Abstract

Abstract

The lack of caring between clinical supervisors and practicing students causes students to feel unnoticed and there is no attitude of helping and providing support, causing students to feel reluctant to undergo practice.  The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of caring clinical supervisors on the adaptation of practicing students at TK IV DKT Kediri Hospital. This research design is correlational with a cross-sectional approach. Respondents were taken using an accidental sampling technique with a sample of 37 people. The independent variable is caring clinical supervisors and the dependent variable is the adaptation of practicing students. Statistical test results using ordinal regression. The results showed that caring clinical supervisors were known to be almost half of the respondents as many as 15 (40.5%) in the good category.  Adaptation of practicing students is known to most respondents as many as 21 (56.0%) in the good category. The results of data analysis show that the significance level is 0.000< α= 0.05 so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, thus there is an effect of caring clinical supervisors on the adaptation of practicing students. The Pseudo R- Square result on the Nagelkerke value is 0.635 or 63.5%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of caring clinical supervisors on the adaptation of practicing students.  Clinical supervisors who behave caring will increase positive feelings in students so that they can adapt during clinical practice.  It is recommended that clinical supervisors not only act as educators but are expected to be able to assist and socialize with their new roles and be able to know the learning needs of students.

Abstract

PPK ORMAWA is one of the MBKM activities held by the government to support student education so that it can be directly conveyed to the Indonesian people through students. The ORMAWA PPK activity is an activity that has 3 program aspects, one of which is Promotional Media, Services, and Tourism Village Product Requirements. Ngulungwetan Village is a tourist village where this village is also one of the villages where the average community has a low level of awareness of the potential of tourist villages. The results obtained are that the ORMAWA PPK Team has created this program. With this program, it is hoped that it can increase the attractiveness of the community in Ngulungwetan Village in the world of tourism. So, with this program, it can improve the management of the tourist attraction of Kebo Beach, Ngulungwetan tourist village, especially beach camping as a superior product of the tourist village.

Abstract

Knowledge of first aid for drowning victims among communities near water attractions is essential to improve the success of assistance, especially for tourism awareness groups (Pokdarwis). Proper first aid knowledge is necessary to the reduce mortality and morbidity of accident victims, as the level of knowledge will affect the handling techniques for accident victims before they are taken to the hospital. However, currently, very little education is provided to the community as first responders at the scene. Therefore, the PPK ORMAWA BEM STRADA INDONESIA team conducted training on first aid for drowning victims for Pokdarwis and the community around Sumber Complang, Pranggang Village, to increase awareness and success when assistting. This activity aims to determine the relationship between increased knowledge of Pranggang Village Pokdarwis and helping drowning victims using the simulation method. The results obtained show a p-value of 0.004. Since 0.004 is less than < 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference in respondents' abilities before and after training. An effective simulation method can easily teach someone to understand new knowledge. These results indicate that the simulation method is very effective in training lay people to perform first aid for drowning victims.

Abstract

Background: The assessment criteria used in determining the readiness of a patient under spinal anesthesia to be discharged from the recovery room is the Bromage score. Delays in moving patients can cause additional treatment costs recovery room, hypothermia, and anxiety in patients. Purpose: This research aims to determine differences in achievement time. Bromage scored 0 post-cesarean sections with the ERACS method and not ERACS for mothers giving birth at RSUD SLG Kediri. Method: This research uses a design true experiment with a type posttest-only control group. With purposive sampling A sample of 60 respondents was obtained, divided equally between experimental groups and methods ERACS and the control group with the Non method ERACS, and statistical tests were carried out by Mann-Whitney. Results: The results of research from 60 respondents showed that the majority of patients who used the ERACS method reached a bromage score of 0 within 26-35 minutes after spinal anesthesia. Meanwhile, the majority of patients who use non-methods ERACS reach a bromage score of 0 in 126-135 minutes. Statistical test analysis Mann-Whitney The significance results obtained were p value=0.000 (<0.05), meaning that there was a significant difference in time to achievement bromage score 0 in patients with cesarean section method ERACS and non-RACS. Conclusion: Achievement time Bromage score 0 post spinal anesthesia methods ERACS an average of 30.00 minutes faster than the Nonmethod ERACS. Based on this time difference, the anesthetist can provide information regarding the duration of the achievement time Bromage score and estimated patient transfer time.

Abstract

Coronary heart disease is caused by the narrowing of blood vessels due to atherosclerotic plaque. Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) is used to improve myocardial perfusion. Nursing education is crucial in enhancing patient understanding, preventing non-compliance with treatment, and helping them maintain a healthy lifestyle while preventing complications. This study aims to determine the effect of post-operative Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) care education on the knowledge level of patients in the ICVCU Room at dr. Iskak Tulungagung Hospital. This study employed a quasi- xperimental method. The sample was selected using consecutive sampling, consisting of 30 respondents. The instruments used were questionnaires, leaflets, and educational videos. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The findings indicate that before the education was provided, most respondents had a moderate level of knowledge, with 19 respondents (63.3%). After the education, there was an increase, with the majority of respondents (63.3%) demonstrating good knowledge. The Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test showed an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, indicating a significant effect of education on increasing patient knowledge in the ICVCU Room at dr. Iskak Tulungagung Hospital.Improved understanding of post-PCI care plays a crucial role in reducing the risk of complications, such as bleeding at the puncture site or side effects from the prescribed medications
