Abstract

Blended learning is an alternative solution that the government had come up with to make up for the flaws of online learning, which was put into place during COVID-19 when the offline way of teaching was completely switched. In practice, though, the online method had some problems, so the government came up with a plan to use the mixed learning method. Then, this study was done to see how offline, online, and blended learning models affected learning results and how happy students were with them. The qualitative method was used to do this study. The information used in this study came from 28 students at X University who filled out surveys and were also interviewed. Overall, the results of this study showed that the face-to-face learning approach was the most effective way to learn. This is because students can understand the lessons better and feel more satisfied with this way of learning. Other learning models, on the other hand, have more distractions, making it harder for students to understand the lesson and making them feel like it's hard to follow the teaching process, making students less happy in the end.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the implementation of a preventive education model based on multiculturalism and local wisdom for dealing with the effects of drugs among school students in Madura. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research participants were students from two schools in Madura who had been exposed to or were at risk of being exposed to drugs. Data was collected through interviews and analyzed using the thematic analysis technique. The research results showed that forms of drug control among students in Madura are carried out in 3 ways, namely medical rehabilitation is carried out using screening results data which is used as a reference for assessment and followed up by administering doses of drugs in the form of methadone pills and buprenorphine; non-medical rehabilitation is carried out using a psychological approach which includes counselling services, community therapy and spiritual therapy with talqin al dzikr through the qadiqah qadir naqsyabandiyah; and further rehabilitation is carried out using the Disease Model of Addiction through the development of vocational-based skills and activity management. The development of a model for overcoming the effects of drugs among students in Madura based on multiculturalism and Madurese local wisdom consists of three categories, namely: spiritual collaboration with certain amaliyah, spirituality collaboration with local wisdom of the koteka'an type, and collaboration of various types of local wisdom in the form of koteka'an.

Abstract

Students with disabilities face a wide range of obstacles to their academic and personal growth. Because of this, they require educational services tailored to the specific requirements of each student. Even with these disadvantages, deaf pupils must study mathematics. Therefore, there is a need for mathematical learning materials that take into account the specific characteristics and requirements of deaf children. This investigation is a case study of qualitative research. Deaf pupils are the focus of this study. Observation, questionnaires, and in-person interviews were employed to compile the data. In this study, we employ a validity technique known as "source triangulation." The research found that because deaf children rely so heavily on visual cues for knowledge acquisition, tactile learning materials are essential for them to succeed in mathematics. Knowledge can also be more effectively transmitted through the use of learning material that encourages dialogue between instructors and students.

Abstract

The multiculturalism values which exist among students promote their character, religiosity and character strength in their personal life.  This study aims to investigate the religiosity and character strength among associates and students’ with diversity, undergraduate degrees at a private university in Klaten, Central Java. The     instruments address students’    religiosity and character strengths, endorsing male (114 or 30.4%) and female (261 or 69.6%) students who lived in and outside the Klaten district. 313 or 83.5% of respondents were residing in Klaten district,  whereas the remainder of, 62  or  16.5%, were originally inhabited from outside Klaten. This study used a quantitative descriptive with 375 respondents. Data were collected from a Google form to facilitate respondents’ accessibility in filling out the questionnaire and analyzed by using multivariate assumption tests of normality, homogeneity, and covariance variance matrix. The results proved that the value of religiosity (F = 1.641; p = .000) and character strength (F = 1.683; p = .000) from the Levene’s test, whilst the homogeneity test of covariance showed 7.104; F = .771; p =.643. Students’ religiosity ranked in the medium category (67.2%) as well as students’ character strength  (66.4%).   These meant no significant differences in religiosity and character strength among gender-based students’ domiciles.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop android-based learning media to help economics lessons, especially in national income materials for Class XI students of the Department of Social Sciences at the senior high school level. The research method used was research and development (RD), with the ADDIE model. The media was then implemented in class XI students, with a total of 20 students. The research sample was selected purposively with consideration of the material in the media and the ease of research. Media demands, student profiles, and the learning environment were observed and interviewed for study. The media was planned and developed using Articulate Storyline 3, validated by 3 media and 2 material specialists (Expert Judgement), and analysed qualitatively. Student and instructor responses to questions on media practicality and usefulness were quantified. The entire ADDIE circuit was evaluated at each stage. The results of the analize stage prove that students and teachers need support media for material related to economic statistics. The design and development of media was carried out by researchers by providing several advantages including simple and interesting, interactive media that can be used in offline and online modes. Its excellence gained the recognition of eligibility from validators. Student response at the limited trial and implementation stage showed the media had a practicality level which is high and very useful. In fact, economics teachers at both schools gave a perfect assessment (maximum score) for all indicators of the teacher response questionnaire statement. It can be concluded that the media was needed by students and teachers based on economic statistics. The media was designed and developed with advantages based on needs analysis. The media was valid and should be implemented.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to identify the requirements of students enrolled in the Civil Engineering Study Programme at a Papua university's General English Course during the second semester. A quantitative approach was taken for this investigation. Up to 200 students will participate in this survey. Questionnaire surveys were used to compile the data. Using a quantitative approach, the collected data is poured into a tabular data and matrix format for analysis. The findings show that raising students' consciousness of the importance of self-discipline in the classroom is a top priority. They must also participate actively in class in order to succeed. Students require content integration, English skills, and language aspects pertinent to course themes. In order to successfully complete the General English Course, students must have a firm grasp of all facets of the English language. In the framework of a General English Course, students will find the most success with the Student-Centred Learning Approach. Strategies like this include autonomy, curiosity, and self-control. Students have access to a wide variety of resources, including but not limited to those relating to civil engineering, general context, science and technology, and topics related to students' daily lives.

Abstract

Ki Hadjar Dewantara's tetep, antep, and mantep attitude assessment is the focus of this research. Descriptive qualitative research is conducted in the form of a literature review that objectively examines the process of developing Ki Hajar Dewantara's attitude evaluation instrument (tetep, antep, mantep). The purpose of the descriptive method is to provide sufficient background information for further analysis and conclusion drawing. Analysis and recording of studies serve as the basis for the data collection. Books and articles are gathered for research at libraries. Data collected from documentation and field data poured in a thorough and detailed report description form the basis of the interactive model analysis. A summary is created at the outset of data gathering, which is when data reduction occurs. The next step is trimming the data and field reports to the essentials, highlighting the most relevant information, and looking for recurring themes or patterns. Data is reduced in complexity by selection, classification, and abstraction. Data visualisation aids researchers in gaining a better understanding of the whole or of specific subsets of their data. Fourth, by categorising the data, researchers are able to draw meaningful conclusions. The study's findings indicated that the sensitivity index value was the most reliable predictor of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's tetep, antep, and mantep attitudes towards his students' academic progress. Contextual learning models that incorporate local expertise can be used to refine evaluations of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's tetep, antep, mantep attitude.

Abstract

Deafness is a condition where a student cannot hear various sounds optimally. So in the learning process, we need media that prioritizes visuals to make it easier for deaf students to understand the material presented by the teacher. Gamification is one of the most effective learning media because it can present material packaged in the form of game software. The aim of the research is to assist developers in developing gamification by eliminating waste using a lean software development approach. This research method uses the lean assessment matrix method by making process flow diagrams and lean assessment matrices to identify the presence of critical waste. The results showed that the development of deaf students' learning methods used the Lean Software development approach: the number of motions in one game, the game entry process was quite long, and the Latin font was not installed in the application. By eliminating these three wastes, other wastes will be indirectly eliminated because there is a link between the wastes. After the Lean Assessment Matrix process was completed, several solutions were obtained to eliminate this critical waste: making a Future Process Model carefully before giving it to the Developer and making a careful gamification development schedule. By implementing the two Garbage Elimination Alternatives, gamification development can run effectively and efficiently
