Abstract

Competition in the television industry allows a company to take long steps forward in a society saturated with the current situation. Various studies show that ANTV's strategy to buy many programs in Indian drama series in Indonesia has been exceeded; the India program screening strategy at ANTV itself is a form of adaptation of ANTV's strategy in dealing with the convergence and growth of the industry, especially the internet. This study uses qualitative methods with media political-economic theory specific to commodifying content. The primary data was obtained through observation, and secondary data were obtained through interviews. As a result, the commodification of the content carried out by ANTV TV stations was by displaying Indian program content that was very much in percentage so that it indoctrinated the audience to overindulge India & Türkiye culture from films, actresses, arts and culture finally eroded local culture due to the many hours of India &Türkiye import program broadcast on ANTV.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the application of a humanistic approach in school leadership, which impacts human resources development in the digitalization era. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. They collect data through participant observation, interviews, and documentation studies to achieve research objectives. A modified analytic analysis method was used to analyze the data. The level of credibility, dependability, transferability, and confirmability are the basis for data validity. The results of the study explain that personal excellence (integrity, wholeness, and self-authenticity) and the humanistic spirituality of inspirational figures inspire the humanistic approach of school principals. The results of this research empirically provide new hope for teachers, staff, students, and parents of students at the elementary level by applying a humanistic approach to school principals in the digital era. This finding has implications, where through a humanistic approach, school principals are more open to appreciating participation and view teachers, employees, and parents as human beings who have equality in building cooperation. Thus, through the humanistic approach of the school principal, the school environment becomes a place for empowering learning and the formation of human values that need to be upheld.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the parties involved in innovation program and their interests, identifies the parties who benefit and lose, and determine the sustainability of the development of Mina Wisata Technopark Sleman. This research used qualitative methods with Foucaultian’s framework of the genealogy of power or knowledge. The construction of the dynamics of relations and power relations can be seen from the discourse on the power of the actors involved in the management, such as the central and local governments as planners at the executive and driving levels; the company as the main key in the tourism industry; local communities in the development area as program objects; as well as the Lurah and the Village Apparatus as implementation and supervisors of development. The dynamics of developing a mina wisata technopark resulted in the construction that the existence of a management agency was the result of communicative action through a long dialogue process. So, that power or authority can side with the weakest parties to build productive spaces and their networks in order to improve their welfare. Mina wisata technopark must be developed through the active role of the community in making development decisions in an open, democratic, and responsible manner (bottom up planning), trought synergy with all stakeholders.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between hedonic lifestyle and consumptive behavior in adolescent e-commerce users. This study proposes a hypothesis that there is a positive relationship between hedonic lifestyle and consumptive behavior in adolescent e-commerce users. The subjects in this study were 116 adolescents with an age range of 17-22 years. The data collection method used in this study is to use the Consumptive Behavior Scale and the Hedonic Lifestyle Scale. The data analysis technique used is using product moment correlation. Based on the results of data analysis, the correlation coefficient (rxy) = 0.800 with p = 0.000 (p < 0.001) shows that the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted, namely there is a positive correlation between hedonic lifestyle and consumptive behavior in adolescent e-commerce users. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.639 so it can be said that the hedonic lifestyle contributes 63.9% to consumptive behavior and the remaining 36.1% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Pentagon-Shaped Ethical Measurement framework based on Maqasid Shariah to assess organizational performance. The research employs a systematic literature review approach, analyzing scholarly works related to Maqasid Shariah and organizational performance. The study identifies relevant research from 2015 to 2024 using databases such as Scopus. The study finds that Maqasid Shariah is a comprehensive ethical framework for evaluating organizational performance. The findings suggest that integrating Maqasid Shariah into performance measurement enhances organizational credibility, corporate governance, and long-term sustainability. This study provides a Pentagon-Shaped Ethical Measurement framework based on Maqasid Shariah for evaluating organizational performance. Unlike previous research that mainly focuses on financial performance. Organizations can utilize Maqasid Shariah principles to develop a more balanced and sustainable performance assessment model. The study highlights the role of Maqasid Shariah in promoting social welfare, economic justice, and ethical business practices. Adopting a multidimensional performance framework contributes to long-term economic sustainability, fair wealth distribution, and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) hubungan antara perceived organizational support dengan organizational citizenship behavior pada karyawan; 2) hubungan antara work engagement dengan organizational citizenship behavior pada karyawan; 3) hubungan antara perceived organizational support dan work engagement dengan organizational citizenship behavior pada karyawan. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 70 orang karyawan. Metode untuk pengumpulan data penelitian adalah menggunakan metode skala, yaitu menggunakan skala modifikasi OCBS (Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale), SPOS (Survey Perceived Organizational Support) dan UWES (Utrecht Work Engagement Scale). Analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dan berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara perceived organizational support dengan organizational citizenship behavior pada karyawan, dengan nilai korelasi positif sebesar 0,453 dan nilai p sebesar 0,000 (p<0,01); 2) ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara work engagement dengan organizational citizenship behavior pada karyawan, dengan nilai korelasi positif sebesar 0,210 dan nilai p sebesar 0,000 (p<0,01) ); 3) ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara perceived organizational support dan work engagement dengan organizational citizenship behavior pada karyawan, dengan nilai korelasi positif sebesar 0,468 dan nilai p sebesar 0,000 (p<0,01).

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between self-esteem and nomophobia, an overreliance on smartphones that can impact psychological well-being, among university students in Yogyakarta. With 100 respondents from various universities, the research examines whether higher self-esteem is associated with lower levels of nomophobia. Data were collected through a 34-item self-esteem scale and a 20-item nomophobia scale. Analytical methods included descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. Results showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a correlation of -0.878, indicating a strong negative relationship between self-esteem and nomophobia. Students with higher self-esteem exhibited lower dependency on smartphones, suggesting they are more inclined to engage in face-to-face interactions and are less reliant on digital communication.

Abstract

Purpose – This research aims to find out the needs of employees or human resources at PT PLN UIP Tanjung Jati B Jepara based on the WISN method and find solutions to problems related to employees or human resources from WISN calculations.  Methodology – The workload calculation method at PT PLN UIP Tanjung Jati B uses the WISN (Workload Indicator Staffing Need) workload calculation. Calculations using WISN are easy to do with validity and reliability that have been measured valid and reliable. Originality – This study analyzed human resource needs at one of the large state-owned companies, namely PT PLN Tanjung Jati B Jepara, which was carried out to improve excellent service to the company. Findings and Discussion – The workload using the WISN method, PT PLN UIP Tanjung Jati B Jepara, has a workforce of 81 people. The total number of gaps from the WISN calculation results is 20 people or less than 20 staff. Conclusion – Utilizing the WISN method at PT PLN UIP Tanjung Jati B Jepara highlighted a workforce gap of 20 employees in a total staff of 81. Addressing this gap is essential for optimizing operational efficiency and enhancing service quality. This study underscores the importance of strategic human resource planning to meet organizational demands, ensuring continued success and service excellence at PT PLN Tanjung Jati B Jepara.
