Abstract

The research aims to develop an Android-based learning media. The stages of the research are analysis, implementation, and evaluation. The participants of the research were students at West Kalimantan Vocational High School. The research method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE approach. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were students of class X AK 1 and X AK 2 at Vocational High School West Kalimantan, totaling 56 students, for a small-scale trial taken 5 students from X AK 1 and 5 students from X AK 2. Research instrument was using a questionnaire with a scale. Research results based on research statements and the development of Android-based learning media with App Inventor on word processing software, it can be concluded that to make applications with App Inventor software it is not enough to just use a browser application. the development of learning media using the App Inventor media after validation with two media experts is very feasible to use and by using this application the teaching and learning process run very independently and make it easier for students to understand the learning material

Abstract

This study examined the utilization of school-based management (SBM) principles to enhance the quality of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) and the implementation of the school-based management concept to improve the quality of MTs. Its purpose is to This study employs a qualitative research methodology utilizing a case study approach. The data collection process involved the utilization of observational techniques, interviews, and films. The acquired data is evaluated using data reduction techniques and then displayed in tables to establish themes that are connected to the current theoretical frameworks. Furthermore, the autonomy of MTs in terms of meeting facilities and the availability of infrastructure is commendable. Subsequently, MTs engaged in collaboration with a diverse range of domestic and international players. Furthermore, the participation of stakeholders in school administration is apparent in the provision of funds, facilities, and support for the implementation of the work program at MTs. The madrasah demonstrates transparency by its open communication of information via congregational activities, MTs bulletin boards, and websites. This study suggests that school leaders should familiarize all stakeholders with the concept of school-based management in order to ensure that they all have a strong sense of responsibility for their particular jobs, with the goal of enhancing the quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate students' challenges in learning grammar using the task repetition approach in collaborative writing and video-based tasks. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with second semester students at an Islamic higher education institution in Southeast Sulawesi and then analysed using thematic analysis. The findings revealed that most participants had both positive and negative experiences. However, this study emphasises the number of challenges that students face when repeating assignments. The main challenges are categorized into two main areas: task performance and collaboration. The findings underline the importance of understanding and addressing these negative experiences in order to design effective interventions to support students in online collaborative learning environments. It also provides valuable insights for educators aiming to improve teaching strategies and students' collaborative task performance.   Keywords: Task repetition; students’ challenges, learning Grammar

Abstract

Pemahaman tentang hakikat manusia merupakan fondasi utama dalam pendidikan agama Islam. Dalam ajaran Islam, manusia dipandang sebagai makhluk ciptaan Allah yang memiliki tujuan hidup mulia, yakni beribadah dan menyeimbangkan kehidupan dunia dan akhirat. Pendidikan agama Islam tidak hanya mentransmisikan pengetahuan, tetapi juga membentuk karakter, moral, dan akhlak berdasarkan nilai-nilai Islam. Artikel ini menyoroti pentingnya filsafat pendidikan Islam dalam merespons tantangan zaman modern, seperti kemajuan teknologi dan pergeseran nilai-nilai spiritual. Filsafat ini menempatkan manusia sebagai makhluk multidimensional, mencakup aspek fisik, intelektual, dan spiritual. Dengan pemahaman yang menyeluruh tentang hakikat manusia, pendidikan agama Islam diharapkan mampu melahirkan individu yang tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual, tetapi juga memiliki integritas moral dan spiritual yang kuat. Tujuan akhir pendidikan ini adalah memanusiakan manusia secara utuh sesuai ajaran Islam, sehingga mampu beribadah kepada Allah dengan sadar dan beretika dalam kehidupan sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the adaptation of government education policies from the pandemic period in Southeast Sulawesi, which are relevant to the current Regional Development Plan. The focus of this study is on policy implementation, challenges in learning access, and the solutions implemented. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with primary data collected through in-depth interviews with key stakeholders in the education sector, including government officials, teachers, principals, educational staff, and students. Secondary data was gathered by examining government policy documents, learning guides, and associated reports. The results suggest that the implementation of learning policies in schools has not achieved complete congruence with national policy regulations. In response, various forms of policy adaptation are implemented at the school level, including modifications to learning strategies and increased parental involvement, which reflect the initiatives of local governments and schools aimed at meeting educational needs. A persistent challenge that has emerged as a primary concern in the execution of regional educational policies concerns the equitable provision of educational opportunities to all students.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Ramah Anak (PRA) telah muncul sebagai salah satu wadah untuk mewujudkan tujuan humanistik pendidikan Islam, khususnya dalam proses mendidik dan mengasuh anak didik. Pendidikan dan pengasuhan yang tepat dan benar sangat menentukan kualitas individu yang tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual tetapi juga memiliki sikap dan perilaku yang luhur. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model perlindungan anak dari kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh Pesantren IMMIM dan Pesantren Nahdlatul 'Ulum Makassar dari perspektif Pendidikan Islam. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan, dan data diperoleh melalui observasi komprehensif, wawancara mendalam, studi literatur, dan triangulasi. Selanjutnya dilakukan wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, guru, wali thalib (pembina), dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kedua pesantren telah menerapkan model perlindungan anak melalui berbagai cara, seperti pengasuhan dan pendampingan (kemusyrifan), kurikulum dan proses pembelajaran, sarana dan prasarana, pelayanan publik, regulasi, dan penanganan masalah. Meskipun pelaksanaan program Pesantren Ramah Anak di Pondok Pesantren IMMIM dan Nahdlatul 'Ulum berhasil, namun belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan pedoman. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi untuk pengembangan model Pondok Pesantren Ramah Anak

Abstract

Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pustaka yang menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dokumentasi terhadap buku, jurnal, dan makalah. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis konteks, yaitu analisis yang mencoba menginterpretasikan data secara kontekstual. Ada 3 (tiga) latar belakang masalah yang menjadikan penelitian ini urgen dilaksanakan, yaitu tasawuf sebagai kekhasan pondok pesantren sangat relevan dijadikan sebagai basis pendidikan Islam di pondok pesantren, perlunya desain pendidikan Islam berbasis tasawuf pada pondok pesantren, sehingga mampu mewujudkan revitalisasi pondok pesantren sebagai pencetak kiai dan dai, dan diperlukannya nilai-nilai tasawuf untuk ditanamkan dalam pendidikan Islam berbasis tasawuf di pondok pesantren. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsep tirakat sebagai bagian penting yang tidak terpisahkan dari tasawuf harus menjadi basis pelaksanaan pendidikan Islam di pondok pesantren. Tasawuf tidak bisa dilepaskan dari tirakat sebagai jalan yang ditempuh guna mencapai tujuan wushul kepada Allah Swt. Filosofi pendidikan Islam berbasis tasawuf yaitu pengembangan aspek spiritual santri guna menggapai wushul kepada Allah Swt. Nilai-nilai tasawuf yang ditanamkan dalam pendidikan Islam berbasis tasawuf antara lain muroqobah (mawas diri), mahabbah (cinta) kepada Allah Swt, khauf (takut) kepada Allah Swt, raja’ (berharap) kepada Allah Swt, ‘uns, dan yakin. Kurikulum pendidikan Islam berbasis tasawuf di pondok pesantren terdiri dari kegiatan tirakat dan riyadhoh.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe and reveal a portrait of student diversity and management of PAI learning in building an attitude of religious moderation in public high schools in the Muna District. This Research used a qualitative approach, and data were collected through interviews, observations, and documents. From this study it can be seen that the results of the study show: (1) the portrait of diversity in SMA Negeri Muna Regency is: (a) SMAN 1 Raha has 1125 Muslim students, 10 Christians and 2 Hindus (b) SMA Negeri 2 Raha students who 1256 Muslims are Muslims and the number of students who are Christians is 38 people; (c) SMA Negeri 1 Tongkuno has 490 Muslim students and 18 Christian Catholic students (d) SMA 1 Tongkuno Selatan has 93 Muslim students and 29 Christian Catholics; (2) The implementation of PAI learning management in building Tolerance at public high schools in Muna Regency is as follows: (a) The planning for PAI learning in fostering Tolerance has been established in the national education system; (b) Implementation which includes intra-curricular activities, extra-curricular activities or additional classes, and routine activities and habituation of cooperation and (c) The evaluation phase is carried out through an assessment of the completeness of each basic competency in each material taught as well as attitude and spiritual assessment sheets in observing students' daily behavior.

Abstract

Artikel bertujuan mengeksplorasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam kontinuitas kokok ayam jantan pada masyarakat pegunungan di Wonosobo Jawa Tengah, dengan memfokuskan pada nilai pendidikan Islam mangacu pada kajian yang mendalam. Penelitian lapangan ini termasuk jenis kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologi budaya. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Ayam jantan mempunyai keistimewaan dibanding binatang lain, yakni memahami perubahan waktu di malam hari. Ia berkokok pada waktu yang tepat serta tidak pernah telat, baik sebelum atau sesudah subuh tidak pernah meleset, yang merupakan fitrah Allah dikaruniakan terhadapnya. Tanda ini digunakan sebagian ulama syafiiyah dalam menentukan waktu. Bunyi kokok ayam jantan di waktu malam hari, sebagai penanda kebaikan dimana umat muslim dianjurkan beribadah dimalam dan pagi hari. Ini dapat dipahami bahwa kontinuitas kokok ayam jantan merupakan filantrofi bagi kebaikan dan kebermanfaatan manusia. Maka semua yang bisa memberi manfaat baik, tidak sepantasnya dicela ataupun dihina. Semestinya, dihargai serta disikapi dengan bijak. Keterbatasan ditampilkan pada rincian nilai pendidikan Islam untuk dispesifikkan. Kajian ini mengembangkan setting dan orientasinya dengan mengintegrasikan kokok ayam jantan dalam filantropi Islam. Ini menunjukkan peran hewan terhadap manusia yang menonjol, dimana riset-riset sebelumnya belum spesifik menyentuhnya

Abstract

Moral education in higher education is essential for shaping students' character and ethical awareness. The philosophy of essentialism provides a relevant framework by emphasizing core knowledge and universal values as the foundation for moral development. This article explores the implications of essentialist philosophy in moral education using a library research method. Findings suggest that essentialism-based moral education enhances students' moral sensitivity, ethical reasoning, and social responsibility. Integrating essentialist values into the curriculum creates a supportive environment for character building and increases student engagement in moral learning. It also promotes active participation in social issues and strengthens students’ commitment to ethical behavior. Moreover, this approach supports the development of a positive academic culture through interactive, value-driven learning. In conclusion, essentialism offers a practical and philosophical foundation for advancing moral education in higher education, contributing to the formation of graduates who are not only intellectually capable but also morally grounded and socially conscious.
