Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of Seabank Indonesia, the leading digital bank in Indonesia (Databooks, 2025), through solvency ratios, namely Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) during the period of 2022-2024. Secondary data from financial reports were processed using a quantitative descriptive approach, supported by trend analysis and comparative analysis to assess Seabank’s financial performance. The results indicate a declining trend in CAR from 39.67% to 30.80%, indicating a reduced ability to bear risks. Meanwhile, DAR and DER significantly increased in 2024, reflecting a high reliance on debt financing and an unbalanced capital structure. This condition raises financial risk and demands strategies for capital strengthening and stricter debt control. The study recommends that Seabank evaluate capital strategies, control debt growth, strengthen equity, and implement effective risk management to maintain long-term financial stability.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the determinants of brand love in e-commerce platforms by analyzing the influence of pop-up advertising, satisfaction, brand awareness, and brand association on brand love among Blibli e-commerce application users. This research emphasizes understanding which factors contribute significantly to strengthening consumers’ emotional attachment and affection toward the brand. This study was conducted in Jayapura City, Papua, Indonesia, focusing on users of the Blibli e-commerce application. This research applied a quantitative approach. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to active Blibli users in Jayapura City. Respondents were selected using purposive sampling, with criteria including individuals who have used the Blibli application and have conducted transactions through the platform. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0 to evaluate the proposed hypotheses and test the relationships among the variables. The findings reveal that brand awareness and brand association have a positive and significant effect on brand love among Blibli users in Jayapura City. However, pop-up advertising and satisfaction do not show a positive and significant influence on brand love, indicating that intrusive promotional formats and transactional satisfaction alone are insufficient to generate deep emotional attachment. The results suggest that consumer’s emotional connection to the brand is more strongly shaped by brand perception and brand meaning rather than advertising exposure and short-term satisfaction. This study concludes that brand love in e-commerce platforms is significantly driven by consumer’s cognitive perception of the brand, particularly through brand awareness and brand association. In contrast, pop-up advertising and satisfaction are not proven to strengthen brand love. Therefore, Blibli should prioritize strategies that enhance brand identity, strengthen brand image, and create distinctive associations in consumer’s minds. This study contributes to branding literature and provides practical implications for e-commerce marketing strategies.

The collected data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results indicate that perceived authenticity, perceived risk, and perceived trustworthiness have a positive and significant effect on attitude toward local product. Meanwhile, perceived benefit, perceived sustainability, and perceived value were found to have no significant influence on attitude toward local product. Abstract

The rapid rise of electronic sports, particularly Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, has reshaped digital consumption behavior in regional areas like Jayapura City. This study investigates the influence of electronic trust, electronic satisfaction, and consumer electronic sport engagement on electronic consumption behavior among Mobile Legends players. Using a quantitative causal research design, data were collected from 150 active players aged 18 years or older in Jayapura through purposeful sampling. An online questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale was distributed via WhatsApp, and data were analyzed using SmartPLS software to evaluate direct relationships. The results show that electronic trust significantly enhances electronic satisfaction, which in turn drives consumer electronic sport engagement and electronic consumption behavior. Consumer electronic sport engagement also directly influences electronic consumption behavior. However, electronic trust does not directly affect engagement or consumption. These findings highlight the critical roles of satisfaction and engagement in encouraging digital purchases in electronic sports. Game developers and local organizers in Jayapura should enhance platform usability and host community events to boost satisfaction and engagement, thereby fostering greater consumption among players in regional markets.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises play a crucial role in Indonesia’s economy, particularly in North Sumatra, yet struggle to access Islamic banking financing due to internal and external challenges. This study seeks to develop strategies for enhancing partnership-based financing for these enterprises within Islamic banks. Employing the Analytic Network Process, the research engaged nine key informants from academia, regulatory bodies, and Islamic banking practitioners through in-depth interviews and pairwise comparison questionnaires to prioritize solutions. Findings reveal that insufficient bank staff expertise in understanding the needs of these enterprises is the primary internal barrier, while dependence on personal or informal capital poses the main external obstacle. Key strategies include targeted staff training, fostering multi-stakeholder partnerships, promoting enterprise products digitally, and implementing policies for financing subsidies and collaboration forums. This study provides a strategic framework for inclusive, sharia-compliant financing to drive regional economic growth. Limited to North Sumatra with a small informant sample, the findings may not fully apply elsewhere. The proposed strategies offer practical guidance for banks and policymakers to strengthen financing ecosystems, promoting sustainable development for these enterprises.
