Abstract

This study explores the implementation of behaviorist learning theory through expository teaching strategies in the Qur'an Hadist subject, focusing on the topic of faith in Allah (Iman kepada Allah) for first-grade students at MI Islamiyah 2 Penganten under the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka). Using a qualitative descriptive method and case study approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results indicate that the teacher utilized an expository strategy by providing structured explanations, direct stimulus, and consistent reinforcement techniques. Positive reinforcement such as praise and rewards played a crucial role in maintaining student focus and improving memorization of verses and key concepts. Students demonstrated increased attentiveness, improved recall, and active engagement during learning sessions. These findings affirm that behaviorist-based approaches remain relevant and effective, especially in early primary education and in delivering abstract religious concepts, when adapted within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum

Abstract

Salah satu hal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam pengembangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah adalah dengan legalitasnya berupa Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB). Tujuan dari pembuatan NIB ini adalah agar para pelaku UMKM bisa lebih mudah dalam mengurus dokumentasi yang lain untuk keberlangsungan usahanya. Dalam hal ini, ada 3 tahap dalam prosesnya. Yang pertama yaitu survei UMKM, pengenalan NIB, dan proses pembuatan NIB melalui Online Single Submission (OSS). Pendampingan pembuatan NIB yang dilakukan di Dusun Bendo ini mendapatkan respon yang baik dari masyarakat pelaku UMKM karena menurut mereka, dengan adanya NIB sangat membantu mereka dalam mengurus dokumen lainnya yang berkaitan dengan usahanya.

Abstract

The phenomenon of negative circles at Pondok Pesantren Assunniyyah Putri Kencong Jember is reflected in student behaviors that are inconsistent with pesantren values, such as staying up late, low discipline, and poor dormitory cleanliness. This community engagement program aims to break these negative behavioral cycles through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach involving caregivers, supervisors, university students, and the santri. The PAR stages consisted of participatory inquiry, change-oriented action, and collective reflection, with an emphasis on emotional mentoring, positive habit formation, and strengthening role modelling within the dormitory setting. The program demonstrated significant improvements across several indicators. Students’ knowledge of pesantren rules increased from 50 to 75, while pro-discipline attitudes rose from 2.0 to 4.0. Behaviorally, the proportion of students sleeping before 22:00 increased from 40% to 75%, prayer attendance improved from 75% to 90%, and dormitory cleanliness rose from 40% to 80%. Weekly disciplinary violations declined from 10 cases to 4 cases, and caregiver satisfaction reached 75%. The main limitation of the program lies in the short monitoring period, which may not fully capture the long-term consistency of behavioral change. The PAR model has potential for replication in other pesantren contexts with contextual adjustments and stronger long-term monitoring mechanisms.

Abstract

Students' critical thinking has not been maximally trained in learning since learning activities are only memorizing to meet the demands of passing the assessment. Students are less able to understand, build, and criticize arguments about a problem, especially in social studies learning. This study aimed to determine the feasibility of comic media material about human interaction with the environment to improve the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students. This type of research was research and development (Research and Development) with a 4D model. This research was conducted online using Zoom platform, Google Forms, and Ms. Teams that was carried out synchronously and asynchronously due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Data were collected through the expert validation stage and observation sheets, student response questionnaires, and critical thinking tests (pretest and posttest) for the teacher and student activity. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by quantitative and descriptive techniques. The results showed that: (1) comic media was in the very feasible category with a percentage of 82%, (2) it was practical based on teacher activity observations with a percentage of 94% with very active category, 95% for student activity with very active category, and student response questionnaires was 93% with very good category, (3) it was effective based on the result of N-gain on the critical thinking test, which was 0.53 (medium category). Thus, comic media in social studies learning was declared valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ critical thinking skills at fifth grade of elementary school.

Abstract

Posyandu remaja merupakan inovasi layanan kesehatan yang dipersiapkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan remaja secara komprehensif, meliptui pemeriksaan kesehatan, bimbingan psikologis dan edukasi pola hidup sehat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Desa Semambung RT 03 RW 02 Kecamatan Wonoayu Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Pengabdian ini berfokus pada pencegahan dan cara menanggulangi darah tinggi. Selain itu, memberikan edukasi pola hidup sehat untuk remaja sepert olahraga 3 kali seminggu yang ditindaklanjuti di puskesmas. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara dan pencatatan kehadiran peserta. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan pengetahuan remaja yang berkorelasi dengan hipertensi. Selain itu, ditemukan juga beberapa kasus yang mengalami gejala tekanan darah tinggi yang akan ditindaklanjuti di puskesmas. Hasil dari kegiatan ini juga menunjukkan bahwa demonstrasi edukasi pola hidup sehat yang dilakukan terbukti efektif. Posyandu Remaja nyatanya terbukti efektif yang tidak hanya berfunsi sebagai sarana pemeriksaan kesehatan, tetapi juga sebagai media strategis dalam menanamkan kesadaran dan kebiasaan hidup sehat pada generasi muda. Keberlanjutan program diharapkan dapat dilakukan secara rutin dengan dukungan kader posyandu remaja sebagai agen perubahan di lingkungan masyarakat. The adolescent integrated health service post (Posyandu) is a health service innovation designed to comprehensively meet the needs of adolescents, including health checks, psychological counseling, and healthy lifestyle education. This community service activity was conducted in Semambung Village, RT 03 RW 02, Wonoayu District, Sidoarjo Regency. This service focuses on preventing and managing high blood pressure. Furthermore, it provided education on healthy lifestyles for adolescents, such as exercising three times a week, which was followed up at the community health center. The method used in this service was a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and recording participant attendance. The results of this activity showed an increase in adolescent knowledge correlated with hypertension. In addition, several cases of high blood pressure symptoms were also found, which will be followed up at the community health center. The results of this activity also showed that the demonstration of healthy lifestyle education was proven effective. The adolescent integrated health post (Posyandu) has proven effective not only as a means of health checks but also as a strategic medium for instilling awareness and healthy lifestyle habits in the younger generation. It is hoped that the program will continue to be carried out routinely with the support of adolescent Posyandu cadres as agents of change in the community.
