Abstract

Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa: Satisfaction with Life Scale (α = 0,742); Scale of Possitive and Negative Experience (α = 0,970); Connor- Davidson Resilience Scale (α = 0,86); dan Skala Self-Compassion (α = 0,788).

Abstract

Work productivity is a key indicator in achieving organizational goals, particularly in group-based work that requires active individual contributions. One challenge that can hinder productivity is social loafing, a tendency for individuals to exert less effort when working in groups than when working alone. This study aimed to examine the relationship between social loafing behavior and employee productivity. A quantitative approach with a non-experimental correlational design was employed. The study involved 94 production employees selected through purposive sampling, based on criteria: active employment status, a minimum of six months of work experience, and current involvement in team-based tasks. Data were collected using two psychological scales developed based on the theories of Chidambaram & Tung (social loafing) and Simamora (work productivity). Data analysis was conducted using Pearson correlation to examine the relationship between variables. The results indicated that the hypothesis was accepted, revealing a significant negative correlation between social loafing and work productivity (r = -0.628; p = 0.000). The coefficient of determination showed that social loafing accounted for 39.4% of the variance in employee productivity. The study concludes that higher levels of social loafing are associated with lower levels of work productivity. These findings underscore the importance of implementing individual-level evaluations within group work to reduce the emergence of social loafing and enhance accountability. This study contributes to the literature by expanding the examination of social loafing into real-world organizational settings, specifically among production employees in Indonesia, and provides practical insights for designing team structures that promote individual accountability.

Abstract

Depression is a significant mental health issue among working mothers, which can negatively impact their quality of life and family well-being. One potential approach to mitigating the risk of depression is mindful parenting, which involves paying full attention and awareness to the present moment in interactions with children. This research investigates the association between the practice of mindful parenting and the prevalence of depressive symptoms among employed mothers. This research employs a quantitative correlational approach, involving 100 working mothers selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using the Mindful Parenting Scale and the Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II), and analyzed using Spearman's correlation test. The results indicate a significant negative relationship between mindful parenting and depression (r = -0,317, p = 0,001). This finding suggests that higher levels of mindful parenting are associated with lower levels of depression in working mothers. Conversely, lower levels of mindful parenting are associated with higher levels of depression. The study's conclusion posits that mindful parenting may act as a buffer, mitigating the risk of depression for working mothers. Based on these findings, it is recommended to develop and implement mindfulness and mindful parenting training programs as part of mental health support for working mothers.

Abstract

Kata Kunci: Cyberstalking, Kontrol Diri, Media Sosial, Remaja Akhir   AbstractThis study aims to identify the relationship between self-control and cyberstalking behavior in late adolescents in Indonesia. The research method used is quantitative correlational with a non-probability sampling technique through convenience sampling. Participants in this study were 153 adolescents aged 18-22 years who actively use social media. Data were collected using a cyberstalking scale and a self-control scale with proven reliability. The results showed a significant positive relationship between self-control and cyberstalking behavior (r= .220; p = .006). These findings indicate that late adolescents with high self-control tend to have high levels of cyberstalking behavior. This result differs from previous findings which showed a negative relationship between self-control and cyberstalking behavior. The implications of this study highlight the need for a more comprehensive approach to understanding the factors influencing cyberstalking behavior, especially among late adolescents. Keywords: Cyberstalking, Self-Control, Social Media, Late Adolescents
