Abstract

This research was conducted because the development of digital media that affects the way of processing information has shifted among gen Z, therefore, this research is to find out how gen Z's information consumption patterns in the era of digital media convergence. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with literature study analysis techniques, by analyzing documents such as books, journals and research results. Thus, this research shows that generation Z has its own way of communicating and receiving information as the highest internet user, especially social media 89%, they use social media as a tool to gather the latest news information without looking for it in online newspapers, as well as personal information needs such as education, social networking and career. Unfortunately, quite a few of them put forward a critical mindset in consuming information by comparing other information variables, so that most of them only judge from the level of information speed and validation of viewers from their online networks, causing gen Z's critical power to tend to be low. Gen Z indirectly creates its social identity through preference patterns in using digital media.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital financial services has driven the high adoption rate of financial applications in Indonesia. However, the increase in use is not always accompanied by an adequate level of financial literacy, raising questions about the main determinants of digital financial system usage behavior. This study aims to test the expanded technology acceptance model by integrating the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) and information system success model, as well as evaluating the role of user satisfaction and financial literacy in driving the actual use of digital financial services. This study uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. Data was collected through a survey of active users of digital financial services in Indonesia and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The research model examines the influence of UTAUT2 constructs on behavioral intention, the continued relationship between behavioral intention, user satisfaction, and system use, and the role of financial literacy moderation in the relationship between intention and system use. The results of the analysis show that behavioral intention has a significant effect on user satisfaction and system use. Furthermore, user satisfaction has proven to be the most powerful determinant of the actual use of the system, beyond the direct influence of behavioral intention. In contrast, financial literacy has not been shown to moderate the relationship between behavioral intention and system use, suggesting that ease of use and user experience have a more dominant role than formal financial literacy levels in the context of modern digital financial services. The research model has a high ability to explain the variation in user satisfaction and system usage. This research contributes to the development of the technology adoption literature by integrating pre-adoption and post-adoption perspectives in one comprehensive conceptual framework. In practical terms, these findings emphasize the importance of improving the quality of experience and user satisfaction as the main strategy to encourage the sustainability of the use of digital financial services in Indonesia.

Abstract

Performance reporting of Regional Public Service Agencies (BLUD) is a strategic instrument for strengthening accountability, transparency, and performance-based governance in primary healthcare services. This study aims to analyze the effects of information technology utilization, human resource competence, and functional supervision on BLUD performance reporting at Puskesmas Banggae I, Majene Regency. This study employed a quantitative approach with a causal-associative design. A total of 52 respondents participated in the study, and data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed through chi-square tests and multiple linear regression. The results show that the three variables simultaneously have a significant effect on BLUD performance reporting (F = 17.746; p = 0.000), with an R Square value of 0.526, indicating that the model explains 52.6% of the variation in performance reporting. Partially, information technology utilization had a significant negative effect (B = -1.610; t = -3.515; p = 0.001), human resource competence had a significant negative effect (B = -1.047; t = -2.571; p = 0.013), while functional supervision had a positive and significant effect (B = 0.529; t = 2.557; p = 0.014). These findings indicate that BLUD performance reporting quality is not determined solely by technology availability and employee capacity, but also by system readiness, technical competency alignment, and effective supervision. Therefore, improving BLUD performance reporting requires integrated information systems, technical capacity strengthening, and continuous functional supervision. Keywords: BLUD; performance reporting; information technology; human resources; supervision

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of user participation in information system development on system success. Furthermore, it evaluates the role of three contingency factors—top management support, task complexity, and locus of control—as moderating variables influencing this relationship in the context of public services in Indonesia. Method: The research employs a quantitative approach focusing on employees of the tax service office in Malang Regency. A sample of 50 respondents was selected using a simple random sampling technique via the Slovin method. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) and subgroup analysis to determine the type of moderating variables. Findings: The findings indicate that user participation has a significant positive relationship with information system success. All three contingency factors (management support, task complexity, and locus of control) were proven to act as quasi-moderators. Specifically, high management support and an internal locus of control strengthen the relationship between participation and system success. However, unlike previous studies, lower task complexity showed a greater influence on the relationship in this specific study. Implication: Practically, public sector managers should consider situational factors and individual characteristics before involving users in system development. User participation is not the sole determinant of success; active top management support and an understanding of employees' self-control orientation are crucial for ensuring effective information system implementation to improve public service. Originality: This study provides empirical evidence on the implementation of New Public Management in Indonesia, particularly within tax service offices. The novelty lies in the finding that task complexity in certain public sector organizations may exhibit different influence patterns on IT success compared to the private sector or organizations in other countries.

Abstract

Purpose — This study investigates the impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) trade flow components, specifically ICT service exports, ICT goods exports, and ICT goods imports, alongside economic complexity and renewable energy share on carbon emissions.Methodology — A panel of BRICS countries from 2000 to 2022 is estimated using a second-generation cross-sectional autoregressive distributed lag (CS-ARDL) model that accounts for cross-sectional dependence and slope heterogeneity across countries. Findings — Gross domestic product per capita and economic complexity are positively associated with carbon emissions. ICT trade flows have heterogeneous effects on emissions. ICT services, exports, and renewable energy consumption significantly reduce carbon emissions. However, ICT goods exports and imports have an insignificant effect on carbon emissions.Implications — The results suggest that the BRICS countries must emphasise policy measures that promote the export of ICT services, accelerate renewable energy adoption, and promote industrial transformation policies towards sustainable production practices.Originality — This study focuses on supply-side ICT trade channels and disaggregates them into ICT goods exports, imports, and service exports. Furthermore, this study applies second-generation estimation techniques that are robust to cross-sectional dependence and slope heterogeneity

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of QRIS adoption and human resource (HR) competence on the financial quality of UMKM in Manado City. Using a quantitative approach with survey data from 125 UMKM in the restaurant sector collected through a census method, multiple regression analysis was conducted. The results indicate that QRIS adoption has a positive and significant impact on financial quality, as it improves transaction management, cash flow, and the accuracy of financial reporting. This supports the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which emphasizes perceived usefulness and ease of use in technology adoption. HR competence also shows a positive and significant effect, consistent with the human capital theory, which highlights the importance of skilled HR in improving performance. Together, QRIS and HR competence significantly affect financial quality with an R² of 0.592. The findings suggest that combining digital adoption and HR competence is more effective than each factor alone, with implications for practice, theory, and policy in strengthening UMKM financial sustainability.

Abstract

Deli Serdang Regency has several types of livestock developed by the community in supporting food security in the district. This research was conducted to analyze the carrying capacity of land use and formulate directions and strategies for the development of goat farms in Deli Serdang Regency. Data collection was carried out using survey, observation, and data collecting methods. The data obtained was analyzed descriptively. Landuse in Deli Serdang Regency is generally suitable for the development of goat farming. Land use that has the potential for the development of goat farming is land cultivated in the agricultural sector such as plantations/gardens, dry fields/fields, and paddy fields. Existing land uses that can currently be used for the development of goat farming in the Deli Serdang district are shrubs (10,784.99 ha), dry fields/fields (18,091.18 ha), rice fields (32,421.42 ha), plantations/gardens ( 129,018.11 ha), and Forest (43,731.41 ha). Directions for the development of goat farming are directed at optimizing the potential of natural resources, especially the use of forage for animal feed. Livestock development can be directed at land use classes in the form of shrubs converted into grazing land for planting superior forage, so that the carrying capacity increases for the cultivation of goat farming. Directions for the Development of Goat Farming can be directed based on the RTRW of Deli Serdang Regency, namely agricultural areas (food crops, horticulture, and plantation areas) which can be applied in almost all areas of the sub-district. The development of goat farming in Deli Serdang Regency should pay more attention to the potential of land resources as a place to raise livestock so that the carrying capacity of the feed will be fulfilled.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has driven significant changes in the implementation of public services, particularly in the dissemination of information to the public. The increasing accessibility of the internet enables information to spread quickly, but also raises the potential for the circulation of false or misleading information. This condition requires the government to provide public information services that are accurate, responsive, and easily accessible in order to protect society from the negative impacts of misinformation. The Government of East Java Province, through the Department of Communication and Informatics, provides a digital-based information verification service through the Klinik Hoaks Website to assist the public in clarifying questionable information. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the service based on Duncan’s organizational effectiveness theory, which includes goal attainment, integration, and adaptation. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, with informants selected using purposive sampling. The results show that the Klinik Hoaks Website service has generally been effective. The service is able to meet the public’s need for information verification, has procedures that are easy to understand, and is supported by adequate facilities. However, several challenges remain, including inconsistency in verification time, limited outreach of socialization, and the absence of specific technical regulations. Therefore, improvements are needed in terms of service timeliness, broader dissemination, and strengthening of technical regulations to optimize the effectiveness of the service.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing need for accurate, fast, and adaptive political data analysis models to address developments in digital technology, particularly in integrating visual and non-visual data. Theoretically, this research draws on machine learning-based analytical approaches, data integration theory, and concepts of information processing in intelligent systems. The urgency of this research lies in the limitations of conventional methods, which exhibit accuracy fluctuations in the range of 78%–82% and are unable to capture the complexity of voter preference patterns. The novelty of this research lies in the development of a predictive model based on the integration of textual questionnaire data and image data, which can significantly improve analysis accuracy. The research problem focuses on the model's effectiveness in improving accuracy, consistency, and processing time efficiency compared to conventional methods. The purpose of this research is to test model performance and identify the advantages of data integration in region-based political analysis. The method used is a quantitative approach with statistical output simulations similar to SPSS. The results showed that the model produced an average accuracy of 91.3% with a standard deviation of 0.56, an average processing time of 18 hours with a standard deviation of 0.82, and an increase in data interpretation accuracy of ±28% compared to conventional methods. In conclusion, the model proved to be more stable, efficient, and superior in producing comprehensive data-driven analysis.
