Al Ishlah Jurnal Pendidikan
This journal focuses on advancing scholarly research and critical discourse in the field of education. It publishes original research articles that address contemporary issues and emerging trends in curriculum development, instructional practices, learning processes, educational policy, and teacher preparation. The journal aims to contribute to the development of educational theory and practice in both national and international contexts. The journal also welcomes submissions related to environmental education and studies that examine learning through psychological, social, cultural, cognitive, and historical perspectives. Research that explores the interrelationships among teaching, knowledge construction, learner development, and educational contexts is particularly encouraged. Furthermore, the journal accepts research and academic discussions across a broad range of subject matter within education, including mathematics education, religious education, language pedagogy and English for Specific Purposes (ESP), natural sciences, social sciences, history, chemistry, and other related educational disciplines. The journal includes the following thematic sections: Learning: Theoretical and empirical investigations concerning learning processes and their development across diverse contexts. Issues and Trends: Analytical and interpretive essays addressing current educational, social, and philosophical issues. Learning in Everyday Life: Studies of learning experiences occurring outside formal academic settings, such as in homes, communities, digital environments, and cultural institutions. Teacher Education: Research on teacher preparation, professional development, and the broader conditions shaping the teaching profession. Education Policy: Critical analyses of educational policies, their principles, implementation, and effects on educational practice. Comments and Criticism: Scholarly dialogue aimed at clarifying, challenging, or expanding upon previously published works. Book Reviews: Reviews of recent publications relevant to the field of education. The Editorial Board invites manuscripts employing rigorous quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches that demonstrate academic originality and significant contribution to educational scholarship. All submissions must present a thorough review of relevant literature, articulate a clearly defined research problem or argument, and provide well-grounded conclusions addressing implications and limitations.

Material is the main needs for the teaching and learning process. Advanced technology has influenced the paradigm of material presenting. This study was to identify material needs for English extensive reading course in the digital era. The study used a qualitative approach through the descriptive qualitative method. Data is taken from observation, interview, and questionnaire. Data validity used triangulation and analysis data used data reduction, data display, and taking conclusion. The findings concluded that the need 0f teaching materials for learning extensive reading in English must be under the curriculum so that students can answer global challenges, the industry, technological developments, and changes in human life that continue to develop. The presentation of the material is also directed at implementing digital facilities that are easily accessible to students. The results of the study also have implications for exploring the ability to read digital sources and variations of material according to student needs or globalization competition.

Indonesia has implemented online learning as part of its education reforms in an effort to contain the spread of the Covid – 19 virus. Study participants' perceptions of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic are examined in this research. It was a descriptive quantitative study. Questionnaires (Google forms) and in-depth interviews were used to collect data. One hundred fifty-five cadets responded to the survey. Covid–19 pandemic showed that the cadets had an excellent view of online learning. Amid this pandemic, they discovered that online learning was helpful but not entirely efficient. Online learning by lecturers was effective, efficient, varied, helped cadets understand the material, independent learning, and increased students' involvement in learning activities. Additionally, this study gathered information from students in the form of constructive feedback on how to improve online learning. Covid – 19 pandemic cadets also discovered a number of obstacles related to online learning, such as barriers to students' accessing online learning platforms. In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, the need for further research into the extent of the digital divide is necessitated by this study.

This research scrutinized the students' perception of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in the teaching and learning process. A qualitative approach as a primary framework was employed with a case study method. Twenty students were involved in this research. The information was gathered through questionnaires and interviews. Of the twenty participants, only three participated in the interview session. The results reveal that most students gave tremendous perceptions of CLIL implementation, understanding the teachers’ instructions, being comfortable at some point in the class, and enriching their vocabulary. The findings of the study are envisioned to bring light to other teachers to reflect and develop themselves. Moreover, the study aimed to contribute to the schools’ policy-making, which means undertaking the CLIL program.

This research and development is motivated by the desire and hope of materializing learning materials that have relevance to the learning and psychological needs of Indonesian Language Education students, especially giving the effect of a writing culture embedded in students. The long-term goal is the formation of independent, creative, and productive student literacy characters in an effort to empower themselves to explore the ability to write literary works, especially folklore. The modules are developed based on the Rowntree development model. The procedure is divided into three main stages, namely needs analysis, developing draft modules, and evaluating expert lecturers. The subjects of this study were students of Indonesian Language Education FKIP, PGRI Palembang University who took the Literature Writing course. To measure the level of validation of the writing module, Retisa de Rikayat in supporting the mastery of the ability to write literary works was evaluated by expert lecturers in the field of Indonesian language. The writing module of Retisa de Rikayat is quite effective as an alternative complementary teaching material for writing literary works, especially learning to write folk tales. This is in accordance with the results of the assessment, this module has an average score of 76.8 from expert lecturers which is in the good category and is arranged according to the analysis of student needs.

This study aimed to determine the principal's leadership behavior in implementing mental revolution to improve teacher performance at SMK Islam PB Soedirman 2 Jakarta. Research using a qualitative approach with data collection techniques documentation, observation, and interviews. The research subjects were the principal and the teacher. This research shows that the formulation of principal policies in implementing mental revolutions to improve teacher performance at SMK Islam PB Soedirman 2 Jakarta has made written and oral rules according to the vision and mission of the school. It involves teachers, school targets, and school principals in formulating activities to improve teacher skills. These results make teachers better understand the lessons more easily and feel comfortable during school and achieve better quality education. As a leader in implementing a mental revolution to improve teacher performance at SMK Islam PB Soedirman 2 Jakarta, the principal's program is done by good communication. It is not rude, direct supervision, not arrogant and authoritarian, compiling a KKG program, seminars, and the workshop with this program shows encouraging results. Teachers are more disciplined to complete their assignments well. The principal's strategy is to involve all teachers and provide direct examples. The factors that influence the principal's leadership in implementing a mental revolution to improve teacher performance are his desire to improve school performance. This is the main factor that influences it along with other general factors, such as the personal condition of the principal, school organization, the external environment.

This research aimed to investigate the effect of pedagogic competence and work environment on the performance of elementary school teachers at the Kuantan Singingi District. Methodology in This study uses a quantitative approachwith a path analysis model. The participants of this study were 103 elementary teachers in Kuantan Singingi District, Singingi Hilir District. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire on the google form application. The questionnaire used a five-point Likert scale. Hypothesis testing is obtained from the t-test and F-test. The results show that there were several conclusions, namely: 1) pedagogical competence has a positive and significant effect on elementary school teachers performance in Singingi Hilir District, the increasing of pedagogical competence of the teachers could improve their performance, 2) The working environment has a positive and significant impact on the performance of teachers in the District Elementary School Singingi Hilir, where a good work environment would improve teacher performance. 3) pedagogical competence and work environment affected the performance of public elementary school teachers Singingi Hilir District with a coefficient of determination or R-Square of 0.301 or 30.1%, meaning that pedagogical competence and work environment have an influenced on performance of 30.1%.

The purpose of this study was to develop a profile of spiritual well-being and academic stress among students in high schools and universities and determine whether there is a relationship between academic stress and spiritual well-being among students in the Indragiri Hulu district of the province of Riau, Indonesia. The quantitative technique is used in this investigation. It was decided to employ a survey design for this investigation. 105 students were chosen to participate in the survey, with an 81 per cent response rate (n = 85). Academic stress was reported by 82 per cent of those who answered the survey questions (70 people). Additionally, according to the findings of this study, women suffer more stress than males, and students in college experience more stress than students in high school. Academic stress, on the other hand, is not significantly associated with gender or educational level. In contrast, the spiritual well-being of students is associated with just a slight link with the academic stress experienced by students.

Learning using the active, innovative, creative, effective, and fun participation methods is a learning process by creating an atmosphere in such a way that students actively participate in learning process. The methods facilitated students in building their process of behavior change towards a better direction while accommodating students' thoughts, ideas, creativity to achieve goals or at least achieve basic competencies set by the teacher by creating a pleasant of learning atmosphere. This method also applies to music education. Music education is a determining factor in shaping a child's personality. Doremi Home Music Course is a course and training institution engaged in music training. This research and development showed that using the learning model with life music and gathering can improve student achievement in Doremi Home Music Course. The design of the learning model for live music and gathering with the application of the active, innovative, creative, effective, and fun participation method has a high degree of permanence.

This study aims to develop e-module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) on hydrocarbon materials using the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker application. This research is a development research with 4-D development model. The data obtained came from 6 validators (3 material experts and 3 media experts), 4 chemistry teachers and 12 students from four high schools namely SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru, SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru, SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru and SMA IT Al-Fityah Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques used in the form of documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique is by calculating the percentage score of the validation assessment and user responses. The results showed that the e-module developed fulfilled very valid criteria with a percentage of 85.39% by material experts and 97.02% by media experts. The results of the chemistry teacher and student response test showed that the e-module developed fulfilled very practical criteria with a percentage of 92.60% by chemistry teachers and 89.60% by students

This qualitative research aims to determine how crucial Multiple Intelligence is in Islamic religious learning. The method in this research is a theoretical study that tries to find hypotheses by examining various research sources and online media about Multiple Intelligence. The collecting data is by gathering some literature obtained from various articles, both accredited national journals and reputable international journals. Data analysis is done by mapping from the collected data and obtaining literature from multiple intelligences in Islamic Religious Education. The result of this research is that with the application of multiple intelligences, the teacher can map the condition of students based on their potential and interests and with the among system, the characteristics of students can be continuously fostered without being shackled to their "independence" to develop.
