Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of village assets in Galagamba Village, Ciwaringin District, Regency. In the context of village development, effective asset management is essential to improve community welfare. The research method used is a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches, with data collection through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, observation, and document analysis. The results showed that village asset management still faces various challenges, including low community participation, weak accountability, and lack of transparency in asset information management. In addition, many assets are poorly inventoried and in need of repair. The impact of this suboptimal management is seen in the social and environmental welfare of the community. Based on the findings, it is recommended to increase the capacity of human resources, open space for community participation, and apply the principle of transparency in asset management. This research provides important insights for village governments in formulating more effective and sustainable policies for village asset management in the future.

Abstract

Low voter participation in rural areas is often a problem in elections. Effective socialization is considered as one way to increase voter awareness and participation. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of election socialization conducted by the Kuningan Regency Communication and Information Office in increasing voter participation in rural areas. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews and observations. The research participants consisted of villagers, election officers, and related parties involved in the socialization. The results showed that the socialization of elections conducted by the Kuningan Regency Communication and Information Office was effective in increasing public awareness and knowledge about elections. This has an impact on increasing voter participation in rural areas. However, there are challenges in reaching certain groups of people, especially those who live in remote areas and have limited access to information. While socialization has been successful in increasing participation, there is still a need for a more inclusive and adaptive approach to local conditions. This research recommends utilizing social media and other interactive methods, such as hands-on training or the use of technology, to more effectively reach hard-to-reach groups.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has encouraged local governments to transform public services through digital innovation, particularly in taxpayer administration. Conventional administrative processes often face challenges, such as limited accessibility, lengthy procedures, and low levels of public participation, making the implementation of e-government necessary to improve service quality. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Sapawarga application in taxpayer administration at the Kuningan Regency SAMSAT Office, identify the challenges encountered during its implementation, and analyze government efforts to address these challenges. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis was based on Richardus Eko Indrajit’s e-government framework, which consists of three dimensions: support, capacity, and value. The findings indicate that the Sapawarga application has improved taxpayer services by simplifying administrative processes, increasing efficiency, enhancing transparency, and enabling taxpayers to access services without directly visiting the SAMSAT office. However, several obstacles remain, including limited digital literacy, unstable internet infrastructure, technical system disruptions, and varying levels of user acceptance. The government has addressed these issues through public outreach, digital literacy programs, technical coordination, and the provision of alternative manual service options. In conclusion, the Sapawarga application represents a significant digital innovation that supports the modernization of taxpayer administration; however, continuous improvements in technological capacity and community readiness are required to ensure sustainable and equitable digital public services.
