Abstract

The cultivation of oyster mushroom (Pleorotus ostreatus) is not many expanded yet in Indonesia, either the exertion chance or the consumtion fulfillment of society. The objective research is to know the growt, production, storability, and the protein content  degree of oyster mushroom on the basic media of sawdust were mixed with some compositions of corn cob flour brand. The research was arranged on completely random design with treatments mixture of sawdust from jati wood with corn cob (15%,25%,35%) and brand (15%,25%,35%). Oyster mushroom growth were observed at seven days after inoculation. The data were analyzed by of Varian Analysis (ANOVA) and continued with Duncant Multiple Range Test (DMRT) on 5% level.Result showed that corn cob and brand were effective admixture to enhance oyster mushroom production. The optimal growth, production, and protein content is  found in the mixture of brand media with concentration 35% , while for corn cob  media with concentration 25% But for the storability of oyster mushroom the result showed that the corn cob and brand has not a significant influence

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the mechanism of heat transfer and water evaporation grain water during drying process using hot air as heat conducting media. This experiment is an experiment consisting of two variables, namely variable A is temperature with 3 level 50o, 60o and 70oC and variable B is drying time with 3 level 160, 170, and 180 minutes. The sample was wet grain with initial moisture content of 20.51% dried using a cabinet dryer. To determine the temperature changes that occur then the drying process is done by measuring the temperature of the environment / air and grain temperature using thermocouple. Before and after drying the water content is measured to determine the change of grain water level of each treatment used. The results showed that the higher temperature and the longer drying is used the higher heat transfer rate, the greater the evaporation of water, causing the grain water content to decrease

Abstract

This research is aim to know a work-development based on the supplying of nira nipah (sap of nipa palm) as a basic ingredient, production, labor, marketing, financial-feasibility, and work-development strategy. The subject of the study were 30 sap-incisor farmers and a palm sugar home industry in Pallantikang village. The feasibility analysis used were Benefit Cost Ration (BCR), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Break Event Point (BEP), and PBP (Pay Back Period) to know the feasibility of the work. SWOT matrices was used to build work-development strategy of the palm sugar home industry. The result of the study showed that the work-development strategy of a basic ingredient, production, labor, and marketing are suitably done in the research location. The financial-feasibility toward palm sugar home industry in Pallantikang village for the BCR, IRR, BEP (Unit), BEP (Rupiah), and PBP criterion is suitably done. Moreover, based on SWOT analysis, it is found a recommendation for this research that are increasing the operating income; work in cooperation with government to get a capital aid, tools, even training for the owner and the labors of palm sugar, and give a development and training for sap-incisors in order to not making ballo or fermented palm wine

Abstract

Salted eggs are eggs preserved by marinated. This research aims to determine the effect of variations  ripened of  salted egg with addition of coconut fiber ash on the chloride and protein content, and the level of hedonic. Variable of this research were the variations ripened time of 7, 14 and 21 days. The research design by using a completely randomized design (CRD) single factor. The Parameters of this research were the content of chloride and protein, and the level of hedonic. Data of the research were analyzed by using ANOVA variance analysis techniques to further test DMRT (Duncan Multiple range test). The results of this research showed that the best chloride content and level of hedonic ripened in 21 days treatment, while for the best protein content ripened in 7 days treatment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the chemical properties of instant drinks produced and the best concentration by adding noni and red ginger to the manufacture of instant drinks based on organoleptic test results. This research is an experimental study with an experimental design that is used is Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which consists of two factors, namely the factor A noni fruit, namely: 100 g, 200 g, 300 g. The red ginger B factor is: 75 g, 100 g, 125 g. The chemical analysis results were the highest water content with the addition of 300 g noni fruit concentration 2,8678 and 125 ginger concentration 2,9456, the highest antioxidant activity with the addition of 300 g noni fruit concentration 71,100 and red ginger concentration 125 g 70,0178, and from the alkaloid test all treatments in instant drinks contain positive alkaloids. The results of organoleptic color, aroma and taste are preferred by panelists with the addition of 100 g of noni fruit and the concentration of red ginger 125 g.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama waktu perendaman terhadap sifat-fisiko kimia tepung umbi gadung.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 4 perlakuan yaitu  0 jam perendaman, 48 jam perendaman, 72 jam perendaman, dan 96 jam perendaman dengan konsentrasi garam 5 % pengeringan menggunakan cabinet dryer suhu 60 ͦc selama 4 jam. Variabel yang diamati yaitu analisis kandungan proksimat tepung umbi gadung yaitu rendemen, viskositas, kadar air, kadar pati, amilosa, amilopektin dan asam sianida (HCN). Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 22.Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji DMRT (Duncan). Hasil penelitian lama waktu perendaman menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan perendaman 96 jam merupakan perlakuan terbaik untuk dilanjutkan kedalam pembuatan tepung. Perlakuan berpengaruh nyata terhadap rendemen 8,10 %, viskositas 8,13 rpm, kadar air 6,40 %, kadar pati 16,10 %, amilosa 9,09 %, amilopektin 7,01 %, asam sianida (HCN) 10,50 ppm. Secara keseluruhan tepung umbi gadung yang dihasilkan telah memenuhi syarat mutu yang telah ditetapkan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of artificial feed by adding cassava leaf flour (Manihot utillisima) to the water quality of the African catfish nursery pond (Clarias gariepinus). This study used the T test (one sample T test) to compare the treatment with artificial feed and commercial feed consisting of 3 replications. The feeding dose was 3% of the weight of the fish for 30 days of maintenance with the frequency of feeding twice a day. Parameters observed were NH3, NO2, NO3, pH, temperature, DO and survival of African catfish. The results showed that the provision of artificial feed in the African catfish nursery did not have a significant effect (P> 0.05) on the observed water quality parameters. The quality of water obtained during maintenance by providing commercial and artificial feed is still supporting the survival of African catfish.

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah kelompok masyarakat pembuat perahu tradisinal (mitra) memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan: (1) membaca gambar  kerja perahu nelayan lapisan fiber glass  lengkap  dengan  ukuran dan dimensi, (2) membentuk rangka papan atau multiplex perahu sebagai tulangan rangka perahu nelayan lapisan fiber glass, (3) merakit rangka papan atau multiplex sebagai tulangan rangka perahu nelayan lapisan fiber glass, (4) keterampilan memasang serat fiber gelas pada rangka papan atau multiplex sebagai tulangan rangka perahu nelayan lapisan fiber glass, (5) mencampur fiber glass lalu mengoleskan diatas serat fiber glass yang terpasang pada rangka perahu dari papan atau multiplex, (6) pekerjaan finising rangka perahu yang sudah dilapisi fiber glass, (7) membuat dudukan mesin / motor tempel dan guling (alat kemudi) dan ditempatkan pada bagian belakang perahu yang sudah dilapisi fiber glass. Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan program penerapan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) adalah kelompok masyarakat rawan luapan air Danau Tempe (mitra): (1) Meningkatkan pengetahuan  teknologi pembuatan kakus komunal konstruksi bambu, (2) Meningkatkan keterampilan mendesain teknologi kakus komunal konstruksi bambu, (3) Meningkatkan keterampilan teknologi rangka kakus komunal konstruksi bambu, (4) Meningkatkan keterampilan teknologi lantai dan dinding kakus komunal konstruksi bambu, (5) Meningkatkan keterampilan teknologi atap kakus komunal konstruksi bambu, (6) Meningkatkan keterampilan teknologi bak penampungan tinja kakus komunal konstruksi bambu, (7) Meningkatkan keterampilan pekerjaan finishing kakus komunal konstruksi bambu. Khalayak sasaran adalah kelompok masyarakat rawan luapan air Danau Tempe (khalayak sasaran yang dilatih langsung). Metode yang digunakan dalam penyampaian materi teknologi pembuatan kakus komunal konstruksi bambu menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab, sedangkan penerapan teknologi pembuatan kakus komunal konstruksi bambu menggunakan metode demonstrasi. Hasil Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) adalah kelompok masyarakat rawan luapan air Danau Tempe (mitra): (1) Memiliki pengetahuan teknologi pembuatan kakus komunal konstruksi bambu, (2) Memiliki keterampilan mendesain teknologi kakus komunal konstruksi bambu, (3) Memiliki  keterampilan teknologi rangka kakus komunal konstruksi bambu, (4) Memiliki keterampilan teknologi lantai dan dinding kakus komunal konstruksi bambu, (5) Memiliki keterampilan teknologi atap kakus komunal konstruksi bambu, (6) Memiliki keterampilan teknologi bak penampungan tinja kakus komunal konstruksi bambu, (7) Memiliki keterampilan pekerjaan finishing kakus komunal konstruksi bambu. Kata kunci: Kakus komunal, konstruksi bambu, luapan air, Danau Tempe

Abstract

Model pelatihan mendesain tekstil menggunakan adobe photoshop ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan model pengembangan pelatihan mendesain tekstil menggunakan adobe photoshop, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini penelitian pengembangan (R&D) untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru Tata Busana di Kabupaten Gowa. Tempat penelitian di SMK Negeri 2 Gowa dengan subjek uji coba adalah guru SMK Tata Busana Se-Kabupaten Gowa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan model pelatihan mendesain tekstil menggunakan adobe photoshop mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE dan telah memenuhi kriteria Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation sehingga dihasilkan silabus, skenario kegiatan pembelajaran, buku panduan model dan modul yang tervalidasi.
