Abstract

Healthcare marketing in the digital era is increasingly shaped by data‑driven performance measurement and patient‑centered experiential value, particularly in specialized settings such as maternal and child hospitals. This study examines how a private maternal and child hospital—RSIA Ananda Makassar—implements digital marketing within a value‑based framework, focusing on its integration with performance measurement systems and experiential value creation for women and families. The research adopts a qualitative case study design using structured observation, semi‑structured interviews with key marketing and clinical staff, and documentation analysis of digital content, service processes, and patient feedback mechanisms over a two‑month period. Data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns in digital engagement, performance indicators, and experiential value dimensions. The findings reveal that Instagram, online booking, and WhatsApp‑based consultation are the most effective digital channels in reaching young mothers, while QR‑based satisfaction surveys and routine performance reviews support continuous improvement of marketing and service strategies. Patient trust and emotional bonding are strengthened through care‑oriented communication, storytelling, and visible professionalism, reflecting experiential value in maternal and childcare. However, global outreach and systematic integration of performance data across units remain limited. The study concludes that successful digital healthcare marketing in a maternal and child hospital requires an integrated approach that aligns digital tools, robust performance measurement, and patient‑centered experiential value to build trust and loyalty.

Abstract

Occupational stress among nurses is a persistent and multidimensional challenge in healthcare systems worldwide. As frontline caregivers in inpatient settings, nurses face physical and emotional demands that vary considerably according to individual demographic characteristics. Understanding how these characteristics shape stress experiences is essential for designing targeted and effective institutional interventions. This study aimed to explore and describe the influence of demographic factors specifically age, gender, work experience, marital status, and educational background on occupational stress levels among inpatient nurses in an Indonesian hospital. A descriptive quantitative design was employed, supplemented by semi-structured interviews. Data were collected from 63 nurses using a structured questionnaire adapted from the Nursing Stress Scale and analysed through descriptive and inferential statistics. Interview data were analysed thematically. The majority of respondents experienced mild stress (57.1%), followed by moderate stress (36.5%) and high stress (6.4%). Nurses aged 31–40 exhibited the highest rates of moderate to high stress (57.1%), while younger nurses (20–30) predominantly experienced mild stress (63.4%). Female nurses showed higher rates of high stress (7%) compared to male nurses (0%). Nurses with 5–10 years of experience and those holding a Bachelor's degree reported greater moderate-to-high stress than their counterparts. Married nurses consistently reported higher stress levels than unmarried nurses. The dominant stressors across all demographic groups were workload, conflict with physicians, and uncertainty in patient treatment. Demographic factors significantly differentiate occupational stress profiles among inpatient nurses. Institutional support including stress management training, workload adjustments, and improved interprofessional communication is critical to alleviating stress and sustaining both nurse well-being and patient care quality.

Abstract

Rendahnya literasi masyarakat mengenai pengelolaan obat yang benar masih menjadi isu penting, khususnya di Kelurahan Balocci Baru, Kecamatan Balocci, Kabupaten Pangkep. Hambatan ini dipicu oleh akses terbatas terhadap layanan kesehatan yang cukup jauh dari pemukiman dan minimnya tenaga kefarmasian, yang hanya terdiri dari satu apoteker dan satu tenaga vokasi. Sebagai respon, dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman warga terkait pengelolaan obat melalui edukasi konsep DAGUSIBU (Dapatkan, Gunakan, Simpan, dan Buang Obat dengan Benar). Kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) yang mendorong keterlibatan masyarakat secara aktif pada setiap tahapan, terutama saat sesi edukasi berlangsung. Materi disampaikan secara interaktif melalui presentasi visual, pembagian leaflet edukatif, dan pemasangan poster di fasilitas kesehatan setempat. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan instrumen pre-test dan post-test dengan 10 soal pilihan ganda. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 55 menjadi 80 setelah edukasi (p 0,05). Diskusi dua arah turut memperkuat partisipasi peserta. Intervensi ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pengelolaan obat yang rasional dan menjadi langkah awal dalam membangun kesadaran kolektif akan pentingnya penggunaan obat secara aman dan tepat.

Abstract

Strengthening students’ managerial competencies has become a strategic necessity to enhance the effectiveness of student organizations and to prepare future leaders. This study aimed to analyze the impact of an experiential learning–based workshop intervention on the managerial competencies of student organization activists. A quantitative approach was employed using a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. The sample consisted of 30 core student organization board members selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a validated questionnaire measuring five managerial competency indicators: understanding of POAC (planning, organizing, actuating, controlling), organizational vision and mission, goal setting, organizational structure, and perceptions of the importance of organizational management. Data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results indicated an increase in the mean score from 76.67 to 90.67, with a statistically significant difference (t(29)=2.97; p=0.006) and a moderate effect size (Cohen’s d=0.54). Four indicators showed significant improvement, while one indicator declined, which was interpreted as a critical reflective process following the intervention. These findings confirm that practice-based workshops are effective in enhancing students’ managerial competencies and should be sustainably integrated into student organization development programs.

Abstract

Ketersediaan data kesehatan yang akurat dan terintegrasi merupakan aspek penting dalam perencanaan serta pengambilan keputusan pelayanan kesehatan. Namun, implementasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Kesehatan (SIMKES) di Dinas Kesehatan Kota Makassar masih menghadapi tantangan, sehingga diperlukan analisis pengembangan menggunakan metode Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) untuk menilai efektivitas dan keberlanjutannya. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis proses pengembangan SIMKES berdasarkan kesesuaian tahapan SDLC serta mengidentifikasi hambatan dalam implementasi. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus melalui wawancara mendalam dan telaah dokumen dengan tiga informan kunci yang dipilih secara purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan SIMKES di Dinas Kesehatan Kota Makassar berkontribusi positif terhadap pengumpulan, pengolahan, dan penyajian data kesehatan, meskipun tahapan SDLC seperti analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan belum berjalan optimal. Keterbatasan sumber daya manusia di bidang teknologi informasi dan ketergantungan pada vendor eksternal menjadi kendala utama. Kesimpulan: Diperlukan strategi peningkatan kapasitas SDM, pembentukan tim IT internal, serta perencanaan pengembangan yang lebih terstruktur untuk memastikan kualitas dan keberlanjutan SIMKES di Dinas Kesehatan Kota Makassar.

Abstract

Transformasi digital di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan menuntut sistem informasi yang tidak hanya tersedia, tetapi juga diterima dan digunakan secara optimal oleh tenaga kesehatan. Sistem Omnicare sebagai sistem informasi klinik di Klinik Ratulangi Medical Centre perlu dievaluasi dari aspek penerimaan pengguna untuk memastikan efektivitas implementasinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh Persepsi Kemanfaatan (Perceived Usefulness/PU) dan Persepsi Kemudahan Penggunaan (Perceived Ease of Use/PEOU) terhadap Persepsi Tenaga Kesehatan terhadap Penggunaan Sistem Omnicare dengan menggunakan kerangka Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Sebanyak 33 tenaga kesehatan dari berbagai profesi berpartisipasi sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson serta regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa PU memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan persepsi penggunaan sistem (r = 0,462; p = 0,007), demikian pula PEOU (r = 0,511; p = 0,002). Analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap persepsi penggunaan, dengan persamaan Y = -0,130 + 0,247X1 + 0,469X2. PEOU memiliki kontribusi relatif lebih kuat dibandingkan PU. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kemanfaatan dan kemudahan penggunaan merupakan determinan penting dalam membentuk persepsi positif tenaga kesehatan terhadap penggunaan sistem informasi klinik. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan aspek usability, peningkatan kualitas informasi, serta strategi pelatihan berkelanjutan untuk mendukung optimalisasi pemanfaatan Omnicare. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini memperkuat relevansi TAM dalam menganalisis penerimaan sistem informasi pada konteks layanan kesehatan tingkat klinik.
