Abstract

Mikoriza adalah asosiasi simbiotik yang esensial untuk satu atau kedua mitra, antara fungi (khususnya yang hidup dalam tanah dan tanaman) dan akar (atau organ lain yang bersentuhan dengan substrat) dari tanaman hidup, terutama bertugas untuk memindahkan hara. Mikoriza terdapat dalam organ tanaman spesifik dimana hubungan intimnya tercipta sebagai akibat perkembangan serempak tanaman-fungi (Brundrett 2004). Dalam fenomena ini fungi menginfeksi dan mengkoloni akar tanpa menimbulkan nekrosis sebagaimana biasa terjadi pada infeksi fungi patogen, dan mendapat pasokan nutrisi secara teratur dari tanaman. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi, mengisolasi, dan mengidentifikasi spora Fungi Mikoriza Arbuskula yang berada pada area rhizosfer tegakan mahoni (Swietenia mahagoni). Dengan menggunakan teknik wet sieving ditemukan jenis spora Glomus sp. berbentuk bulat atau globular dengan ukuran relatif besar dan berwarna gelap keunguan atau coklat, serta Gigaspora sp. terlihat berbentuk bulat sempurna (globosa) dengan ukuran yang relatif lebih besar, dan memiliki warna coklat kekuningan atau keemasan.

Abstract

Mikoriza arbuskula merupakan asosiasi simbiotik yang esensial, antara fungi yang berada pada tanah dengan akar yang diketahui dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman inangnya dengan meningkatkan kemampuan penyerapan nutrisi hara, terutama fosfat. Infeksi Mikoriza arbuskula terjadi di dalam organ tanaman dimana simbiosis ini tercipta sebagai akibat perkembangan serempak antara tanaman dan fungi. Dalam fenomena ini fungi mikoriza arbuskula (FMA) menginfeksi dan mengkoloni akar tanpa menimbulkan nekrosis sebagaimana biasa terjadi pada infeksi fungi patogen, dan mendapat pasokan nutrisi secara teratur dari tanaman. Miscanthus sinensis merupakan tanaman pionir yang banyak ditemukan pada daerah kritis yang tersebar luas di daerah Eurasia, termasuk pada daerah lereng pegunungan api di wilayah Jepang. Penelititian ini bertujuan untuk mengkonfirmasi adanya struktur mikoriza pada akar tanaman M. sinensis. Dengan teknik blue staining berhasil mengkonfirmasi bahwa FMA memainkan peranan penting dalam pertumbuhan dan resiliensi tanaman yang hidup pada daerah kritis seperti pada lereng pegunungan api.

Abstract

Lake Rawa Pening, in Indonesia, is one of the super lakes of revitalization priority. The factor that causes Lake Rawa Pening to become a priority lake is high sedimentation, which is triggered by the expansion of land cover such as settlement, agriculture, and industry in the Rawa Pening Catchment Area. This study examines changes in water quality parameters in Rawa Pening Lake from remote sensing data with Google Earth Engine (GEE). The physical parameters used to assess water quality are the concentration of Total Suspended Solid (TSS) and the area of water vegetation (water hyacinth). The results indicate that the water quality of Rawa lake has changed in the TSS level and the distribution area of aquatic vegetation. In general, from 2017, 2019 and 2021 there were fluctuations in the percentage of water hyacinth and TSS. Modeling results indicate that Lake Rawa Pening is mostly hypereutrophic.

Farmer awareness in Cottage Sunan Gunung Jati Islamic Boarding School Ba'alawi Gunungpati Semarang city for improve quality and income in the group breeder . There are breeders in that environment just make feed cattle in a way traditional without use machine , then create a livestock group to be able to process it quality feed . The technological transformation developed is improve feed quality cattle using manufacturing technology machine enumerator grass . Abstract

Small and medium-sized industries, particularly the tofu industry, are often characterized by low energy efficiency and high pollution due to a lack of industrial wastewater treatment, leading to direct discharge that degrades water bodies and the surrounding well water quality. This study aims to analyze the quality of well water near the tofu industry in Pakintelan Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang City, to assess its suitability as drinking water. A quantitative descriptive research approach was used with purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and laboratory tests focusing on physical (Odor, Taste, TDS), chemical (pH, Nitrate, Nitrite), and biological (Coliform) parameters from residents' wells. The quality status was determined using the STORET Index method and an ANOVA test, in accordance with the Minister of Health Regulation No. 02 of 2023. The results confirmed that tofu liquid wastewater negatively affects well water quality, and that the distance between the well and the tofu industry significantly influences this water quality. This research contributes to environmental science by providing empirical evidence of the direct contamination pathway from untreated tofu effluent to domestic water sources and highlighting well distance as a critical factor in managing water resources in industrial areas.
