Students tend to be passive because they only listen to explanations of material from lecturers. EBook multimodality interactive developed to help improve lecturers' abilities in the digital field and help increase student interest in learning. This research aims to analyzing the effect of providing interactive multimodality EBooks using the SCL method on nursing students' learning interest in this era society 5.0. The research design used quasi experimental with post-test control group design. The research was conducted in September-November at the Nursing Study Program at Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. The sample was 84 respondents with Total Sampling. Statistical test using independent sample t-test with a significance level of 0.05. Measuring student interest in learning using a questionnaire. Significance value p-value of 0.001 (<0.05) with a value of 95% confidence interval amounting to 3,513-6,261 so it can be concluded that there is an influence of giving EBook multimodality interactive through the SCL method on nursing students' learning interest in this era society 5.0. EBook multimodality interactive developed can be applied by lecturers in every nursing course, making it easier for students to carry out independent learning and interact digitally.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Hypertension in adolescents is becoming an increasingly significant health concern due to increasing sedentary lifestyles, high consumption of salty foods, and low understanding of risk factors. The school environment is seen as a strategic platform for implementing empowerment programs through school organization activities. These activities aim to broaden students' knowledge about hypertension and improve their ability to recognize and detect hypertension-related problems. These activities are implemented through health education methods, utilizing animated educational videos to enhance student understanding, while also providing skills training in early hypertension detection using digital blood pressure monitors. The implementation of community service was evaluated through pre- and post-tests. Statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test showed a significant increase in knowledge after the intervention, with a p-value of 0.002. These findings indicate that video-based education combined with screening training can strengthen adolescents' understanding of hypertension and the urgency of early detection. Therefore, the ongoing implementation of school empowerment programs through school organizations is recommended as a preventive measure in controlling hypertension starting in adolescence. Keywords: Animated Educational Videos, Adolescent Hypertension, Student Empowerment.

Abstract

Adolescents, including female Islamic boarding school students, are an age group that is highly vulnerable to nutritional problems, one of which is caused by low levels of physical activity. Nutritional problems can have long-term consequences if not addressed promptly, including an increased risk of various metabolic diseases later in life. Health education is therefore an important strategy to improve adolescents’ knowledge regarding physical activity. This activity aimed to provide health promotion through video-based education to enhance knowledge about the importance of physical activity. The program was conducted among 30 adolescent female students in an Islamic boarding school located in Ogan Ilir Regency. The intervention consisted of a pre-test and post-test assessing knowledge of physical activity using a structured questionnaire, followed by the main activity, which was a health education session delivered through an educational video. The results showed a significant improvement in knowledge, indicated by an increase in the number of students with good knowledge from 10 students before the intervention to 26 students after the intervention. These findings demonstrate that video-based health education on the importance of physical activity is effective in improving adolescents’ knowledge, particularly among female Islamic boarding school students.
