Abstract

The research is motivated by the essential role of transparency in good governance, especially in village development, where public access to information ensures accountability and community participation. Despite the legal framework established by Indonesia’s Public Information Disclosure Law (UU KIP No. 14/2008), many villages, including Pattuku Limpoe, still face significant challenges in implementing effective information disclosure due to technological and resource constraints. This study aims to assess the extent of public information disclosure in village development and identify factors influencing the disclosure process in Pattuku Limpoe Village, Lappariaja District, Bone Regency. A qualitative approach was used to describe community experiences related to the implementation of village development. Data collection methods included direct observation of relevant events, interviews with key informants to gather primary data, and document analysis to review regulations and other materials related to the development process. The findings show that information disclosure in village development has not been fully achieved. The absence of an electronic system, such as a village website, limits the dissemination of information to the public. Furthermore, the lack of trained human resources in information and communication technology further hampers effective public information disclosure. These constraints highlight the need for improved technological infrastructure and capacity building among village officials to enhance transparency and accountability in village governance, in line with public policy objectives and the mandates of UU KIP No. 14/2008.

Abstract

One of the mapping technologies that are widely used today is the geographic information system, geographic information systems are often also called GIS (Geographic Information system) is a mapping technology in the form of a computer-based information system, which is designed to work using data that has special information or spatial references. Roads are land transportation facilities that have an important role in the field of transportation, connecting cities to cities, cities to villages, and villages to villages. Road damage has an impact on the safety and comfort of road users. Until now, there has never been any road damage in Sukosari Village caused by the conflict between Pringsewu and Pesawaran districts. Therefore, it is necessary to collect new information from the community about the current condition of the road so that village officials can immediately repair it because input from the community can make it easier for the village to make further improvements. For the problems mentioned above, a geospatial damage information system was created in the hope that the government can use the clustering method to determine the damage to level roads in Sukosari District. One of the methods used in this system is waterfall or also called waterfall. The information collected for this study came from the Sukosari website. Based on the results of the accuracy method, the waterfall used in this study is 100% accurate in terms of presentation of its suitability. The investigation of this method into the damage to the road geographical information system in Sukosari village clarifies that there are problems in the system that are not addressed in the research so that the system functions as planned.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the representation of nationalism values in informational texts of the Grade III Indonesian language textbook based on the Kurikulum Merdeka. Using a qualitative content analysis approach, the research focused on identifying key nationalism values such as patriotism, unity, appreciation of national symbols, and respect for cultural diversity. The primary data source was the textbook “Bahasa Indonesia: Kawan Seiring”, published by the Ministry of Education in 2022. The findings reveal that these values are presented both narratively and contextually, primarily through stories and descriptions of students’ everyday activities. Patriotism and cultural diversity appeared most frequently and were embedded in relatable and age-appropriate content. However, the textbook showed limited representation of national symbols and heroes, indicating a need for more balanced ideological content. Despite this gap, the study concludes that the textbook has the potential to support the internalization of civic and national values among elementary school students. By integrating character education into language learning, the book contributes not only to literacy development but also to shaping students’ national identity. These insights are expected to serve as valuable input for teachers, textbook writers, and policymakers in creating more value-oriented learning materials.

Abstract

The presence of multimodal culture on social media platforms, primarily on Instagram Reels ground, is composed of disputable perceived information, where comprehended information cannot be instantly sought as a sole interpretation. In the approach of the multimodality concept and engaging in the combination of visual, text, and auditory analyses, which compares plenty of relevant algorithm content, the present research examines the presence of sludge content as one of the various social media content ideas. This paper proposes to define sludge content or split screen video multimodality characters as a mass media technique, particularly on Instagram reels for starring in education, marketing, and entertainment, and how they impact the perceived messages. It discusses whether the presented frames contribute to each other's connections and intentions in constructing the same services. The analysis of the valuation implies that in circumstances where there are multimodal elements in the videos, the two screens intend to serve each other purposes not necessarily the same meaning, but instead support each other with disparate roles in constructing one delivery. The study contends that the appearance of sludge content is not meant to be conceived in only one way. Instead, different individuals might perceive a different sense of understanding, which leads to a varied interpretation or potential misunderstanding.
