Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan literasi matematika siswa kelas X yang didasarkan pada indikator PISA (Level 1-6) dan kemampuannya memecahkan masalah deret aritmatika. Tujuan penelitian dicapai menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sampel terdiri dari 3 siswa yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling dari populasi siswa dalam satu kelas yang berjumlah 21 siswa. Setiap sampel mewakili kelompok siswa dengan kategori kemampuan matematika tinggi (tinggi (S1); sedang (S2), dan; rendah (S3). Data diambil menggunakan instrumen Tes Kemampuan Literasi Matematis dan melalui wawancara. Indikator untuk mengukur kemampuan literasi matematis siswa mengajc pada indikator dalam PISA. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan: (1) proses pembelajaran; (2) tes kemampuan literasi matematis; (3) analisis jawaban tes dan wawancara, dan; (4) analisis data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Analisis data dilakukan mengikuti prosedur dari Milles & Hubberman. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan: siswal (S1) mencapai indikator level 1-6; siswa (S2) memenuhi level 1-4, dan; siswa (S3) hanya mencapai indikator Level 1-2

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan literasi matematis siswa VIII yang diidentifikasi dari hasil tes pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV). Identifikasi pecapaian kemampuan literasi matematis siwa didasarkan pada indikator yang dikembangkan dari definisi Stacey. Instrumen untuk mengambildata berupa tes dan pedoman wawancara. Jumlah subjek yang terlibat mengerjakan tes 20 siswa, dan diambil 3 sampel siswa secara cluster random sampling untuk diwawancarai. Sampel yang diwawancarai masing-masing mewakili kelompok siswa dengan kemampuan rendah (S1); sedang (S2), dan tinggi (S3). Data yang dikumpulkan dianalis sesuai tahapan dari Milles & Hubberman. Hasil analisis data menyimpulkan sampel (S1) tidak dapat mencapai indikator (N1), yaitu mampu memahami masalah; sampel (S2) dapat mencapai indikator (N2), yaitu dapat menggunakan konsep, fakta, dan prosedur dalam merumuskan langkah-langkah penyelsaian matematika, dan; sampel (S3) dapat mencapai indikator (N3), yaitu dapat menyajikan dan menyelesaikan masalah matematika.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the achievement of students' mathematical literacy skills based on Stacey's definition. The achievement is measured using the answers to the basic linear function test results. The objectives are achieved using a descriptive qualitative approach. The indicators of achievement of mathematical literacy skills used are that students can: understand mathematical problems (I1); apply mathematical concepts (I2); use facts to formulate mathematical problems (I3), and; present and solve mathematical problems (I4). The subjects involved in the test consisted of 33 students, and then 3 students were selected by stratified random sampling to be interviewed, where each sample represents a group of students with high (S1), medium (S2), and low (S3) mathematical abilities. The instruments used to measure are test instruments and interview guidelines. The collected data were analyzed based on the Milles & Hubberman stages. The results of the data analysis concluded that students (S1) could achieve all indicators; students (S2) could not achieve the indicators of presenting and solving mathematical problems, and students (S3) could not achieve all the indicators set. Another finding is the existence of student self-confidence that affects their mathematical literacy skills

Abstract

Kegiatan pendampingan guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Halmahera Selatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika pada materi invers proporsi melalui strategi inovatif berbasis gaya kognitif. Program dilaksanakan secara sistematis selama 8 minggu pada September–Oktober 2025, meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta penyusunan panduan keberlanjutan. Metode yang digunakan bersifat partisipatif dan kolaboratif, melibatkan guru, kepala sekolah, dan tim pendamping perguruan tinggi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam merancang dan menerapkan pembelajaran adaptif terhadap perbedaan gaya belajar siswa (visual, auditori, kinestetik). Guru menjadi lebih reflektif, kreatif, dan percaya diri dalam memanfaatkan media digital serta teknologi sederhana, seperti Kahoot, Quizizz, dan video pembelajaran. Penerapan pendekatan inovatif ini berdampak positif terhadap pemahaman konseptual siswa, dengan rata-rata peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 27% berdasarkan hasil pretest–posttest pada 30 siswa menggunakan tes uraian (5 soal) dan pilihan ganda (10 soal). Selain itu, kegiatan ini membangun budaya kolaboratif dan reflektif di sekolah, serta menghasilkan panduan pembelajaran berbasis gaya kognitif untuk keberlanjutan inovasi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendampingan berbasis praktik reflektif dan pemanfaatan teknologi sederhana efektif dalam mengatasi tantangan mutu pendidikan di daerah terpencil. Rekomendasi diarahkan pada penguatan kapasitas guru dan pengembangan komunitas belajar digital. Selain itu, advokasi kebijakan pendidikan diperlukan untuk mendukung transformasi pembelajaran inovatif secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The numeracy skills of students in the schools studied are still low, although numeracy is a fundamental skill needed to understand mathematical ideas. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) in improving numeracy performance among fifth grade students in elementary schools who receive support from the national teaching placement program in Kebumen Regency. This study used a pre-experimental approach with a one-group pretest-posttest structure, involving all fifth graders selected through purposive sampling who took part in contextual learning activities related to daily living situations. Numeracy ability was measured using official government instruments provided before and after the intervention. The results showed a clear improvement in numeracy performance and highlighted increased student participation and a more positive response to math teaching when based on a real-world context. The study concludes that RME contributes to strengthening students' motivation, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, and is therefore recommended as an instructional approach to support the development of essential mathematics competencies in primary schools.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) tema kearifan Kuda Lumping kelas IV sekolah dasar di Purworejo. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif digunakan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data meliputi kepala sekolah, tim fasilitator, guru kelas IV, dan sampel siswa. Data dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain P5 sekolah dasar di Purworejo mencakup tiga tahapan utama: (1) Perencanaan: Kepala sekolah membentuk tim fasilitator, mengidentifikasi kesiapan sekolah, menentukan dimensi dan tema, mengalokasikan waktu dalam blok mingguan, serta menyusun modul projek; (2) Pelaksanaan: Mempelajari sejarah dan makna, Diskusi dan kreasi, Kunjungan ke sanggar seni, membuat properti:, dan Pentas seni dan pementasan; (3) Evaluasi: Dilakukan melalui pelaporan hasil berupa rapor projek siswa serta evaluasi kegiatan melalui refleksi dan diskusi dua arah antara guru dan siswa. Dalam aksi nyata P5, orang tua siswa di sekolah dasar negeri di Purworejo berperan aktif dengan menyediakan sumber daya berupa alat dan bahan projek, mendampingi siswa di rumah, serta berpartisipasi aktif dalam pertemuan sekolah. Dapat disimpulkan implementasi P5 tema kearifan lokal Kuda Lumping kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Purworejo dilaksanakan secara sistematis, mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal, serta melibatkan partisipasi aktif orang tua dan seniman lokal.

Abstract

The lack of critical thinking skills among fifth-grade elementary school students in comprehending creative content on types and patterns of decorative motifs necessitates the development of Edu Uno-based teaching aids as interactive learning media. This study aims to develop Edu Uno game-based instructional tools to enhance students' critical reasoning on the aforementioned material. The approach employed is the Research and Development (R&D) model adapted from ADDIE, validated by media experts (score: 4.57) and material experts (score: 4.65), both deemed highly feasible. Limited trials on 10 students yielded 62.69% effectiveness (moderate category), while field trials on 21 students achieved 73.16% (high category), with N-Gain scores in the high category. Questionnaire results from 31 students (98.6%) and one teacher (100%) indicated that the teaching aids are highly practical and suitable for sustained use. This development is expected to serve as an innovative solution for improving learning quality and student competency achievement effectively.

Abstract

The background of this study is based on the low achievement of students in understanding place value concepts, which is presumed to be related to the lack of active engagement during learning. This study aims to analyze the relationship between students' active participation and mathematics learning outcomes on place value material in Grade 2 of SDN 1 Pangenrejo. The research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational survey method. All Grade 2 students (N = 31) were included as the sample through total sampling. Data on active participation were collected using a standardized observation sheet, while learning outcomes were measured using a validated written test. Data analysis was conducted using the Spearman Rank correlation test because the data were not normally distributed. The results indicated that the relationship between students' active participation and mathematics learning outcomes was very low and not statistically significant. These findings suggest that student activeness in learning, particularly behavioral participation, does not necessarily reflect deep conceptual understanding; therefore, active participation alone is insufficient to improve mathematics learning outcomes. Other factors such as motivation, instructional strategies, and the role of teachers also contribute to learning outcomes. This study recommends the diversification of instructional strategies and the strengthening of teachers' roles in creating meaningful learning experiences. Further research with broader scope and variables is strongly recommended to enrich the understanding of factors influencing mathematics learning success in elementary schools.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam memahami informasi soal beserta menetapkan langkah penyelesaian menyebabkan kesalahan dalam proses penyelesaian soal matematika pada materi pecahan dilakukan oleh banyak siswa. Studi ini memiliki tujuan guna melakukan identifikasi terhadap tantangan yang dihadapi oleh siswa kelas V terhadap penyelesaian soal cerita pada materi pecahan menurut prosedur Newman. Studi ini mengimplementasikan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan dilakukan di SD Negeri Sindurjan Purworejo di semester pertama tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Subjek yang diteliti terdapat empat siswa yang ditetapkan melalui teknik purposive sampling berlandaskan taraf kemampuan. Pengumpulan data melalui analisis dokumen berupa lembar jawaban siswa, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data merujuk pada model Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup tahap mengumpulkan data, mereduksi data, menyajikan data, maupun menarik kesimpulan. Temuan penelitan ini memperlihatkan bahwasanya siswa melakukan kesalahan pada hampir seluruh tahap prosedur Newman, kecuali pada tahap membaca. Persentase kesalahan pada tahapan memahami, transformasi, serta keterampilan proses masing-masing sebesar 75%, sementara kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir mencapai 100%. Kesalahan dalam keterampilan proses maupun penulisan jawaban akhir adalah yang paling dominan, yang disebabkan oleh minimnya keakuratan siswa dalam melaksanakan perhitungan dan juga tidak melakukan pengecekan terhadap hasil akhir. Hasil ini memperlihatkan diperlukannya pembelajaran yang cenderung berfokus pada keterampilan prosedural, pemahaman konsep, dan ketelitian terhadap penyelesaian soal cerita materi pecahan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model through poster-making projects in Civic Education (PPKn) and to analyze its effect on enhancing the understanding of rights and obligations among fourth-grade students at SDN Cihajere. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis & McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles and involving 40 students. Each cycle comprised the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through concept understanding tests and observation sheets on the implementation of learning activities. The results showed a significant increase in the average test scores, from 58 (pre-cycle) to 68 (cycle I) and 82 (cycle II). The percentage of classical mastery rose from 35% to 60%, and finally to 88%. Moreover, the application of PjBL encouraged active student participation in group discussions, improved argumentative and collaborative skills, and stimulated creativity through the production of educational posters. These findings indicate that PjBL is effective in improving students’ understanding of the concepts of rights and obligations. This study recommends the integration of poster-based PjBL as an innovative strategy in Civic Education to strengthen the understanding of rights and obligations at the elementary school level.
