Abstract

Penerapan kurikulum berbasis Outcome-Based Education (OBE) pada Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab merupakan upaya untuk menyiapkan lulusan yang memiliki keterampilan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kurikulum OBE di program studi tersebut, dengan fokus pada keterampilan yang mendukung kesiapan kerja, seperti kemampuan berpikir kritis, komunikasi efektif, kolaborasi, dan kreativitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kurikulum OBE telah meningkatkan relevansi pembelajaran dengan tuntutan dunia kerja, namun masih dihadapkan pada tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan perluasan kolaborasi dengan pihak eksternal. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum OBE efektif dalam membekali mahasiswa dengan keterampilan praktis yang dibutuhkan dalam Industri 5.0, sekaligus mengembangkan potensi akademik dan profesional mereka. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi institusi pendidikan lain dalam menerapkan kurikulum OBE, khususnya pada program studi pendidikan bahasa Arab.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of ijtihad in the science of nahwu according to the view of Amin Al-Khuli, who emphasizes the need for nahwu reform to be more relevant to the needs of modern times. This study uses a textual analysis method of the work of Amin Al-Khuli Manahij Tajdid fi al-Nahwi wa al-Balaghah wa al-Tafsir wa al-Adab accompanied by a comparative study between classical Arabic linguistic theory and modern linguistic theory. The main findings in the study show that ijtihad in nahwu offers flexibility in grammar rules, so that the Arabic fusha language can remain relevant without neglecting its authenticity. In addition, although Al-Khuli emphasizes the importance of fusha as a symbol of cultural identity, there is a need to integrate the functions of local dialects in everyday communication. The implications of this study highlight the urgency of a holistic language policy to maintain the relevance of fusha in the modern social context, as well as encourage critical thinking in the development of Arabic grammar (nahwu) that is adaptive to the development of the times. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep ijtihad dalam ilmu nahwu menurut pandangan Amin Al-Khuli, yang menekankan perlunya reformasi nahwu agar lebih relevan dengan kebutuhan zaman modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis tekstual terhadap karya Amin Al-Khuli Manahij Tajdid fi al-Nahwi wa al-Balaghah wa al-Tafsir wa al-Adab yang disertai dengan kajian komparatif antara teori linguistik Arab klasik dan teori linguistik modern. Temuan utama dalam penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ijtihad dalam nahwu menawarkan fleksibilitas kaidah tata bahasa, sehingga bahasa Arab fusha dapat tetap relevan tanpa mengabaikan keasliannya. Selain itu, meskipun Al-Khuli menekankan pentingnya fusha sebagai simbol identitas budaya, ada kebutuhan untuk mengintegrasikan fungsi dialek lokal dalam komunikasi sehari-hari. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menyoroti urgensi kebijakan bahasa yang holistik untuk menjaga relevansi fusha dalam konteks sosial modern, sekaligus mendorong pemikiran kritis dalam pengembangan ilmu tata bahasa Arab (nahwu) yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan zaman.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research to determine the urgency of the Arabic language, its objectives, materials, and learning methods for beginner parents at the Nurul Amin mosque Pandau Jaya, Riau. and also this research is a quantitative research to determine the effect of the Applicative Language Teaching method on the learning outcomes of Nahwu for beginner parents in the same place with different professions. the researchers used interviews and written tests to collect data. and they carry out selection, classification, and draw conclusions to analyze qualitative data. and they also carried out normality tests and t tests using the SPSS 25 application to analyze quantitative data. The results of the research are as follows: (1) Arabic has a very important position for every Muslim so that it is considered that this language is his identity. so they should know the urgency, objectives, basic materials, and various learning methods. and the method that is suitable for beginners is the Applicative Language Teaching method. (2) in terms of the normality test, it is known that the pre-test average is 0.130 and the post-test average is 0.594, which is greater than 0.05, so both data are normally distributed. and in terms of the t test, it is known that the calculated t value of 4.403 is greater than the t table of 2.306 and the Sig value. 2 tailed 0.03 is smaller than 0.05, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, namely the Applicative language teaching method has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of Nahwu science for beginners.

Abstract

Variasi atau ragam bahasa merupakan bahasan pokok dalam studi sosiolinguistik. Kridalaksana (1974) mendefinisikan sosiolinguistik sebagai cabang linguistik yang berusaha menjelaskan ciri-ciri variasi bahasa dan menetapkan korelasi ciri-ciri variasi bahasa tersebut dengan ciri-ciri sosial kemasyarakatan. Dilihat dari variasi dari segi penutur terdapat empat variasi bahasa yaitu (1) idiolek (2) dialek (3) kronolek dan (4) sosiolek. Kronolek merupakan variasi bahasa yang digunakan sekelompok sosial pada masa tertentu. Misalnya variasi bahasa Indonesia pada masa tahun tiga puluhan, variasi bahasa tahun lima puluhan dan variasi bahasa masa sekarang. Dalam artikel ini penulis akan mengkaji secara khusus variasi bahasa kronolek dalam perspektif sosiolinguistik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyusunan artikel ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa variasi bahasa yang digunakan kelompok tertentu akan terus berubah seiring dengan perkembangan zaman yang diikuti kecanggihan teknologi.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the Local Content Curriculum of Arabic-Malay Script in Improving Literacy Through Local Wisdom at the Nurul Iman Seberang Islamic School in Jambi City. The research method used by the researcher is a descriptive qualitative approach, data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation conducted at the Nurul Iman Seberang Madrasah in Jambi City. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Local Content Curriculum of Arabic-Malay Script in the Arabic-Malay subject taught from grade VII to grade IX, the learning resources or reference books used are in the form of books provided by the school. The challenges in implementing the implementation of this local content curriculum are students who come from general educational backgrounds and are not yet familiar with the hijaiyah letters. The efforts made are in learning, teachers carry out special learning with a coaching system for students who find it difficult to learn Arabic-Malay Script.

Abstract

With the growing interest in teaching Arabic to non-native, Chinese-speaking children—particularly in contexts related to religious and cultural identity—there is a critical need to evaluate innovative educational programs that address linguistic and cultural challenges. This study examines the effectiveness of the "Read with Miley" program in developing Arabic reading skills for this demographic, focusing on teachers' perspectives. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research combined a closed-ended questionnaire to gauge general perceptions with in-depth interviews to explore specific challenges and opportunities. The study sample consisted of five teachers who had fully and repeatedly implemented the program. Results indicated that the program successfully enhanced foundational skills, such as letter recognition and vowel reading, with strong approval for core materials, including the textbook. However, limitations were observed in using interactive digital tools, which hindered student engagement. Interviews revealed systemic and organizational challenges, highlighting the need for intensive teacher training on modern technologies and age-based class restructuring to optimize individualized interaction. Key recommendations include integrating AI-driven educational activities, fostering collaborations with digital design experts, and adopting flexible methodologies to accommodate learners’ linguistic and cultural diversity. These findings provide a practical framework for policymakers to refine Arabic language programs in non-Arabic-speaking environments.

Abstract

Fenomena menurunnya kepedulian sosial, melemahnya semangat kolaborasi, serta meningkatnya pengaruh negatif media digital yang tidak sejalan dengan norma budaya lokal menjadi tantangan serius di Desa Malapari. Permasalahan ini terutama disebabkan belum terintegrasinya nilai-nilai kearifan lokal ke dalam sistem pendidikan formal maupun nonformal. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal dalam pendidikan karakter guna meningkatkan kapasitas guru, tokoh adat, dan pemuda sekaligus memperkuat ekosistem gotong royong sebagai strategi preventif terhadap dekadensi moral generasi muda. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan utama, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan pelaporan, dengan melibatkan 30 peserta yang terdiri atas guru, tokoh adat, perangkat desa, pemuda, dan orang tua. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan observasi partisipatif untuk menilai keterlibatan dan perubahan perilaku sosial peserta dalam konteks pembelajaran berbasis budaya. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai kearifan lokal mampu meningkatkan pemahaman guru hingga 27%, memperkuat kesadaran kolektif masyarakat, serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif pemuda dalam menghasilkan konten digital kreatif berbasis budaya. Kebaruan dari program ini terletak pada pola kolaborasi lintas elemen masyarakat yang berhasil menghadirkan model implementasi pendidikan karakter berbasis kearifan lokal secara aplikatif dan berpotensi direplikasi di wilayah lain. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan solusi praktis atas lemahnya internalisasi nilai budaya pada remaja, tetapi juga menawarkan kontribusi ilmiah yang relevan dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter di tengah tantangan globalisasi dan arus media digital.

Abstract

When Western culture developed with its knowledge and reasoning, many Easterners studied in the West, including Muslims. so that the emergence of Islamic thinkers signaled an epistemological break in the epistemological system of Islamic sciences. The epistemological break has marked and impacted on a paradigm shift in the realm of Islamic thought. The epistemological disconnection in thinking for Arab-Islamic thinkers who explore the development of Western knowledge makes one of the contemporary Arab-Islamic thinkers 'Abid al-Jabiri to create a structure of thinking reason with a deconstructive approach. The reasoning structure consists of bayani, irfani, and burhani reasoning. bayani is the ability of reason to articulate knowledge through signs or symbols into a meaning. 'irfani is the reason to gain knowledge through bathiniyah exercises as often practiced by a Sufi. While burhani is the rationalist reasoning to decide something using the deduction method (istintaj).

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the education management of the Gontor 10 Islamic Boarding School in Saba' as a consideration for the proposal to establish the Student Islamic Boarding School of the Center for Islamic Studies, Jambi University. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with a field research approach and literature study. Primary data were obtained through observation and interviews, while secondary data was in the form of a SWOT analysis to evaluate the advantages, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges in the education management of Gontor 10 Islamic Boarding School. The population of this study was Pondok Pesantren Gontor 10 Saba', with a research sample consisting of the head of the Islamic boarding school caregivers, teachers (ustadz), administrators, and students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis to describe questionnaire and interview data findings. The results showed that the education management of Gontor 10 Islamic Boarding School has advantages in maintaining the values of modern boarding schools and improving the quality of education and teaching. However, there are weaknesses, especially in the availability of facilities and infrastructure and funding independence. Therefore, it is recommended that investment in the construction of facilities and infrastructure be increased, as well as diversification of funding sources to ensure the sustainability of superior programs.
