Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk memberikan pemahaman bagaimana proses pembelajaran STEM khususnya menggunakan engineering design process. Pergeseran proses pembelajaran berubah menjadi pembelajaran yang membutuhkan siswa untuk dapat berpikir kreatif, mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan dan kristis, mampu berkolaraborasi khususnya dalam pembelajaran sains.. Salah satu pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan siswa adalah STEM dengan Engineering design process sebagai tahapan dalam membekali siswa untuk belajar. Kegiatan ini melibatkan calon guru sekolah dasar sebanyak 30 orang pada program studi pendidikan guru sekolah dasar universitas bhayangkara jakarta raya. Kegiatan ini memiliki empat tahap, perencanaan kegiatan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan refleksi belajar. Berdasarkan kuesioner yang diisi oleh calon guru sekolah dasar mengatakan pelatihan pembelajaran STEM mampu meningkatkan minat terhadap belajar IPA sebanyak 90%, meningkatkan motivasi dalam mempelajari sains sebanyak 75% dan kreativitas dalam belajar sebanyak 100%. Pembelajaran dengan STEM memberikan pemahaman baru bahwa belajar STEM dapat dilakukan dengan menyenangkan dengan mengerjakan proyek. Pada Kegiatan pelatihan ini resonden wanita memiliki peningkatan ketertarikan yang lebih tinggi setelah mempelajari IPA menggunakan pembelajaran STEM

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemahaman siswa materi operasi hitung campuran bilangan bulat melalui media games kahoot di SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur (literatur review) yang memanfaatkan referensi dari jurnal nasional, artikel ilmiah, serta skripsi menggunakan 10 jurnal dan artikel sumber data yang dikumpulkan. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat kendala dan kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa sebanyak 88,5% dalam memahami dan menyelesaikan soal-soal operasi hitung, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan bilangan bulat negatif, operasi campuran, soal cerita, dan penggunaan garis bilangan. Pemahaman siswa terhadap materi ini melalui media games interaktif kahoot dipengaruhi oleh dua faktor, yakni faktor internal dan eksternal. Peneliti merekomendasikan beberapa solusi untuk mengatasi kesulitan siswa, yaitu dengan menyajikan soal-soal yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, memperkuat pemahaman konsep operasi hitung campuran bilangan bulat, mengenalkan media pembelajaran yang tepat, pemerintah memberikan panduan praktis bagi para pendidik dalam mengimplementasikan teknologi gamifikasi untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, serta memanfaatkan permainan interaktif berbasis teknologi agar proses belajar matematika menjadi lebih menyenangkan dan menarik bagi siswa.

Abstract

A solid understanding of mathematical concepts at the elementary school level is crucial as a foundation for mastering more complex material at higher levels of education. However, current classroom conditions reveal that many students struggle to grasp basic mathematical concepts due to a lack of varied and contextual learning methods. This study aims to analyze the impact of the GASING method (Gampang, Asyik, dan Menyenangkan — Easy, Fun, and Enjoyable) on elementary students' mathematical understanding using a qualitative approach through a literature review. Data were obtained from an analysis of ten relevant research journals published within the last seven years. The findings indicate that the GASING method consistently enhances students' mathematical comprehension, both cognitively and affectively. Learning becomes more enjoyable, students are more engaged, and academic outcomes show significant improvement. These findings suggest that the GASING method can serve as an innovative and effective alternative for improving the quality of mathematics education at the elementary level. Recommendations include the broader implementation of the GASING method and further research in inclusive classroom settings and the development of higher-order thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the impact of the online game Roblox onthe learning motivation of elementary school students. The focus of the study isdirected at changes in learning behavior, consistency of learning enthusiasm, andthe responses of students, teachers, and parents to the habit of playing onlinegames. This study was conducted at SD Negeri Setia Darma 04 using a qualitativeapproach and case study method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviewswith informants consisting of class teachers, parents of students, and fourth gradestudents who actively play Roblox. This study is based on the researchersconcern because of the rampant children playing online games around theresearchers residence. This study aims to determine the impact of the onlinegame Roblox on the learning motivation of students at SD Negeri Setia Darma 04.

Abstract

This study examines how integrating organizational culture management into school governance drives character education practices in elementary schools. Using a qualitative case study, we explore how governance routines and policies translate cultural values ​​into daily practices. We collected data through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed the data using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings show that governance mechanisms such as morning gate routines, punctuality norms, collaborative planning, and parent–school communication institutionalize teacher role modeling and make it consistent across classrooms. These mechanisms shape students' politeness, discipline, responsibility, and cooperation. Teachers act as visible carriers of culture, and students at the elementary level imitate these concrete behaviors. Collaboration among teachers, students, and parents sustains the process beyond the classroom and reduces value gaps between school and home. The study concludes that managing organizational culture as part of school governance is more effective than purely normative instruction for strengthening character education. Practical implications include embedding clear routines, consequence systems, and joint evaluations into school policies to ensure continuity and scalability. This approach offers a contextual and sustainable pathway for character formation in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of school principal leadership in developing teachers' digital-based pedagogical competence at SDIT Mentari 2. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the principal plays a strategic role through four managerial functions: planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. The principal designs digital training programs, forms a digital movement team, facilitates training and mentoring, and conducts continuous evaluation of teachers’ digital teaching practices. The implementation of the program is carried out in stages and involves active teacher participation, supported by adequate infrastructure and facilities. The study concludes that a transformative and participative leadership style is key to enhancing digital-based pedagogical competence. This leadership model can serve as a best practice reference for other schools in addressing the challenges of education in the digital era.

Abstract

As the main component in the learning process, teachers play an important role. The role of teachers is to educate, teach, guide and train and motivate students, so that they are able to be disciplined, in order to succeed in pursuing education. Teachers have a big role in educating students because teachers can train students' discipline at school so that good character is formed in children. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the teacher's strategy in instilling a disciplined attitude in the learning process at SDN Harapan Baru II Bekasi. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation to teachers at SDN Harapan Baru II Bekasi. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's strategy in instilling a disciplined attitude is good because with teachers being disciplined examples for students, the teachers there have displayed and provided examples of good attitudes in implementing the character of student discipline.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of using mathematical card game media in improving the understanding of addition and subtraction concepts in grade III elementary school students. The method used is a systematic literature review of various studies related to the use of mathematical card media in basic mathematics learning. Data sources in this study are in the form of articles, theses, books, and also scientific papers that are analyzed based on the objectives that have been formulated. The results of the study indicate that mathematical card game media can significantly increase students' involvement, motivation, and understanding of mathematical concepts, as well as develop social skills such as cooperation and communication. However, there are challenges such as the potential for students to focus too much on the game aspect so that the main learning objectives are neglected, as well as differences in students' abilities in understanding the rules of the game. In conclusion, mathematical card game media is an effective learning tool to improve mathematics learning outcomes, especially in addition and subtraction operations, with the note that good management and adequate teacher training are needed to maximize its benefits.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of character education in Civic Education (PKn) learning in Elementary Schools. Civic Education (PKn) in Elementary Schools. Character education integrated into the subject of PKn has an important role in shaping students' attitudes and behaviors according to moral, social, and national values. The method used is a systematic literature review (SLR) to obtain an overview and data on the variables studied explicitly, structured, and accountable. Data sources come from scientific papers such as journal articles, books, notes, and relevant reports. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of character education in PKn in elementary schools is running well and has a positive impact on the development of students' attitudes and behaviors. The Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) prepared by teachers specifically integrates character values ​​such as tolerance, discipline, responsibility, and honesty. The use of creative learning media, such as pictures, videos, and educational games, can increase students' interest and understanding of PKn material and the character values ​​taught. Parental support is also an important factor that strengthens the process of forming students' character.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the urgency of library management in increasing students' reading interest at SDN Malaka Sari 03, East Jakarta. The background of this study is the low literacy culture in Indonesia, one of which can be addressed through optimizing the role of school libraries. The method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that library management at SDN Malaka Sari 03 has been running well through effective planning, organization, implementation, and supervision. The strategies implemented include scheduling library visits, routine literacy activities, providing relevant book collections, and utilizing technology through the procurement of digital books. In addition, collaboration between librarians, teachers, and students also contributes to creating a comfortable and supportive library atmosphere. However, challenges remain, such as limited library collections and the need to improve infrastructure. In general, good library management has been proven to increase students' reading interest and strengthen literacy culture in elementary schools.
