Abstract

Hyperspectral imaging is a non destructive method that has been used to evaluate internal characteristics of fruits and vegetables. Plant genetics, soil characteristics, and plant management are some of key factors to define the quality of oil palm fresh fruit bunches (FFB) produced. This research was aimed to discriminate the Tenera oil palm FFBs produced by oil palm trees grown from mineral soil and peat soil using a hyperspectral imaging system which utilized a Specim V10 spektrograf. The discrimination was based on their ripeness level, mesocarp firmness, and classification using K-mean clustering. The samples consisted of 61 mineral soil FFBs and 60 peat soil FFBs with three ripeness levels as unripe, ripe, and overripe. Hyperspectral images were recorded and processed using Matlab programs. The spectral reflectance intensities showed the discrimination between both origin soils at wavelength ranges of 700 nm  900 nm. The results also showed higher reflectance intensities of peat soil FFBs than mineral soil FFBs. Correspondingly, Fruit firmness of peat soil FFBs are higher than mineral soil FFBs. Classification using K- mean clustering between reflectance intensities and fruit firmness showed significant clusters for three ripeness levels. These results will be useful for an oil palm FFB sorting machine based on spectral imaging method

Abstract

Desa Batu Sanggan terletak jauh ke arah hulu sungai Sebayang Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Hulu provinsi Riau dan  hanya bisa ditempuh dengan perahu. Kondisi ini  menyebabkan desa tersebut sulit  dijangkau untuk pengembangan jaringan oleh Perusahaan Listrik Negara. Namun di desa tersebut banyak tersedia energi panas matahari. Teknologi pemanfaatan energi matahari menjadi energi listrik layak untuk diaplikasikan guna mengatasi permasalahan. Sejak 15 tahun lalu dikembangkan pembangkit listrik tenaga matahari sekarang dalam keadaan rusak. Kerusakan disebabkan kurang memahami perawatan dan tata cara operasional pembangkit listrik. Tujuan utama kegiatan pengabdian adalah untuk menerapkan teknologi pembangkit listrik tenaga surya dan perawatan dalam rangka mengatasi krisis energi di desa Batu Sanggan. Pemasangan, perawatan dan perbaikan pembangkit dilakukan dengan mengajarkan masyarakat agar bertanggung jawab untuk operasional selanjutnya. Pergantian komponen seperti baterai, charger, inverter dan perawatan pada solar sel dan jaringan kabel listrik telah dilakukan. Disamping itu juga diberikan pemahaman tentang prosedur perawatan dan pengoperasian pembangkit kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan ini telah berhasil memperbaiki dan memfungsikan kembali pembangkit listrik tenaga surya di tempat fasilitas umum, yaitu sekolah, posyandu dan tempat ibadah.

Abstract

In the Industrial 4.0 era, almost all activities and transactions are carried out via the internet, which basically uses web technology. For this reason, it is absolutely necessary to have a high-performance web server infrastructure capable of serving all the activities and transactions required by users without any constraints. This research aims to design a high-performance (high availability) web server infrastructure with low cost (low cost) and energy efficiency. low power) using Cluster Computing technology on the Raspberry Pi Single Board Computing and Docker Container technology. The cluster system is built using five raspberry Pi type 4B modules as cluster nodes, and the Web server system is built using docker container virtualization technology. Meanwhile, cluster management uses Docker Swarm technology. Performance testing (Quality of Service) of the cluster system is done by simulating a number of loads (requests) and measuring the response of the system based on the parameters of Throughput and Delay (latency). The test results show that the Raspberry Pi Cluster system using Docker Swarm can be used to build a High Availability Server system that is able to handle very high requests that reach Throughput = 161,812,298 requests / sec with an Error rate = 0%.

Abstract

Desa Tanah Merah merupakan salah satu desa yang ada di kecamatan Siak Hulu, Kabupaten Kampar, Provinsi Riau. Saat ini seluruh proses administrasi desa dikerjakan manual, disamping itu jumlah tenaga kerja di kantor desa terbatas sehingga pelayanan di kantor desa cukup memakan waktu. Tim Universitas Riau melakukan kegiatan berupa pembuatan sistem informasi administrasi berbasis web dan mobile. Pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini tim pengabdian menerapkan suatu teknologi dengan membangun Sistem Informasi Desa berupa website yang berisi informasi tentang desa, dan sistem administrasi surat berbasis web dan mobile untuk membantu pegawai kantor dan masyarakat desa Tanah Merah dalam mengajukan surat keterangan domisili, keterangan untuk mencari pekerjaan dan keterangan untuk menikah. Sistem ini digunakan oleh pegawai kantor desa dalam mengelola administrasi kantor desa, aplikasi mobile digunakan oleh masyarakat desa melakukan pendaftaran dan permintaan surat keterangan yang diperlukan. Sistem informasi desa telah dapat diakses secara online dengan alamat www.desatanahmerah.com dan aplikasi Android telah dapat diunduh melalui Playstore.

Abstract

Developers often use a software development model, namely the waterfall or classical models. Waterfall uses a systematic approach, so it tends to be archaic and will cause significant problems. The problems appeared when the process at the previous stage experiences happened, so the process could not go to the next stage. In addition, the tests were carried out for the solution to the problem. There was a need for a v-model development model. This model is the waterfall model development, then described in the form of v, and there was testing in each phase. This V-Model is an excellent model because it has good illustrations and clarity. The Website Learning Management System is built using the PHP programming language. Based on the results of the testing unit, the software used whitebox, and all units could run 100% well. Meanwhile, integration testing and testing systems using black boxes were 100% running well. Acceptance testing using ISO 25010 consisted of eight characteristics: functionality, efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, maintainability, security, and portability. These aspects could run well.

Abstract

Depresi dalam masa kehamilan merupakan masalah kesehatan mental yang paling sering dialami oleh ibu. Kondisi ini menyebabkan ibu kurang peduli dengan kesehatan kehamilannya yang berdampak negatif terhadap pertumbuhan janin, resiko persalinan prematur sehingga berat badan bayi lahir rendah dan bayi kurang responsive terhadap stimulus. Memahami secara kualitatif kondisi ibu hamil yang mengalami gejala depresi masih terbatas penelitiannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi persepsi ibu hamil terhadap gejala depresi. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi yang dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pekanbaru dengan jumlah partisipan 10 orang ibu hamil yang diambil secara purposive sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel dengan kriteria terdeteksi mengalami gejala depresi setelah mengisi lembar kuesioner Edinburgh Postnatatal/Perinatal Depression Scale (EPDS) dengan nilai minimal 7 (Mild depression). Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara mendalam yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Ditemukan tiga tema dari hasil analisis 1) Perubahan perilaku akibat suasana emosi yang tidak stabil, 2) Faktor internal dan eksternal  menjadi penyebab perubahan suasana emosi, 3) Pengendalikan suasana emosi membutuhkan berbagai dukungan. Disarankan ibu hamil membuka diri mengungkapkan suasana hati kepada orang terdekat, mengikuti aktifitas yang disenangi untuk meningkatkan suasana hati positif dan adanya program layanan kesehatan psikologis bagi ibu hamil saat kunjungan antenatal care

Abstract

21st-century technology requires everyone to see and continue to advance in learning in various forms. Technology is a reference in the success of the learning process supported by the quality of teaching, teaching staff, and curriculum. The Physics Education Study Program at the University of Riau in its learning still uses conventional methods. Learning is only carried out by students and lecturers in class in a short time so students often do not understand the material provided. Based on these problems, we need a learning management system. The goal is to add a limited amount and short meeting time. The system was built using the PHP and MySQL programming languages with the CodeIgniter framework. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method and software development uses the System Development Life Circle (SDLC) method with a variation of the v-model. Based on software testing using a black box, all features run 100% well and the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) test found that the Learning Management System has good appeal, clarity, and certainty. While efficiency is categorized as very good, stimulation and novelty are included as above average.

Abstract

Ilmu kimia dipandang sebagai salah satu ilmu yang cukup sulit dan kurang menarik untuk dipelajari oleh kebanyakan siswa. Diantara penyebab siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar kimia adalah kurangnya minat perhatian siswa pada proses pembelajaran dalam kimia. Penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi merupakan cara yang efektif dan efisien untuk meningkatkan minat serta kualitas pembelajaran dan hasil belajar di sekolah. Selanjutnya, untuk mempermudah siswa agar memahami materi pelajaran terutama kimia tersebut dibuatlah media pembelajaran dimana modul dengan model magazine (majalah) dikombinasikan dengan aplikasi menggunakan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR). Aplikasi ini mengimplementasikan metode Marker Based Tracking dan Markerless Augmented Reality. Beberapa tahap perancangan aplikasi adalah seperti mengumpulkan data tentang modul, desain antarmuka, database, informasi yang ditampilkan dan build aplikasi kedalam bentuk Android package (Apk). Selanjutnya untuk membangun aplikasi ini digunakan tools seperti Unity 3D, Vuforia Object Scanner, Vuforia SDK, Android SDK, Java Development Kit, Adobe Photoshop, dan Adobe Premiere Pro. Penelitian ini menghasilkan aplikasi Augmented Reality berbasis Android yang dapat secara sukses menampilkan isi materi lebih lanjut pada modul yang telah tersedia berupa video penjelasan materi tentang termokimia.

Abstract

Sang Nila Utama Museum is a regional museum located in Riau Province that stores and exhibits historical objects, especially objects used by indigenous tribes in Riau. To make it easier for visitors to find out information about historic objects, software application is made with Augmented Reality (AR) Technology. This application implements the method of Marker Based Tracking and Markerless Augmented Reality. Several stages of application designed such as collecting data from the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Sang Nila Utama Museum like as design an interface, buliding up and database and information displayed, put in the application designed in to Android package (Apk). To build this designed application, tools such as Unity 3D, Vuforia Object Scanner, Vuforia SDK, Android SDK, Java Development Kit, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro are used. Abstract

Cooperation is a legal entity established by a person or cooperation legal entity. Sumber Rezeki multipurpose cooperation is a cooperation that is in Kotalama Subdistrict, Kunto Darussalam District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. This cooperation used a manual way to pay the salary of all members and the employees. The member had the highest authorityin the cooperation, and the employee is who managed the cooperation. It is developed a Payroll Information System of cooperation members using Visual Basic to ease the process ofpaying the salary. The method used to plan the Information System is Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Method with Waterfall Model and Visual Basic programming. In this research, it is developed a Payroll Information System that can ease process of salary payingof cooperation members and cooperation employees. This System can facilitate salary data managing and share information needed by the employees. The Payroll Information Systemdeveloped can calculate the salary that would be received by the members and employees. At the beginning, payroll data are managed manually in the form of a hardcopy. Now, by usingdatabase system all the payroll data are saved in the database, and data can be printed out when the data are needed. If the members want to know the information about their group,they should find the employees. Now, by using Payroll Information System, all information can be received through the system developed.Keywords: Salary Information System, Cooperation, SDLC Methods.
