Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) menganalisis struktur forma, 2) mengkaji nilai-nilai dan 3) mengetahui fungsi Gaguritan Dharma Prawretti dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian sastra yang dikaji dengan metode kualitatif dan formal. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mimesis dan mitopoik. Jenis data yang dikumpulkan adalah data kualitatif dengan sumber data berupa data primer dan data sekunder yang dikumpulkan dengan cara pencatatan dokumen dan wawancara. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode pengolahan data secara induktif dengan teknik Miles dan Hubermen, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan simpulan. Berdasarkan pembahasan hasil penelitian, maka disimpulkan sebagai berikut. Struktur Forma dalam Gaguritan Dharma Prawretti, meliputi: (1) Ragam Bahasa yang digunakan, yaitu Bahasa Bali terdiri atas Basa Alus Singgih, Basa Alus Sor, Basa Alus Mider Dan Basa Andap, bahasa Kawi dan Bahasa Sansekerta; (2) Gaya Bahasa yang digunakan adalah paribasa Bali berupa sesawangan; serta (3) Kode Sastra yang membentuk Gaguritan Dharma Prawretti adalah sejumlah 306 bait pupuh, yang meliputi Pupuh Pucung, Ginanti, Ginada, Sinom, Durma, Adri, Pangkur, Kumambang dan Semrandana. Dalam Gaguritan Dharma Prawretti terdapat nilai yang terkandung, meliputi: (1) Nilai Pendidikan Susila/Etika yaitu Dasa Sila (Panca Yama Brata dan Panca Nyama Brata), Catur Prawretti, Sadripu, Dharma Tattwa, Dewi Sampat dan Asuri Sampat; (2) Nilai Sosial yaitu Catur Warna, Catur Paramita, Tri Parartha Tatwa, dan Catur Guru; (3) Nilai Religius yaitu Tri Sandya, Panca Sembah, dan Widhi Tattwa. Fungsi Gaguritan Dharma Prawretti ada tiga yaitu: (1) Fungsi pendidikan etika/susila; (2) Fungsi Sosial; (3) Fungsi Religius.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the moderating value contained in Geguritan Dharma Sunyata. The data in this study were collected using document study techniques. Furthermore, it is analyzed with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. From the results of data analysis, it was found that the value of religious moderation contained in Geguritan Dharma Sunyata was based on the teachings of Tat Twam Asi and Tri Kaya Parisudha. Tat Twam Asi's teachings are the basis of Hindu ethics in an effort to achieve moral improvement. Tat Twam Asi is a teaching that states the similarities between individuals so that it gives birth to the concept of compassion for all creatures in the world. Religious people should respect and appreciate each other even though they adhere to different religions.

Abstract

One of the goals to be achieved in an education both in formal and informal education is character building. The characters discussed are those related to morals, morals, and personality. It is called character when something is done with awareness and conviction and has become a habit. In simple terms, character education is to educate the awareness, belief and habituation of a person related to character / character / morals / personality. As a traditional literature, Geguritan Ki Balian Batur contains many values of life, one of which is the value of character education. By reading the geguritan text, readers will not only be entertained by the aesthetic strains of the tembang but also learn about how the value of character education is applied in real life. The values of character education contained in Geguritan Ki Balian Batur include: (1) religious, (2) national spirit, (3) respect for achievement, (4) peace-loving, (5) social care, and (6) responsibility. With the many values of character education in this geguritan, the authors suggest that educators and parents can use it as a learning medium considering that currently children are experiencing a moral crisis.

Abstract

This study has two objectives, namely to describe stylistics and semiotics in the lyrics of the song entitled "Angkihan Baan Nyilih". This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The literary approach used is a mythical approach and is combined with a mimetic approach. Data collection uses the document recording method. The data processing method is a descriptive method with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the stylistic elements contained in the lyrics of the song "Angkihan baan Nyilih" are phonemes/sounds, diction, syntactic forms, discourse and stanzas, language styles and imagery. The element of semiotics in the lyrics of the song "Angkihan baan Nyilih" is using the Semiotics theory of Ferdinand De Saussure, namely the existence of markers and signifieds.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the narrative structure and social problems in the novel Satyaning Ati. The data in this study were sourced from the novel Satyaning Ati by I Komang Alit Juliartha which was collected using reading, observing, copying and collecting techniques according to the required classification. After the data were collected, the data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The result of this research is that the novel Satyaning Ati is composed of a narrative structure including a synopsis, theme, character and characterization, plot, setting and message. The social problems contained in the novel include poverty, family disharmony, social inequality, homosexuality and environmental pollution. Hopefully, through this research, the government will be more sensitive and able to find solutions to social problems that are reflected in the novels that are real in the field.Keywords: novel of Satyaning Ati, sociology of literature

Abstract

Pada tingkat sekolah, bahasa Bali hingga saat ini masih menjadi salah satu mata pelajaran yang wajib diberikan kepada peserta didik. Meskipun sifatnya wajib, namun alokasi waktu yang diberikan masih minim sehingga peserta didik masih banyak yang memiliki pemahaman yang rendah terhadap pelajaran Bahasa Bali. Kondisi seperti itu hampir terjadi di sebagian besar wilayah di Bali, termasuk di Banjar Dinas Kebung Kauh Desa Telagatawang Kecamatan Sidemen Kabupaten Karangasem. Pendampingan belajar ini bertujuan untuk memberikan tambahan pengetahuan Bahasa Bali dan alternatif dalam proses belajar bahasa Bali yang menyenangkan sehingga stigma negatif tentang belajar bahasa Bali yang membosankan bisa berkurang khususnya pada anak-anak tingkat SD di Banjar Dinas Kebung Kauh Desa Telagatawang Kecamatan Sidemen Kabupaten Karangasem. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian ini bervariasi, mulai ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Proses pendampingan belajar dilaksanakan di Wantilan Pura Puseh Banjar Dinas Kebung Kauh selama delapan kali pertemuan pada hari Jumat dan Sabtu selama bulan Juni 2023. Materi yang diberikan selama kegiatan pendampingan antara lain keterampilan menyimak bahasa Bali, keterampilan berbicara bahasa Bali, keterampilan membaca bahasa Bali dan keterampilan menulis bahasa Bali. Hasil pengabdian ini berupa peningkatan pengetahuan bahasa Bali yang signifikan pada empat bidang keterampilan, yakni keterampilan menyimak, berbicara, membaca dan menulis.

Abstract

In recent years, the practice of code mixing in public communication in Bali has increased. Code mixing events can occur anytime and anywhere. One form of code mixing that has attracted attention is code mixing in pop song lyrics, especially Balinese pop songs. This is a concern in itself regarding the character of Balinese Pop songs, which were initially aimed at preserving Balinese art and culture, especially in terms of language, but have become something that seems to be forced solely for the sake of market demands. The formulation of the problem in this research is: 1) What is the form of code mixing in the lyrics of songs sung by Bagus Wirata 2) What factors encourage code mixing in the lyrics of songs sung by Bagus Wirata. The research approach used is an empirical method because the use of Balinese in the lyrics of Bagus Wirata's songs already exists naturally. The object of research in this research is the songs sung by singer Bagus Wirata. The data collection methods used were document study, observation and interviews.The research results are; 1. The form of code mixing in the lyrics of songs sung by Bagus Wirata is: The use of code mixing in the form of words is most often used in the lyrics of songs sung by Bagus Wirata with a total usage percentage of 63%. Code mixing in the form of clauses ranks second with a usage percentage of 19%. The remainder is code mixing in the form of phrases amounting to 13%, code mixing in the form of basters 3% and code mixing in the form of repeated words 2%. 2. Factors that encourage code mixing in the lyrics of songs sung by Bagus Wirata are; 1) language dominance, 2) language attitudes, 3) psycholinguistic motivation, 4) lack of equivalent words in Balinese, 5) commercial target market. 3. The impact of using code mixing on the Balinese language, namely; 1) destruction of the Balinese language system, 2) extinction of the Balinese language.

Abstract

The development of the times is so fast that it affects various things including student character. The importance of integrated character education in various lessons is no exception in the Lontar Transcript course in the Balinese Language Education Study Program. The integration of character education provides strengthening for students who will later become teachers so that they can provide strong character education values for their students. This study aims to analyze the character education values integrated in the lontar transcription of STKIP Hinduism Amlapura students. This research is a qualitative research, with the locus of research at STKIP Agama Hindu Amlapura. The type of data uses qualitative and quantitative data, while the data source uses primary and secondary data sources. Data collection methods use participatory observation methods and questionnaires. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. Based on the results of the study, it shows that students of STKIP Agama Hindu Amlapura internalize 17 character education values in the process of creativity of lontar transcripts, namely hard work, independence, religion, curiosity, responsibility, discipline, creativity, love for the country, honesty, love to read, respect for achievement, tolerance, democratic, peace-loving, communicative, environmental care, and social care. The process of internalizing character education values in STKIP Agama Hindu Amlapura students' lontar transcripts, including receiving, responding, selecting, internalizing, and applying values.

Abstract

Bali travel agencyis one form of Balinese culture that contains noble values ​​and has a great influence on the lives of Balinese people. Sloka is one type of Balinese paribasa classified by I Nengah Tinggen in his book entitled Aneka Rupa Paribasa Bali. In Bali, Sloka is known as one of the Balinese paribasa which is a figure of speech, which compares something with the state of objects, animals, and other characteristics in order to provide advice, deny, debate, and give advice to the listener in a subtle, precise, and precise way so that it will cause the listener to start the process of thinking about the intent or meaning of the sloka uttered by the speaker. The theories used in this study are value theory and sociology of literature theory. The type of research used is qualitative research. The data collection method used is document recording with processing techniques using non-statistical analysis techniques with induction and argumentation techniques. The results of this study are: 1). The social aspects contained in Balinese paribasa, especially sloka are cultural aspects and language aspects. The cultural aspect is seen from the daily life of Balinese people in their social interactions. While the language aspect is seen from the use of kepara or everyday language as the Balinese language of instruction. 2). The values ​​contained in several Balinese paribasa, especially sloka in this study are religious values, logical values, ethical values, and also aesthetic values.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertajuk pengenalan dasar jurnalistik untuk gerakan literasi sekolah yang lebih asyik. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat dan ketertarikan siswa terhadap literasi dengan cara-cara yang lebih asyik dan menyatu dengan program sekolah. Harapannya, kegiatan ini dapat menumbuhkan budaya literasi di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Datah yang masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam bidang sarana dan prasarana pengembangan literasi. Oleh karena itu, program yang dilaksanakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pengenalan literasi dasar, khususnya membaca dan menulis, dasar jurnalistik, dan pendampingan membuat karya. Karya tersebut digunakan sebagai bahan untuk membuat media literasi jurnalistik, semacam majalah dinding (mading), tetapi dibuat dalam bentuk rumah supaya lebih menarik dan asyik. Pada setiap sisi bidang luar rumah tersebut ditempeli berbagai karya yang sudah dibuat oleh siswa. Dengan program ini, peserta sangat antusias membuat karya dan mengembangkan literasinya.
