berguna untuk penelitian berikutnya. Hasil dari tinjauan pustaka terkait faktor-faktor Kinerja Air Traffic Controller antara lain: 1) Beban Kerja mempengaruhi Kinerja Air Traffic Controller; 2) Stres Kerja mempengaruhi Kinerja Air Traffic Controller; dan 3) Pelatihan mempengaruhi Kinerja Air Traffic Controller.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan intelektual (X1), kecerdasan emosi (X2) dan kecerdasan spiritual (X3) terhadap kepemimpinan transformasional (Y). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yaitu dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa studi literatur tentang pengaruh kecerdasan intelektual (IQ), kecerdasan emosional (EQ), dan kecerdasan spiritual (SQ) terhadap kepemimpinan transformasional. Abstract

Abstract: Air transportation plays a vital role in national connectivity, especially in Indonesia as an archipelagic country. However, increased flight traffic poses new operational challenges at airports, particularly flight delays. This study aims to analyze the effect of effective apron capacity on flight delays at Kualanamu International Airport in Deli Serdang. The approach used is quantitative with a simple linear regression method. Effective apron capacity is calculated by subtracting reduction factors such as the presence of RON (Remain Over Night) aircraft, blocked areas, and conflicts with large aircraft maneuvers from the installed capacity. Data was obtained from aircraft movements between November 2024 and January 2025. The results of the study indicate a significant influence between effective apron capacity and the accumulation of departure delay minutes, particularly during peak morning hours. These findings contribute to apron operational management and serve as a basis for more effective delay mitigation at the airport.Keyword: apron capacity, delays, airport management, RON, aircraft movementsAbstrak: Transportasi udara memainkan peran vital dalam konektivitas nasional, khususnya di Indonesia sebagai negara kepulauan. Namun, peningkatan trafik penerbangan menimbulkan tantangan operasional baru di bandara, terutama keterlambatan pergerakan pesawat (flight delay). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kapasitas efektif apron terhadap keterlambatan pesawat di Bandara Internasional Kualanamu Deli Serdang. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode regresi linier sederhana. Kapasitas efektif apron dihitung dari kapasitas terpasang dikurangi faktor reduksi seperti keberadaan pesawat RON (Remain Over Night), area terblokir, dan konflik manuver pesawat berbadan besar. Data diperoleh dari pergerakan pesawat selama November 2024 hingga Januari 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kapasitas efektif apron terhadap akumulasi menit keterlambatan keberangkatan, terutama pada jam-jam sibuk pagi hari. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengelolaan operasional apron dan menjadi dasar dalam mitigasi delay yang lebih efektif di bandara.Kata kunci: kapasitas apron, keterlambatan, manajemen bandara, RON, pergerakan pesawat

Abstract

Abstract: Bird strike is a serious threat to aviation safety, especially at airports that are close to bird habitats. Makassar Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport, with its strategic location, requires effective bird strike management. This study aims to analyze the factors that cause bird strikes, evaluate the effectiveness of existing handling efforts, and provide recommendations to improve flight safety. This study aims to analyze the handling of bird strikes to improve flight safety at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport, Makassar. This research will examine the factors that cause bird strikes, evaluate the effectiveness of existing handling efforts, and recommend solutions to reduce the risk of bird strikes. This research will use mixed-methods, which is a combination of qualitative approaches. Qualitative data will be obtained through interviews with airport personnel and other related parties. The results show that bird strike handling at airports has not been fully effective and faces various obstacles. The results show that although handling efforts are carried out, such as the use of bird repellents and wildlife management, there are still gaps in their effectiveness. The obstacles include limited facilities and equipment, lack of coordination between agencies, and lack of understanding and awareness of the importance of handling bird strikes. This research is expected to provide a deeper understanding of bird strikes at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar.Keyword: Bird Control, Bird Strike Prevention, Airport Maintenance, Aviation Safety Regulations, Bird Strike AnalysisAbstrak: Bird strike merupakan ancaman serius bagi keselamatan penerbangan, terutama di bandar udara yang berdekatan dengan habitat burung. Bandar Udara Internasional Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar, dengan lokasinya yang strategis, memerlukan penanganan bird strike yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor penyebab bird strike, mengevaluasi efektivitas upaya penanganan yang sudah ada, dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan keselamatan penerbangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penanganan bird strike guna meningkatkan keselamatan penerbangan di Bandar Udara Internasional Sultan Hasanuddin, Makassar. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji faktor-faktor penyebab bird strike, mengevaluasi efektivitas upaya penanganan yang sudah ada, dan merekomendasikan solusi untuk mengurangi risiko bird strike. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan metode campuran (mixed-methods), yaitu kombinasi pendekatan kualitatif. Data kualitatif akan diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan personel bandara dan pihak terkait lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penanganan bird strike di bandar udara belum sepenuhnya efektif dan menghadapi berbagai kendala. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun upaya penanganan dilakukan, seperti penggunaan alat pengusir burung dan manajemen satwa liar, masih terdapat celah dalam efektivitasnya. Kendala yang dihadapi antara lain keterbatasan fasilitas dan peralatan, kurangnya koordinasi antarinstansi, serta kurangnya pemahaman dan kesadaran akan pentingnya penanganan bird strike. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai bird strike di Bandar Udara Internasional Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar.Kata kunci: Pengendalian Burung, Pencegahan Bird Strike, Pemeliharaan Bandara, Peraturan Keselamatan Penerbangan, Analisis Bird Strike

Abstract

Abstract: Air cargo plays a vital role in supporting the fast, efficient, and high-value distribution of goods, especially with the rise of e-commerce, export-import activities, and the growth of Indonesias logistics industry. Fatmawati Soekarno Airport in Bengkulu holds significant potential in this sector; however, the market share controlled by Injournay Aviation Services (IAS) remains relatively low despite offering competitive rates. This study aims to analyze the factors behind the low market penetration of IAS, formulate business strategies to enhance its competitiveness, and evaluate effective marketing approaches to attract more potential customers. A qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach was used, involving interviews with service users and airport management, direct observations at the cargo terminal, and supporting documentation. The findings reveal that limited promotion, suboptimal digitalization, and lack of strategic partnerships are key challenges. Recommended strategies include strengthening Business to Customer (B2C) and Business to Business (B2B) approaches, as well as establishing a dedicated business development (sales and marketing) division. This research offers practical insights for airport operators and cargo companies. Future studies are encouraged to explore logistics system digitalization and the impact of multi-stakeholder collaboration on efficiency and air cargo business growth.Keyword: Aviation; Cargo; Business Strategy.Abstrak: Kargo udara memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung distribusi barang secara cepat dan bernilai tinggi, terutama dengan meningkatnya e-commerce, ekspor-impor, dan perkembangan industri logistik di Indonesia. Bandara Fatmawati Soekarno Bengkulu menyimpan potensi besar di sektor ini, namun penguasaan pasar oleh Injournay Aviation Services (IAS) masih rendah meskipun tarifnya kompetitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penyebab rendahnya pangsa pasar IAS, merumuskan strategi peningkatan daya saing, serta mengevaluasi pendekatan pemasaran yang efektif. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minimnya promosi, belum optimalnya digitalisasi, serta keterbatasan kerja sama dengan mitra eksternal menjadi kendala utama. Strategi yang direkomendasikan mencakup penguatan pendekatan Business to Customer (B2C), pengembangan Business to Business (B2B), dan pembentukan divisi pengembangan bisnis dalam struktur organisasi. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi masukan strategis bagi pengelola bandara dan perusahaan kargo. Penelitian lanjutan disarankan untuk menggali potensi digitalisasi sistem logistik dan peran kolaborasi multipihak dalam mendukung efisiensi serta pertumbuhan sektor kargo udara secara berkelanjutan.Kata kunci: Penerbangan; Kargo; Strategi Bisnis.

Abstract

TNI Angkatan Udara memainkan peran sentral dalam menjamin keselamatan dan efisiensi operasi penerbangan militer. Kompetensi mereka harus mencakup pemahaman terhadap aerodrome darat maupun water-based aerodrome, terutama dalam konteks geografis Indonesia yang tersusun dari ribuan pulau dan perairan. Kesenjangan kompetensi personil ATC TNI-AU dalam pengelolaan aerodrome berbasis darat maupun perairan menjadi perhatian yang penting dalam peningkatan keselamatan di Bandar Udara perairan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan dan pemahaman personel Air Traffic Controller (ATC) dari TNI Angkatan Udara mengenai aerodrome dan water-based aerodrome. Kegiatan diselenggarakan secara luring (tatap muka) selama dua hari di Lokasi Akademi Angkatan Udara (AAU), dengan metode ceramah, diskusi interaktif, serta studi kasus yang dipandu oleh narasumber dari PPI Curug. Materi yang disampaikan mengacu pada regulasi dari ICAO dan peraturan nasional terkait manajemen dan operasi aerodrome, khususnya dalam konteks militer dan sipil. Evaluasi program dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket di akhir sesi pelatihan yang mengukur kepuasan peserta terhadap isi materi, penyampaian, relevansi, dan manfaat kegiatan. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi teknis peserta serta memperkuat sinergi antara dunia pendidikan penerbangan dan institusi pertahanan. Pelatihan ini dapat menjadi model bagi pelatihan lanjutan dalam mendukung keselamatan dan efisiensi pengelolaan ruang udara nasional.

Abstract

The handover–takeover (HOTO) process in Air Traffic Control (ATC) operations is a critically important transition point for safety, particularly concerning the risk of loss of separation between aircraft. This study conducts a critical analysis of the principles, rotation patterns, human factors, and technical constraints that influence the effectiveness of information transfer and situational awareness during HOTO. By using a literature-based study method drawing from SKYbrary sources, incident reports, and aviation safety references, this research found that imperfections in the HOTO process, such as inadequate overlap time, incomplete communication, social distractions, and equipment adjustment errors, can increase the probability of traffic conflicts. The findings indicate that HOTO is one of the weak links in the ATC safety system, requiring reinforcement in procedural aspects, supporting technology, rotation design, and safety culture. Mitigation recommendations are aimed at improving procedure standardization, implementing stricter checklists, situational awareness training, and supervisor oversight in complex traffic conditions.
