Abstract

This research aims to develop teaching materials based on the Book Creator application which is supported by the use of digital websites to increase students' understanding of cultural diversity in Indonesia. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D), which is a systematic approach designed to create new products or innovations. The analysis results from the questionnaire show that Book Creator-based teaching materials assisted by digital websites obtained the following average scores: 95.99% from material experts, 97.41% from design experts, 92.11% from teachers, and 89.27 % of student responses. After testing. The students' pretest results showed an average score of 47, while the average score on the posttest increased to 80, which shows an increase in student understanding by 33. Technology-based teaching materials that utilize Book Creator are designed to increase students' interest in learning, encourage their active participation, and maximize learning outcomes. Apart from that, other digital platforms, such as Canva, can also support the learning process. Canva is a bold design application that allows the creation of various works such as posters, graphics, brochures, presentations, logos, videos, and even book covers. Using Book Creator with the help of digital websites can be an effective alternative in encouraging students' enthusiasm for learning, so that their understanding of the material can increase significantly.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to foster children’s independence in worship through mentoring on the practice of ablution (wudhu) and prayer (sholat) at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Jihad. The activity was motivated by preliminary observations showing that most first and second-grade students already recognized the basic procedures of wudhu and sholat but still needed guidance in mastering the correct order of movements and recitations. Therefore, this mentoring program was carried out as an effort to develop students’ religious character from an early age through direct practice and habituation in the school environment. The implementation method used a participatory and educative approach consisting of several stages, including initial observation, collaborative planning with teachers, mentoring in wudhu and sholat practices, and final evaluation. The activity was carried out collaboratively among students, teachers, and university mentors, creating an active, interactive, and joyful learning atmosphere. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ independence and understanding in performing wudhu and sholat correctly. Students were able to memorize the sequence of wudhu, perform prayer movements more accurately, and worship with greater focus and discipline without constant supervision. Teachers also reported increased student awareness and consistency in performing daily prayers after the mentoring sessions. Overall, this program had a positive impact on fostering the habit of worship in the school environment and demonstrated that hands-on practice combined with exemplary guidance is an effective approach to instill religious values and build independent character in young learners

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop teaching materials in the form of interactive textbooks on the subject of Rukun Iman (the Five Pillars of Islam) for MIS NU students in Palangkaraya City. The motive for this study is the need for more contextual and relevant teaching resources on Aqidah Akhlak (Islamic beliefs and morals) in order to optimize students' understanding. The ADDIE development model, which includes the phases of needs analysis, product design, development, implementation, and evaluation, was used in this study. Validation was carried out by subject matter experts, design experts, and educators as practitioners to ensure the suitability of the product. Based on the validation results, subject matter experts and designers consistently rated the teaching materials as “very feasible” in terms of media functionality, visual appeal, and material completeness. Improved learning outcomes through pre- and post-tests, as well as a feasibility rate of 93.02%, were demonstrated during implementation in a field test with 30 second-grade students. Moderate to significant learning gains were shown by N-Gain analysis. The findings prove the effectiveness of interactive learning books in improving students' understanding of the Five Pillars of Islam and providing alternative teaching resources that are more interesting and easier to understand. It is hoped that this publication will serve as a guide for educators in Islamic elementary schools to maximize the teaching of Aqidah Akhlak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pendidikan agama dalam membentuk sikap religius dan kemampuan ibadah siswa, khususnya dalam menghafal niat sholat. Permasalahan yang ditemukan adalah rendahnya kemampuan siswa kelas III MIS Al-Jihad Palangka Raya dalam menghafal dan melafalkan niat sholat jamak dan qashar secara benar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode talaqqi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan hafalan siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 28 siswa, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan hafalan siswa secara signifikan. Rata-rata nilai meningkat dari pra-siklus ke siklus berikutnya, disertai peningkatan ketuntasan klasikal dan efektivitas pembelajaran. Metode talaqqi terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hafalan niat sholat serta menumbuhkan sikap disiplin dan tanggung jawab siswa dalam pembelajaran Fiqih

Abstract

This study aims to find out the application of guidance for reading the Qur'an for fourth grade students of MIS Muslimat NU Palangka Raya City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the guidance program is carried out systematically through madrasah support, individual mentoring, and the application of the Iqra method as basic learning and the Tilawati method to improve the fluency and accuracy of reading. The findings of the study revealed that some students still have difficulty in recognizing and reciting hijayah letters, especially in distinguishing between long and short readings (mad and qashr), which are influenced by differences in students' learning ability, comprehension, and focus level. To overcome these obstacles, teachers apply strategies in the form of special attention, practice and repetition of reading, effective time management, and motivation so that students are more concentrated and confident. The results of the study confirm that intensive, gradual, and continuous guidance is effective in supporting the improvement of students' Qur'an reading skills.
