Al Ishlah Jurnal Pendidikan
This journal focuses on advancing scholarly research and critical discourse in the field of education. It publishes original research articles that address contemporary issues and emerging trends in curriculum development, instructional practices, learning processes, educational policy, and teacher preparation. The journal aims to contribute to the development of educational theory and practice in both national and international contexts. The journal also welcomes submissions related to environmental education and studies that examine learning through psychological, social, cultural, cognitive, and historical perspectives. Research that explores the interrelationships among teaching, knowledge construction, learner development, and educational contexts is particularly encouraged. Furthermore, the journal accepts research and academic discussions across a broad range of subject matter within education, including mathematics education, religious education, language pedagogy and English for Specific Purposes (ESP), natural sciences, social sciences, history, chemistry, and other related educational disciplines. The journal includes the following thematic sections: Learning: Theoretical and empirical investigations concerning learning processes and their development across diverse contexts. Issues and Trends: Analytical and interpretive essays addressing current educational, social, and philosophical issues. Learning in Everyday Life: Studies of learning experiences occurring outside formal academic settings, such as in homes, communities, digital environments, and cultural institutions. Teacher Education: Research on teacher preparation, professional development, and the broader conditions shaping the teaching profession. Education Policy: Critical analyses of educational policies, their principles, implementation, and effects on educational practice. Comments and Criticism: Scholarly dialogue aimed at clarifying, challenging, or expanding upon previously published works. Book Reviews: Reviews of recent publications relevant to the field of education. The Editorial Board invites manuscripts employing rigorous quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches that demonstrate academic originality and significant contribution to educational scholarship. All submissions must present a thorough review of relevant literature, articulate a clearly defined research problem or argument, and provide well-grounded conclusions addressing implications and limitations.

<![CDATA[The results of the supervisory competency assessment on average from each province in the aspect of ealuation and supervision of education are in the proficient category so it is important to make efforts to improve through Continuous Professional Development. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the strategic management of Sustainable Professional Development for Madrasah supervisors at the Ministry of Religion of Cirebon. Continuing Professional Development is an effort to deepen knowledge as a madrasa supervisor, so that the substance of CPD is to seek knowledge as well as a form of reconstruction of new knowledge within the supervisor. The method used in this research is qualitative research with descriptive research type. The results of the study indicate that the strategic mangement of the Sustainable Professional Development of Madrasah supervisors has been running effectively and efficiently. The synergy between stakeholders, both the government, the organizing committee, and the participants, has been well realized so that the implementation the CPD for madrasah supervisors is in accordance with the formulation of the established strategy. The implication of this research is that all stakeholders work together to implement CPD in a sustainable manner to increase the capacity of madrasah supervisors]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to test the effectiveness of application-based learning media in improving basic table tennis technical skills. The sample in this study involved students consisting of two groups, namely the experimental group of 15 people and the control group of 15 people. The research was carried out online, and this was because it was still in an emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this study is an experimental method to see the difference in skill levels of the two research groups. The data collection technique used is performance tests. Then the data were analyzed by calculating the percentage. The results of data analysis obtained through skill performance tests show that the level of basic table tennis technical skills in the experimental group and the control group both have good results. However, looking at the comparison of the percentage levels obtained by the two groups, it can be seen that the experimental group has a higher skill level percentage than the control group. An experimental group is a group whose learning activities use application-based learning media. Based on the research results above, it can be concluded that online learning using application-based media can improve students’ understanding and skills in basic table tennis technical material.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to identify the leadership style of Kyai in monitoring the quality of education at Ma'had Al-Jami'ah UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, as well as the strategic steps of kiai in improving the quality of the Ma'had Al-Jami'ah institution. This research is qualitative research type using descriptive-analytic method. This research was conducted at Ma'hadal-Jami'ah UIN Malang. The primary sources are Kyai, Murabby, Musyrif, Mu'allim, and Mahasantri Ma'hadalJami'ah UIN Maliki Malang. And secondary sources are books, dissertations, theses, journals, articles, and other related sources. with research. Then the data collection technique uses document review, in-depth interviews, and observation. The results of this research concluded that the leadership style of kiai in Ma'had al-Jami'ah UIN Malang used the Transformasional leadership style. This can be seen from his charismatic figure and his capability for being a role model (uswah) in making any decisions (Idealized Influence), he also very inspiring and always motivating all the academic community of Ma’had al-Jami'ah (inspirational motivation), encouraging musyrif/ah, Murabbi/ah to always do innovation (Intellectual stimulation), He always listen any input and suggestions from the musyrif/ah, Murabbi ah (Individualized reason). <![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to find out how the application of the blended learning model to the learning independence of PGSD students. The approach used in this research is descriptive quantitative with data analysis using percentages. The research subjects were students of the 2020 Garut University PGSD Study Program as many as 41 respondents. In this study, a sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique with a population of PGSD students as a whole. The results showed that student learning independence was successfully improved using the blended learning model, which was above 50 percent and included indicators of confidence, initiative, and motivation. Meanwhile, student responses related to the use of the blended learning model have an average of 61.9 percent, which is a positive response. So, it can be said that the blended learning model can increase the learning independence of PGSD students.]]>

<![CDATA[The goal of this research is to obtain a model in teaching speaking in Students Exchange MBKM program between PBSI Universitas Pancasakti Tegal and PBSI UKI Toraja. This research applies qualitative research. Sampling of data is students and lecturer PBSI from the University of Pancasakti Tegal, and Universitas Kristen Indonesia Toraja the research use total sampling. The instrument of this research used observation, interview, and questionnaire. In data analysis, researchers used qualitative methods. The results showed model of teaching speaking in students exchange MBKM program was Illustration, Interaction, Induction (III), Presentation, Practice, Production (PPP), and Mastery Learning. From the three models obtained based on field data, the model can be constructed into Contraction, Stimulation, Explanation, Demonstration, and Assessment.]]>

<![CDATA[The results of interviews and observations at the MA Pertanian of Madiun City show that the student worksheet used so far has not integrated 21st century skills. The development of 21st century skills of students can be done through student worksheets that integrate 21st century skills and the use of problem-based learning models. Analysis of these problems and potentials became the basis for researchers to carry out research on the development of problem-based learning-oriented worksheets integrated 21st century skills. This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of problem-based learning-oriented student worksheets integrated 21st century skills. This development research uses the ADDIE model to achieve research purposes. The ADDIE model consists of 5 stages, namely the analysis stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The subjects in this study were 11th grade students of the MA Pertanian of Madiun City in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The research subjects consisted of 2 types, namely, limited trial subjects and field trial subjects. The research instruments include material expert validation sheets, media expert validation, student response questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The results of this study are that the developed student worksheets meet the valid, practical, and effective criteria, so based on the research results it can be concluded that the developed student worksheets are feasible and appropriate to improve students' 21st century skills.]]>

<![CDATA[The phenomenon in the Alpha generation has many challenges in parenting. Children's daily life cannot be separated from digital devices is one of the factors that have the potential to affect children's growth and development. The challenge of the digital age is because these digital devices are very neutral which has a positive as well as negative impact on their users. This study aims to analyze the application of parenting activities in Harapan Bunda Karak Kindergarten using descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection used observation techniques, interviews with the principal, two class teachers and two parents of students of Harapan Bunda Karak Kindergarten with interview guidelines in the form of unstructured interviews. Data analysis through the process of reducing the data obtained, presenting data, and finally drawing conclusions. The results showed that the involvement of parents in early childhood education in parenting activities is still in the category of lack of this, as can be seen from the process of involving parents in the classroom when learning activities have not been implemented. Parental involvement is still in orientation activities, religious events and field trips. Obstacles in implementation come from parental and school factors. The application of digital parenting in Harapan Bunda Karak Kindergarten has also not been implemented. The importance of implementing digital parenting in schools is something that must be considered considering the current condition that children cannot be kept away from digital devices in a hurry. The solution to the dangers of digital devices for children is through the application of digital parenting]]>

<![CDATA[National insight in the era of disruption needs to be improved because the era of disruption, directly and indirectly, had an impact on human life, including increasing national insight. This study aims to determine the role of PPKn teachers in increasing students' national insight in the era of disruption 4.0. This research was conducted at a junior high school in Bandung Regency using a qualitative research approach. The research subjects were PPKn teachers, MTs Principals, Curriculum PKM, Student PKM, and students. Data collection in this study was carried out through observation, interviews, documentation studies, and the analysis technique used data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the role of Civics Teachers in increasing students' national insight in the Disruption Era 4.0 is 1) As a builder of devotion that is relevant to the school's vision and mission, namely the realization of a generation with SATF characters (Siddiq, Amanah, Tabligh and Fathanah), 2) As a character builder through extracurricular activities of Scouts, Paskibra and PMR, 3) Play a role in preparing the flag ceremony every Monday, commemorating the Commemoration of National Holidays (PHBN), 4) As a student mentor in the implementation of class picket habituation, clean Friday activities, social services, giving and giving charity, and 5) the teacher as a facilitator to invite, remind, and provide understanding to students in managing the environment with the spirit of honesty. This study concludes that Civics teachers play a role in increasing students' national insight in the era of disruption 4.0.]]>

<![CDATA[Project based learning (PjBL) has become one of the innovative trends in education to create an exciting teaching-learning environment where the teachers become the facilitators to construct their students’ knowledge. This study aims to develop implementation Project Based Learning to increase students speaking competence. This study uses Four D model procedure. To enhance students speaking competence, this research also develops a syllabus, lesson plans and digital technology. This research investigates the implementation of PjBL by using digital apparatus which is connected with internet to increase students speaking competence of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Simalungun regency, North Sumatera Province, Indonesia. The validation of PjBL was carried out by three validators of each material experts and media experts. The feasibility study of PjBL products shows validity of 85% with very valid criteria. The result of the researches obtained an average score of 90%. The syllabus obtained an average score of 84%, lesson plans obtained an average score of 84%, and digital facilities obtained an average score of 85%. In conclusion, PJBL increases students speaking competence especially supported by digital facilities.]]>

<![CDATA[Extracurricular activities are part of the school curriculum that has significant implications for adolescent development, improving academic achievement and character development. Extracurricular activities have significant implications for adolescent development, particularly for the central identity configuration process during this developmental phase. Not only for teenagers, well-organized extracurricular activities are also an essential part of a child's life; (2) Purpose of the Study: This study aims to determine the relationship between extracurricular activities and student character education and identify factors that can strengthen or weaken the relationship between the two; (3) Methods: This study aims to determine the relationship between extracurricular activities and student character education and identify factors that can strengthen or weaken the relationship between the two; (4) Results: The findings of this study show that extracurricular activities have a positive relationship with the development of student character education with several determinant factors that influence the relationship between the two, namely internal school factors such as friends, teachers, and school climate. All three are elements that exist in the school environment and are interrelated with each other. Meanwhile, the external factors of the school are parents. These two factors have a significant influence on the relationship between extracurricular activities and the development of character education.; and (5) Conclusions: The relationship between extracurricular activities and student character education is generally positive and mutually reinforcing.]]>
