Abstract

Along with the development of the era, the emergence of the free sex phenomenon that can have an impact on the reproductive health of students. This proves a decline in character that is not in accordance with the profile of Pancasila students. To improve the profile of Pancasila students, a learning device that is integrated with the Qur'an in the material of the Human reproductive system was developed. In this study, to determine the effectiveness of the biology learning device integrated with the Qur'an in the material of the human reproductive system can improve the profile of Pancasila students, especially in the dimension of critical reasoning skills. The learning device was developed in a development research or Research and Development (R & D) using the ADDIE design, in grade IX students of MTs Al Furqon. The samples used in the study were two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class using purposive sampling techniques. To measure the level of critical reasoning skillss of students using pre-test and post-test questions. The data analysis technique used N-Gain to determine the effectiveness of the learning device. The results of the N-Gain percentage of the experimental class were 65.58%, while for the control class it was 44.03%. The integrated biology learning device of the Qur'an on the Human Reproductive System Material is stated to be quite effective in improving the profile of Pancasila students in the critical reasoning dimension.

Abstract

Scientific argumentation skills are an important competency in 21st century learning because they help students critically evaluate environmental issues, make evidence-based decisions, and form an attitude of caring for the environment. This study aims to analyze scientific argumentation skills, environmental concerns, and the relationship between the two in junior high school students. The research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational descriptive design. The sample consisted of 32 grade VIII students who were selected using the purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through scientific argumentation ability tests based on the Toulmin Argumentation Pattern (TAP), environmental care attitudes questionnaire based on Ugulu indicators, and observation sheets. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation test. The results showed that students' scientific argumentation skills were in the low category (M = 51.74). The claim component obtained the highest scores, while warrants, backing, rebuttals, and qualifiers were still low. Environmental care is also in the less category (M = 2.20). The correlation test showed a strong and significant positive relationship between scientific argumentation ability and environmental concern (r = 0.740; p < 0.001). These findings show that improving scientific argumentation skills has the potential to support the development of environmental care attitudes. Therefore, science learning needs to integrate the Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI) and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) approaches.

Abstract

Science education is something that is very crucial in forming an intelligent and creative generation. Science learning needs to be developed so that it can facilitate students in developing scientific thinking skills and motivation in studying science. This research aims to determine the Science Motivation profile students on the concept of particle dynamics. The research was conducted on class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali. Samples were taken from class XI students totaling 67 male and female students. The data collection method used was the use of a Science Motivation questionnaire. The questionnaire data was tabulated using Excel and then the percentage was calculated. Based on analysis of the results of the student science motivation questionnaire, it shows that the science motivation of students at SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali is 79,85. Meanwhile, in terms of each indicator, it is as follows: the intrinsic motivation and personal relevance indicator is 78.45 (medium criteria), the packaging assessment indicator is 78.63 (medium criteria), the career self-determination indicator is 79,52 (medium criteria), career motivation indicator 82.69 (medium criteria) and class motivation indicator 84.18 (medium criteria).

Abstract

The development of information technology demands a transformation of the education system to produce graduates who are adaptive to the digital era. This article aims to document and analyze the effectiveness of the Inhouse Training (IHT) program in improving the competency of teachers at SMP Negeri 37 Semarang in implementing coding and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based deep learning. Using a participatory collaborative method with a needs-based approach, this program includes stages of socialization, offline training, implementation of Appropriate Technology (TTG), and intensive mentoring for three months. The results of the community service show a significant increase in teacher professional capacity, with a material usefulness score reaching 3.84 (96%) and participant satisfaction of 3.8 (95%). This intervention successfully transformed the teacher paradigm from limited digital literacy to the ability to develop contextual and innovative deep learning-based learning tools.
