Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang sangat cepat membantu semua aspek kehidupan. Salah satunya adalah dunia pendidikan, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi maka akan meningkatkan efesiensi di segala bidang. Pada penulisan kali ini penulis akan membahas tentang bagaimana cara merancang sebuah sistem aplikasi pelatihan dan pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 1 Tigo Nagari dengan konsep e-learning. Penulis menganalisa dan merancang infrastruktur sistem aplikasi yang akan dibangun. Basis data yang digunakan dalam pembuatan aplikasi dengan konsep e-learning menggunakan MySQL. Permodelan UML menggunakan ASTAH, sedangkan untuk proses desain dan pengkodean menggunakan Macromedia Dreamweaver 8. Hasil penelitian tugas akhir ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pelatihan dan pembelajaran ini berlangsung secara online dan terkomputerisasikan dengan baik.

Abstract

The selection of outstanding students in elementary schools is a crucial process in education to provide appreciation and motivate students to achieve both academic and non-academic excellence. SDN 36 Lubuk Batu faces challenges in selecting outstanding students because assessments are not solely based on academic grades but also include other aspects such as discipline, participation in extracurricular activities, and social behavior. To address this issue, this study implements the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method as a decision support system for selecting outstanding students. The SAW method was chosen for its ability to process multiple criteria objectively by assigning specific weights to each assessment aspect. The study results indicate that implementing the SAW method enhances the accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of the student selection process. Thus, the implementation of the SAW method can be an effective solution for improving the quality of student selection systems in elementary schools..

Abstract

In the competitive honey industry, selecting the best reseller is a key factor in enhancing distribution effectiveness and business growth. Rumah Madu Syahara faces challenges in objectively evaluating reseller performance. Therefore, this study applies the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method to determine the best reseller based on six main criteria: total sales, order frequency, reseller loyalty, payment timeliness, product returns, and promotional activity. Data from ten active resellers were analyzed through the TOPSIS method, including normalization, weighting, and determining positive and negative ideal solutions. The results indicate that the reseller coded A6, named Wahyu Fitri, achieved the highest preference score of 0.8462, making them the best reseller. This study proves that the TOPSIS method is effective in objectively and data-driven reseller evaluation. The findings can serve as a reference for businesses to improve reseller performance and optimize marketing strategies.

Abstract

Baznas Kota Padang memiliki peran strategis dalam pengelolaan zakat, infak, dan sedekah yang menuntut kinerja pegawai yang profesional dan akuntabel. Namun, sistem penilaian kinerja yang digunakan saat ini masih manual belum terintegrasi secara digital. Kegiatan PkM ini bertujuan untuk membuat aplikasi penilaian kinerja pegawai berbasis web. Aplikasi dibuat menggunakan model Sistem Pendukung Keputusan metode TOPSIS dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu Mengumpulkan data alternatif, data kriteria yang diberi nilai bobot, data sub kriteria, data penilaian seluruh alternatif, data perhitungan dan hasil akhir. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap: pra-persiapan, persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi.  Hasil kegiatan yang diperoleh adalah Mitra PkM menjadi lebih mudah melakukan penilaian dan aplikasi mendukung pencapaian target kinerja lembaga dengan adanya aplikasi berbasis web didukung dengan hasil evaluasi melalui pengisian kuesioner bahwa responden memberikan nilai 77,8%. Kesimpulan akhir adalah diharapkan program PkM ini dapat terus berkelanjutan, sehingga Baznas Kota Padang bisa bertransformasi menuju evaluasi kinerja pegawai yang lebih terstruktur dengan dukungan aplikasi.

Abstract

Dual security system on motorcycles using fingerprint sensors and RF remote control using ESP 8266 based on the Internet of Things (IoT) as an efficient motorcycle security tool that provides a sense of security for vehicle owners is needed because of the rampant motorcycle theft. This study uses the Research and Development or RnD method. The dual security system on motorcycles is controlled via a microcontroller. RF remote control to open the solenoid as a double lock, data is processed by Arduino Mega and activates the system in the circuit. To activate the motorcycle, select the password input on the matrix keypad or scan fingerprint, If there is an error in the input, the buzzer will sound as a warning alarm and send the location to Telegram. After testing, the results obtained from this test show that integration between RF remote control, fingerprint, and IoT using ESP 8266 can provide a higher level of security and efficiency in preventing motorbike theft. With this prototype, a more reliable and modern double safety system can be applied to motorbikes, reducing dependence on conventional safety systems which are more susceptible to security risks.

Abstract

The integration of information technology in everyday life has changed the way people work, learn, socialize, make transactions, and make decisions. The use of Android-based smartphones is a real example of the use of technology. Android, which is open-source, has encouraged the development of applications widely according to need. Access to water is a fundamental human right. PAMSIMAS is a flagship program of the regional and central governments that seeks to meet water needs through the provision of clean water services in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In Durian Seribu Village, PAMSIMAS is a service to meet the water needs of the community and become a solution for rural communities to get clean water at low cost, but its management is still manual, such as recording water usage and billing, so it is inefficient, time-consuming, and prone to errors. From these problems, this study proposes the development and implementation of an Android application designed to simplify the recording and billing process for the PAMSIMAS program in Durian Seribu Village. This application aims to simplify management, increase data transparency, and simplify reporting. The results of tests that have been carried out using the black box method show that this application can facilitate officers in recording and billing payments for PAMSIMAS water usage. Officers only need to enter the total water usage, and the application will automatically calculate and print a receipt as proof of payment. Officers also do not need to calculate manually when reporting the total payment to the administrator. For administrators, this application makes it easier to monitor and evaluate the performance of recording officers. After the application was used for recording and billing, PAMSIMAS's revenue increased by around 30% from the revenue before using the application.

Abstract

PLUT KUMKM West Sumatra acts as a pioneer in supporting the development of MSMEs and Cooperatives through various services, including the field of human resources through training. Implementation of training that has limitations in reach and effectiveness. The main obstacle is the limited distance and time for MSME actors in remote areas and difficulty in monitoring and evaluating training. In the digitalization era, the application of Learning Management System (LMS) can be a solution to increase training flexibility and efficiency. This community service aims to develop LMS to facilitate training management, expand the reach of participants, and increase the effectiveness of training for MSMEs. LMS is designed using WordPress CMS with several additional plugins such as LMS tutors for material management, quizzes, and certificates, and WooCommerce plugins for participant registration management using a free coupon system. Development methods include needs analysis, system design, implementation, and trials. The LMS developed allows training to be carried out flexibly unlimited space and time as long as it has internet access, structured, and measurable. Features such as material management, online evaluation, and registration using coupons facilitate administration and increase the participation of MSME actors in all regions of West Sumatra. Utilization of LMS is effective in overcoming conventional training limitations because it does not have to be done face to face. By using LMS, PLUT KUMKM can expand the reach of training to regions, improve the quality of assistance, and support the acceleration of MSME digitalization in West Sumatra to develop, grow, and adapt in line with the development of the digital world.

Abstract

Rice is a staple food crop in Indonesia, including in West Sumatra Province, which plays an important role in national food security. This study aims to develop a rice production prediction model using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) with the Backpropagation algorithm. Historical rice production data from 2006 to 2023 in 19 regencies/cities in West Sumatra Province were used as the data basis. The research methods include data collection from BPS West Sumatra, data preprocessing, prediction process using the Backpropagation algorithm, and accuracy testing of the prediction results. The results show that ANN with the Backpropagation algorithm can predict rice production with an accuracy rate of 82.56% using an architecture with 16 neurons in the input layer, 9 neurons in the hidden layer, and 1 neuron in the output layer. This prediction model is expected to assist farmers and the government in planning optimal rice production, thereby increasing production and the welfare of farmers in West Sumatra Province. Thus, this research provides significant contributions in supporting decision-making in the agricultural sector, particularly in efforts to enhance food security and the welfare of farmers in the region
