Abstract

Abstrak. Mitra program ini adalah UPTD Museum Nekara dan Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Kepulauan Selayar. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mencatat uang koin berinskripsi Mandarin yang tersimpan di Mesum Nekara Kepulauan Selayar. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan, sebanyak 83 koin berhasil teridentifikasi, yang terdiri dari 4 koin Dinasti Tang, 78 Koin Dinasti Song Utara dan 1 koin Dinasti Song Selatan. Proses Identifikasi dilakukan melalui tahapan pembersihan koin, pembacaan inskripsi, dokumentasi, pemberian nomor koleksi, pencatatan dan presentasi. Program ini mendukung pelestarian budaya lokal serta memperkaya wawasan tentang hubungan historis antara Nusantara dan Tiongkok. Koin-koin ini menunjukkan adanya interaksi budaya dan ekonomi di masa lampau. Kata Kunci: Koin Kuno, Sejarah, Tiongkok, Kepulauan Selayar, Museum Nekara

Abstract

Kegiatan ini adalah kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk melaksanakan salah satu dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yaitu pengabdian kepada masyarakat, sekaligus menjadi wadah untuk program studi melakukan sosialisasi pengenalan kebudayaan Tiongkok yang menjadi representasi dari program studi Bahasa Mandarin dan Kebudayaan Tiongkok itu sendiri. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertema “Pengenalan Kebudayaan Tiongkok pada Anak sebagai Solusi Pengalihan dari Gawai”. Antusias siswa dalam menerima materi dengan menunjukkan dan menyampaikan kebiasaannya dalam penggunaan gawai sehari-hari. Melalui pengenalan permainan, pakaian, budaya Tiongkok memerikan kesan kepada siswa yang menyenangkan dan ketertarikannya dalam mengetahui beberapa benda dan permainan. Guru juga merasa senang mendapatkan ide dalam menerapkan metode mengajar bagi siswa TK untuk mengalihkan kebiasaan mereka dalam menggunakan gawai mulai bangun tidur hingga ditidurkan kembali dengan gawai.

Abstract

ABSTRACT 本研究采用定量描述性相关研究方法,旨在探究望加锡Frater 中学八年级学生汉语词汇掌握与简单句写作能力之间的关系。研究对象为该校八年级 154 名学生,通过目的抽样法选取 30 人作为样本。通过词汇掌握测试和汉语简单句写作测试收集数据。数据分析结果显示,相关系数 r_(计算) = 0.843 ≥ r_(表) = 0.361,表明望加锡 Frater 中学八年级学生的汉语词汇掌握与简单句写作能力之间存在显著相关性。关键词:关系、词汇掌握、写简单的汉语句子。ABSTRAKPenelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penguasaan kosakata bahasa Mandarin dengan keterampilan menulis kalimat sederhana siswa kelas VIII SMP Frater Makassar. Sujek dalam penelitian ini adalah 154 siswa kelas VIII SMP Frater Makassar dan sebanyak 30 siswa dipilih sebagai sampel melalui teknik Purposive Sumpling. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes penguasaan kosakata dan tes menulis kalimat sederhana dalam Bahasa Mandarin. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa koefisien korelasi rhitung = 0,843 ≥ rtabel = 0,361, yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara penguasaan kosakata dengan keterampilan menulis kalimat sederhana siswa kelas VIII SMP Frater Makassar.Kata Kunci: Hubungan, Penguasaan Kosakata, Menulis Kalimat Sederhana Bahasa Mandarin.

Abstract

This study explores the challenges and teaching methods designed to enhance Chinese vocabulary acquisition at the university level. Vocabulary acquisition is crucial for mastering a language, and in the case of Chinese, its complexity presents unique challenges for both learners and educators. The research employed a qualitative narrative design, conducting interviews with 10 Chinese language lecturers from various universities to gather insights into the methods and obstacles in vocabulary teaching. Data was collected using three primary methods: observations, questionnaires, and a comprehensive literature review. The findings of this study reveal a diverse range of approaches teachers employ. Approximately 60% of teachers adapt their methods based on student needs, indicating that flexibility and adaptability are key components of their teaching strategies. In contrast, 40% of teachers maintain a consistent teaching approach, believing that a structured framework helps students better understand the material and retain vocabulary. Despite these varied strategies, memory retention remains a significant challenge, with 50% of teachers reporting that their students struggle to retain Chinese vocabulary effectively. This highlights students' difficulty mastering a language with such a complex writing system. The study proposes a balanced approach, integrating flexible and consistent teaching methods, which are essential for overcoming the inherent challenges in Chinese vocabulary acquisition. Additionally, multimedia tools and digital technologies have effectively engaged students and enhanced vocabulary retention. The research concludes that refining current teaching methods—including structured routines, task-based learning, and spaced repetition—is necessary for improving student engagement and memory retention in Chinese language education.

Abstract

Abstract. The partner of this program is a primary school called SD Ujung Pandang. The target of this program is to provide illustrative image media based on the mnemonic strategies and assistance to teachers in teaching Hanzi in the Mandarin language class at primary school. The mnemonic strategies used are the pictograph and ideograph techniques. This activity is divided into four stages, namely, observation, preparation, implementation and evaluation. By providing media and showing the procedures for teaching Hanzi based on the mnemonic, teachers and students can effectively learn to remember Hanzi. Keywords: Mnemonic, Mandarin, Hanzi

Abstract

Driven by the “Chinese culture going global” strategy and the Belt and Road Initiative, cultural instruction has increasingly become a crucial component of international Chinese language education. Based on 487 CSSCI and core journal articles from the CNKI database published between 2016 and 2025, this study employs CiteSpace 6.3.R1 to analyze the research hotspots and evolutionary paths of this field from the perspectives of keyword co-occurrence, clustering, burst detection, and author–institution collaboration. The findings reveal that the research focus in cultural teaching has shifted from “traditional cultural dissemination” to “intercultural integration,” with key hotspots centering on tea culture, Confucius Institutes, and professional degree programs. Collaborative networks show a growing trend toward clustering, and several keywords exhibit strong burst intensity and long duration, indicating sustained academic attention in this field. This study helps clarify the knowledge structure of cultural instruction and provides theoretical support and practical guidance for future topic development, paradigm construction, and pedagogical innovation.

Abstract

The translation of chengyu is an essential aspect of Mandarin language studies, as these expressions contain figurative meanings and cultural values that cannot always be interpreted literally. However, users in Indonesia often face difficulties in obtaining accurate chengyu translations, especially when relying on automatic translation tools. This study aims to analyze the comparative results of translating 25 Mandarin chengyu using two AI-based translation tools, Deepseek and Google Translate. Employing a descriptive qualitative analysis method, the data were collected from the translation outputs of both tools and compared based on idiomatic accuracy, cultural contextualization, and translation fluency. The findings indicate that Deepseek tends to produce more natural and accurate translations, as it successfully preserves idiomatic meaning and Mandarin cultural context. In contrast, Google Translate more frequently generates literal and lexical translations, causing several chengyu to deviate from their intended figurative meanings. Of the 25 chengyu analyzed, 17 showed similarities in meaning, while 8 displayed differences, with Deepseek demonstrating superiority in terms of semantic accuracy and word choice. This study concludes that Deepseek is more effective for translating Mandarin chengyu into Indonesian, as it provides translations results that better reflect cultural values ada idiomatic nuances.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan seni dan budaya Tiongkok kepada masyarakat melalui pementasan Yishu Yu Wenhua yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa semester I Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Pementasan ini merupakan bagian dari proyek akhir perkuliahan yang menekankan pada kolaborasi, kreativitas, dan keterlibatan langsung mahasiswa dalam produksi karya budaya. Kegiatan menampilkan berbagai bentuk kesenian, seperti tarian, nyanyian, puisi, permainan tradisional, fashion show, makanan tradisional, kaligrafi, serta seni lukis khas Tiongkok. Metode kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan Project-Based Learning (PjBL) meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan proyek, pementasan serta evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap seni dan budaya Tiongkok, serta berkembangnya kemampuan mahasiswa dalam manajemen acara, komunikasi, dan apresiasi budaya lintas negara. Pementasan ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan PjBL efektif dalam mengintegrasikan pembelajaran bahasa dan budaya secara aplikatif melalui pertunjukan budaya.
