Abstract

Purpose — The primary purpose of this study is to investigate how political decisions and public policies shape the formulation and implementation of business strategies across various organizational contexts.Method — Following the PRISMA guidelines, this study commenced with an extensive search in the Scopus database, initially identifying 281 articles. However, after rigorous relevance and quality screenings, only six articles were selected. VOSviewer was then employed for advanced visual analytics to explore the interconnections and thematic developments within the academic discourse, providing deeper insights into the literature's structure and evolution.Result — The findings reveal a complex interplay between business strategies and public policies, where alignment with governmental directives is associated with increased innovation and market adaptability. Conversely, misalignments tend to result in higher compliance costs and reduced strategic agility. The visualizations highlight key areas such as sustainability, regulatory frameworks, and strategic management, underscoring their crucial roles in shaping how businesses respond to policy changes.Novelty — This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) combines thematic visualizations with systematic data analysis to provide a clearer understanding of the dynamic relationship between policy decisions and business strategies. This approach not only reveals the current state of research but also traces the evolution of key themes over time, offering insights into the shifting focuses of both academic and practical perspectives.

Abstract

Abstract

Purpose: This study explores the influence of religiosity and service satisfaction on customer decisions, focusing on the dynamics of these variables within the Islamic banking sector in Indonesia, one of the largest markets for Sharia-compliant financial services globally.Method: A quantitative research approach was used to collect data from 100 respondents via structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to rigorously test the hypothesized relationships and evaluate the strength and direction of the proposed variables.Result: The findings indicate that religiosity has a statistically insignificant effect on customer decisions. While religious alignment may influence preferences, it does not substantially drive decision-making. In contrast, service satisfaction is a significant and dominant factor influencing customer decisions. Together, these variables account for 50.7% of the variance in customer decisions, highlighting the critical role of service quality in shaping customer behavior within the Islamic banking sector.Practical Implications for Economic Growth and Development: The study suggests that enhancing service satisfaction in the Islamic banking sector can significantly drive customer decisions, thereby contributing to economic growth and development by strengthening consumer trust and increasing market participation.

Abstract

This study focuses on addressing the accessibility challenges faced by students with disabilities in higher education by integrating sign language videos with PowerPoint presentations. The objective is to improve learning outcomes and inclusivity, particularly for students with hearing impairments. Using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) instructional model, the research developed a video-based learning system tailored to the needs of disabled students. Data were collected from students at faculty of business and informatics, palangkaraya muhammadiyah university. Findings reveal significant improvements in accessibility, engagement, and comprehension, with a 38% increase in material access and a 31% improvement in understanding complex concepts. The study concludes that incorporating sign language into educational content not only facilitates better learning outcomes but also promotes active student participation. This research highlights the potential for future development of assistive technologies to create inclusive learning environments in higher education.

Abstract

In the context of digital marketing of Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Palangkaraya, this study investigates the influence of ethics, trust, and user experience on corporate image. PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling), implemented with Smart-PLS version 3.2.7, was the quantitative methodology used. The research sample consisted of one hundred randomly selected people. The results showed that trust has the most significant influence on corporate image (path coefficient 0.387, p-value 0.001). Ethics, on the other hand, has a positive but statistically insignificant effect (path coefficient 0.145, p-value 0.289). In addition, user experience has a significant effect on corporate image (path coefficient 0.282, p-value 0.007). However, user experience does not serve as a moderator in the relationship between ethics and trust in corporate image. This study suggests that Bank Syariah Indonesia should prioritize building customer trust, providing an ideal user experience, and applying ethical principles in digital marketing to improve its corporate image.

Abstract

Purpose. This study aims to examine the implementation of disaster management information systems in improving work productivity at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Palangka Raya City. The research focuses on how integrated organizational structures and the use of supporting technologies contribute to more effective disaster response and coordination. Materials and Methods. A qualitative approach was employed using data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The study involved key informants from BPBD and utilized triangulation to ensure the validity of findings. Results. The findings indicate that the integrated structure of BPBD, supported by technologies such as the PERISAI application and the 112-emergency call centre service, has significantly improved data management and disaster response coordination. However, challenges remain in the form of limited human resources and low public awareness regarding the disaster information system. These limitations hinder the optimal utilization of the system and its potential benefits in disaster mitigation and response. Conclusions. Continuous staff training and intensive public outreach are needed to enhance understanding and participation in disaster mitigation efforts. The study highlights the importance of developing adaptive disaster information systems, strengthening human resource capacity, and increasing community education as key elements for effective disaster management at the regional government level
