Abstract

Career guidance is a significant type of guidance in SMA and MA. Career counseling is an effort to assist individuals in knowing and understanding themselves, learning about the world of work, and developing their future with the expected form of life. This study aims to describe the implementation of the guidance and counseling program in achieving career maturity for class XII students at SMA Kartika VIII-1, South Jakarta. This is very necessary to research because guidance and counseling services in secondary schools help students plan and develop their future careers. Descriptive technique with a quantitative approach, Thus, 38.7% is obtained in the high career decision-making category, 58.1% in the medium career decision-making category, and as much as 3.2% in the low decision-making category. According to data collected from 31 respondents, students' career maturity after the Science study program at SMA Kartika VIII-1 is as expected.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the validity and reliability of the academic stress instrument developed by Sun, Dunne, & Hou (2011). This study uses a quantitative approach. The sampling technique uses the probability sampling method, namely cluster random sampling. The population in this study were students at the elementary, junior high school, senior high school,vocational school, and students with an age range of 12-19 years. The academic stress instrument has 16 favorable statement items. This scale uses a Likert scale model which has 5 alternative answers. The five alternative answers are Strongly Disagree (STS), Disagree (TS), Enough, Agree (S), Strongly Agree (SS). The results showed that 16 items were declared valid with an r count > 0.195 and an alpha reliability of 0.036.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is one of the many obstacles in the student learning process. The negative impact of procrastination is that students can become individuals who are always looking for excuses when doing school assignments they don't like. This study used a descriptive method, non-probability sampling was carried out for convenience, consisting of 30 students of SMA class XI of the People's College 2. From the results of the student development instrument assessment conducted at the People's College 2 High School revealed that there were three lowest aspects, namely the Foundation of Religious Life , Emotional Maturity and Awareness of Responsibility. Of the three lowest aspects of Classical related to the Foundation of Religious Life, Emotional Maturity and Awareness of Responsibility. Aspect number one contains the Foundation of Religious Life with results (<4.43), aspect number 3 namely Emotional Maturity with results (<4.45) and aspect number 5 namely Awareness of Responsibility with values (<4.5). These results are significant with the results of the Academic Procrastination Scale (APS) instrument which shows the highest percentage of academic procrastination at 50.0%. So the BK teacher will create a BK program to overcome academic procrastination by focusing on BK services by providing Group Counseling services with the theme "Academic Procrastination of Students).

Abstract

The guidance and counseling program is an effort to help individuals improve their communication skills, learn about good ways of communicating, and respect the other person. This study aims to describe the implementation of the guidance and counseling program in improving the communication skills of class VII students of SMP. this really needs to be researched because guidance and counseling services in junior high schools help students to practice interpersonal communication skills. Descriptive technique with a quantitative approach, thus obtained 69.4% in the category of medium communication skills, and as much as 30.6% in the category of low communication skills. According to data collected from 36 respondents, the students' communication skills were sufficient as expected for grade VII junior high school level.

Abstract

This study aims to adapt and validate the Indonesian version of the Revised Cyber Bullying Inventory II (RCBI II) instrument for high school students in Indonesia. Researchers conducted a confirmatory analysis (CFA) and found out the adaptation scale of Revised Cyber Bullying Inventory II (RCBI II) that can be applied in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative method of psychometric properties. The research sample was 200 high school students in Indonesia. Data analysis used Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) in the Linear Structural Relationship (Lisrel) program. Based on the Goodness of Fit Statistics, the model fit was obtained with the values: RMSEA: 0.045; ECVI: 1.67; NFIs: 0.87; CFI: 0.94; RFI: 0.83; GFI: 0.91; AGFI: 0.87. The conclusion from the research results is that the Indonesian version of the Revised Cyber Bullying Inventory II (RCBI II) instrument is suitable for use by students in high schools in Indonesia.

Abstract

Information technology-based Bk assessment is a process of collecting, processing, analyzing, interpreting and reporting data or information by utilizing information and communication technology. Information and communication technology is able to facilitate and improve all assessment practices in schools. So that it can help improve the results of the validity and reliability of test results as well as provide an efficient and valid assessment of counseling alliances.This study uses a development model (Research and Development) with a procedural model that is descriptive describing the steps to produce a product. The product referred to in this development is the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) program on academic procrastination assessment. The applications that we will introduce are Google forms, Quizizz and Kahoot. the application of research and development is carried out through three stages; 1). Mode Pre-Development Stage, 2). Model development stage and 3). Model Implementation Stage.The results of the study show that the Computer Assisted Testing (CAT) based assessment is more optimal than the implementation of manual tests using paper. Because CAT is able to display dynamic and interactive visuals, icons, animations, and sounds. The score results can be directly seen by students and the counseling teacher can directly import the assessment results data from the platform used into the data storage system

Abstract

This study aims to utilize media technology to develop counseling services for students. The method used is a literature review study, articles are searched through the database using Google Scholar, which were published from 2019 to 2023 and were written in English and Indonesian. Based on the data synthesis, 19 selected articles were studied and input prepared by the reviewers for analysis. design, along with the results and conclusions of each paper. Qualitative, quantitative research and review articles are included to have a broader picture of this subject. The results of this study are good language skills, this is a source of strength from implementing online counseling using chat features good language skills, this is a source of strength from implementing online counseling using chat features the use of information technology can improve planning and career maturity in students. Online counseling takes the form of virtual e-counseling technology media in the form of: websites, telephone/mobile phones, email, video conferencing, chat, instant messaging, computers and other social media networks which are now growing more and more easily accessible via smartphones. The survey shows that the type of counseling media application feature that is most widely used by students and counseling teachers is chat (93.75%). BK teachers about the duration of online counseling that students often do between 20-60 minutes, reported by 57.5% of counseling teachers.

Abstract

The method used in this research is a literature study by collecting several sources of previous research that discuss the same topic as the research to be conducted, namely from 6 journals. The purpose of this research is to describe how the implementation and benefits of the application of web-based guidance and counseling at the SMK level and to determine the effectiveness of using the application of website-based guidance and counseling at the SMK level. Based on the findings from 6 journals, it shows that the application of website-based guidance and counseling applications at the SMK level is very effective and good for application to students, because there are many conveniences for counseling teachers at school.

Abstract

BK teachers have an important role in developing guidance and counseling programs for students. Based on the results of the need assessment of SMPN 3 Kragilan students, it shows that the main problems occur in the personal sector, so the purpose of this study is to find out how the success of the counseling program is designed in accordance with the need assessment, evaluation and follow-up of the counseling program that has been implemented, as well as obstacles in implementation of the BK program in schools. The method used in this study is a naturalistic qualitative approach, data collection is done through observation, interviews and documentation.

Abstract

Purpose: The aim of this study isĀ  to describe the profile of Psychological well-being of grade 6 students and as a basic arrangements of guidance and counseling program in elementary schools. Method: The technique used for this study is a descriptive technique with a quantitative approach, collecting data using the SCWBS instrument. The subjects for this study were 80 students of grade VI from a private school in Lampung with an age range of 11-12 years. Conclusion;The results in this study obtained 31. 3% of students with the psychological well-being in the high category, 56.3% in the medium category and 12.5% in the low category. Based on the analysis of the data, the psychological well-being of grade 6 in one of the private elementary school Lampung that using SCWBS psychological well-being instrument is in the moderate category and forms the basis for preparing a program in schools with a mindfulness approach to improve students' psychological well-being
