Abstract

REMO or the abbreviation for Rebana Modern is an organization at UNNES which operates in the field of Islamic art. Activities in the REMO organization can improve character development in students at UNNES PGSD, especially in social character values. Through routine activities, the character that is formed includes discipline, self-confidence, mutual respect, spiritual values, togetherness, and Islamic artistic values. The many characters that are formed through REMO activities are something that has positive value. The focus of the character that we study through REMO activities is social character. This research uses a qualitative approach. Qualitative research is research that uses events, analysis of phenomena, social activities, thoughts of a person or a group. Qualitative research produces data in the form of written or verbal descriptions of the results of face-to-face and virtual interviews.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bilingual merupakan pendekatan strategis dalam meningkatkan kemampuan linguistik peserta didik sejak dini, khususnya di tingkat sekolah dasar. Dalam konteks pendidikan abad ke-21, penguasaan bahasa asing seperti Bahasa Inggris menjadi kompetensi penting yang harus dikembangkan tanpa mengesampingkan peran bahasa ibu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses pembelajaran bilingual melalui studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data diperoleh dari berbagai referensi relevan yang membahas metode, teknik, strategi, evaluasi, serta tantangan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran bilingual di sekolah dasar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran bilingual membutuhkan metode yang kontekstual, teknik yang bervariasi seperti penggunaan bahasa bergantian dan media bilingual, serta strategi yang memperhatikan perkembangan peserta didik. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk memastikan efektivitas pembelajaran, sementara tantangan utama yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan sumber daya, kurangnya pelatihan guru, dan inkonsistensi dalam penggunaan bahasa. Oleh karena itu, keberhasilan implementasi pembelajaran bilingual memerlukan dukungan menyeluruh dari guru, orang tua, dan lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the literacy habituation program used as a strategy to improve reading comprehension skills for fifth grade students of SDN Bringin 01. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach method. The subjects of this study were homeroom teachers and fifth grade students with high, medium, and low abilities at SDN Bringin 01. This study used data collection techniques in the form of initial observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that literacy habituation activities for fifth grade students at SDN Bringin 01 have a significant influence, especially for students with high abilities. With this literacy habituation activity, students with high abilities find it easier to understand reading in depth. However, for students with medium and low abilities, this literacy habituation activity has not had a significant impact on their reading comprehension skills. This study is expected to be able to provide a positive impact on the evaluation of this literacy habituation activity, so that the objectives of this activity can be achieved optimally.

Abstract

Women are often one of the victims marginalized by the upper class. Television reports, novels, and movie stories often portray women in positions they shouldn't have occupied. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of female characters in the film Be Quiet using a critical discourse analysis approach based on the theoretical framework developed by Sarah Mills. This study uses a descriptive approach in a qualitative method. The data collection technique in this study is the data transcription technique. The transcription data technique in this study was carried out by watching a short film titled Please Be Quiet on the Youtube channel repeatedly, recording all dialogues, and selecting data based on the focus of the research. The data of this research is divided into two categories, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data in the form of text from film transcripts containing dialogues from the characters Putri, Sarah and Pak Benny; While secondary data is in the form of visual symbols contained in the film. Primary data were analyzed using Sara Mills' discourse analysis theory; while secondary data were analyzed using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic theory. The results of the study show that in the film Please Be Quiet, women are sexually harassed, threatened, and injustice experienced by figures from superiors, underlining the existence of systematic power inequality in the workplace.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam kinerja guru dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dasar dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Kinerja guru menjadi salah satu indikator utama dalam menentukan keberhasilan proses pendidikan, terutama di jenjang sekolah dasar yang merupakan fondasi awal pembentukan karakter dan kemampuan akademik siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui analisis berbagai literatur ilmiah, jurnal, dan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan dalam lima tahun terakhir. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja guru sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal seperti kompetensi pedagogik, profesionalisme, dan motivasi, serta faktor eksternal seperti lingkungan kerja, dukungan kepala sekolah, dan fasilitas pembelajaran. Guru yang memiliki kinerja baik terbukti mampu menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang efektif, interaktif, dan berorientasi pada perkembangan siswa. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan mutu pendidikan dasar tidak dapat dipisahkan dari upaya peningkatan kualitas kinerja guru secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya kolaborasi antara guru, manajemen sekolah, dan pemangku kebijakan dalam menciptakan sistem pendidikan yang mendukung profesionalisme dan kesejahteraan guru
