Abstract

This study investigates the impact of work-life conflict on work stress among Minangkabau women in diverse organizational settings. Data from 179 respondents were collected through purposive sampling using a survey approach. The research instrument incorporated variables such as perceived social support, work-life conflict, religiosity, and work stress. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were employed for data analysis. Results indicate a significant influence of work-life conflict and religiosity on work stress levels, underscoring its pivotal role in shaping employees' psychological well-being. However, hypotheses concerning perceived social support (PSS) were not supported, revealing the intricacy of these relationships. Hypothesis testing demonstrated a notable relationship between work-life conflict and work stress, while perceived social support exhibited no significant impact. The discussion highlights the imperative of managing work-life conflict for stress reduction. The complex interplay among religiosity, perceived social support, and stress levels, moderated by contextual factors, was acknowledged. Recommendations include further research on religiosity and stress, exploring factors influencing PSS, and an in-depth analysis of social support dynamics. In conclusion, this study enhances our comprehension of nuanced relationships impacting work stress, providing insights for future interventions and managerial strategies to foster a supportive work environment.

Abstract

The image of a tertiary institution is indicated by the quality of service perceived by students because the quality of service can also reflect the academic and non-academic quality of a tertiary institution. There have been many studies focusing on measuring the quality of services in higher education (using the Serqual measurement), therefore, this study aims to measure quality services by combining other approaches, namely HEdPERF and HiEDQUAL. Bung Hatta University was used as the research object (n=370 students). The university was selected because it is a reputable private university which was founded under the name one of the nation's proclamator with significant influence. Based on the results of data analysis using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) technique, it can be concluded that aspects of academic facilities and support services are in the quadrant that exceeds student expectations. On the other hand, the campus infrastructure aspect should be the main priority that must receive immediate attention, followed by the reputation, academic and program aspects which are quadrant positions that must be maintained while the administrative service aspect is in low priority positionKeywords: Service Quality, Higher Education, IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis), HedPERF, HiEDQUAL

Abstract

Social entrepreneurship is considered a new phenomenon as a field of research, and is seen as an answer to social problems that occur. Mission and creating social value is the key goal of social entrepreneurship. However, there is still limited research that focuses on raising the issue of ways/methods to increase interest in social entrepreneurship among students (social experiential learning). The urgency of this research can be seen in the results that will be produced, namely the creation of a development model/method of fostering interest in social entrepreneurship among students through short course. The results of this study where respondents will be given a short course with prepared material (pre-test vs. pre-test) show that there is a difference in the average proportion before and after training from the 5 dimensions of Social Entrepreneur Competency (SEC), namelypersonal competence, leadership, social innovation, social values and entrepreneurial management. Even though the small workshop concept is still on a small scale, the output of this technique can be an alternative way of fostering interest in social entrepreneurship among students. Universities can improve and evaluate the design of entrepreneurship education by involving more social learning. This process can foster deeper knowledge so that they are expected to have high social awareness by manifesting an interest in becoming social entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This study explores research trends and thematic patterns at the intersection of Innovative Work Behavior (IWB) and leadership through a bibliometric analysis using the Scopus database. The analysis includes 427 publications from 2019 to 2024. The bibliometric analysis was conducted using VOSviewer, a tool widely recognized for visualizing bibliometric networks. The software facilitated the identification of co-occurrence patterns, and thematic clusters. Keyword co-occurrence analysis revealed dominant themes such as "Innovative Work Behavior," "Transformational Leadership," and "Knowledge Sharing," while citation analysis identified influential authors and foundational works in the field. Cluster analysis highlighted interconnections between leadership styles, knowledge sharing, psychological safety, and organizational commitment, providing actionable insights into research gaps and emerging trends. Future research should explore Digital Leadership as a catalyst for innovation in hybrid work environments and Inclusive Leadership to enhance team-based innovation through psychological safety and diversity. Studies should also consider contextual factors such as cultural and sectoral differences, particularly in public and higher education institutions, to address the dynamic demands of modern organizations

Abstract

This systematic literature review synthesizes empirical evidence on the relationship between transformational leadership and innovative work behavior (IWB) across organizational contexts. Analyzing 11 high-quality studies from Scopus Q1 and Q2 journals (2018-2023), we identified three key findings: First, transformational leadership consistently enhances IWB through psychological empowerment, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. Second, the strength of this relationship depends on mediators (trust, knowledge sharing) and moderators (work environment, cultural context). Third, measurement approaches for IWB vary significantly across sectors, with most studies employing quantitative methods such as the Innovation Behavior Inventory. The review reveals important geographical patterns, with substantial contributions from Asian researchers. We highlight critical gaps in current research, including inconsistent operationalization of IWB and insufficient attention to sector-specific dynamics. Our findings suggest that organizations can foster innovation by developing transformational leaders while creating supportive environments. Future research should focus on developing cross-cultural IWB measures and examining underrepresented sectors. This study contributes to leadership and innovation literature by providing a comprehensive, evidence-based framework for understanding how transformational leadership drives workplace innovation.
