Abstract

This study examines the tourism, hotel, and restaurant sector's reaction to various government policies' announcements of COVID-19. This study used data from nine travel agencies, twenty-seven hotels, and eight restaurants collected from the Indonesian Stock Exchange and www.finance.yahoo.com. The limit was 10 days before and 10 days after the 7-event policy, with 140 days' worth of observations. This study found that abnormal returns were significantly negative when the government enforced community activities restrictions (PPKM) of the Micro policy in the restaurant industry. Besides that, in other events, the tourism, hotel, and restaurant sectors showed negative but insignificant statistical values. In addition, trading volume on the hotel, tourism, and restaurant indices shows different results between these indices. The hotel sector shows that when the government imposed the PSBB and PPKM there was a difference in the trading volume's statistical value, which was negative and significant except for PPKM-Zonation and PPKM-Emergency. The tourism sector shows negative and significant differences in trade volume values for PSBB and PPKM-Zonation, and PPKM-Emergency with positive differences. Finally, the restaurant sector found negative and significant differences during PSBB Transitional-I and positive trade volume differences during PPKM-Zonation

Abstract

Metode pembayaran dipengaruhi oleh pertumbuhan e-commerce yang sangat pesat. Uang elektronik, yang pasti ada dalam teknologi, juga dapat digunakan sebagai pembayaran tanpa tunai. Salah satu sistem pembayaran adalah Paylater. Paylater adalah pembayaran dengan cara hutang; mereka melakukan pembayaran tanpa harus dilunasi secara langsung, tetapi mereka dapat dibayar dengan angsuran bulanan dengan bunga. Generasi Z menyukai paylater karena sangat praktis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana literasi dan perilaku keuangan digital memengaruhi keputusan untuk menggunakan paylater, menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mendapatkan data dari survei dan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 80 responden penelitian. Hasil pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan tidak mempengaruhi keputusan untuk menggunakan paylater; namun, perilaku keuangan digital mempengaruhi keputusan untuk menggunakan paylater.

Abstract

Investasi di pasar saham menghadirkan risiko dan peluang yang tinggi, termasuk dengan instrumen derivatif seperti opsi saham. Model matematika seperti Black-Scholes dan Binomial telah dikembangkan untuk menentukan harga opsi, namun keakuratan keduanya masih menjadi perdebatan, terutama untuk berbagai periode jatuh tempo. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang keakuratan model penentuan harga opsi yang berbeda berdasarkan periode jatuh tempo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan keakuratan Model Black-Scholes dan Model Binomial dalam menentukan nilai opsi beli saham Netflix, Inc. (NFLX) berdasarkan volatilitas harga saham dan periode jatuh tempo (1 bulan, 2 bulan, dan 3 bulan). Penelitian menggunakan data opsi saham Netflix dari Januari hingga November 2024. Nilai opsi dihitung menggunakan kedua model, dengan evaluasi berdasarkan Price Absolute Error untuk masing-masing periode jatuh tempo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model Black-Scholes lebih akurat untuk periode jatuh tempo 1 bulan, sementara Model Binomial lebih akurat untuk periode 2 dan 3 bulan. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai Price Absolute Error yang lebih kecil pada masing-masing model untuk periode tersebut. Temuan ini relevan untuk investor dalam memilih model yang sesuai untuk meminimalkan risiko investasi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how SME performance is influenced by digital finance and digital payment, mediated by risk perception. This study employs a quantitative approach using primary data. Data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire as the research instrument. The population of this study includes SMEs in the creative economy sector that have adopted digital finance and digital payment. The research sample was selected based on research needs, with a total of 130 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS. The results indicate that digital finance has a significant positive effect on SME performance, and risk perception is not proven to mediate the relationship between digital finance and SME performance. Meanwhile, digital payment is found to have no effect on SME performance, whereas risk perception is proven to mediate the relationship between digital payment and SME performance. This research is expected to provide insights for SME actors regarding the use of digital finance and digital payment in business methods. For future researchers, it is recommended to expand the geographical scope of the study and explore other variables that influence digital technology adoption, such as government regulations or cultural factors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect effects of human resource (HR) development on work productivity, mediated by employee competence, in the context of organizations in North Central Timor Regency (TTU). This research employed an explanatory quantitative design, utilizing primary data collected through structured questionnaires administered to 349 employees in TTU Regency. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS 4.0 software to test the mediation model. The findings show that HR development has a positive and significant direct effect on improving employee competence in TTU Regency. Employee competence directly and significantly enhances work productivity. The direct effect of HR development on work productivity in TTU Regency is positive but statistically insignificant. HR development exerts a positive and significant indirect effect on work productivity through employee competence as a mediating variable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memperkenalkan sebuah model peramalan harga saham PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk di Indonesia menggunakan analisis time series. Saham menjadi topik perbincangan utama dalam bidang ekonomi karena instrumen investasi ini memiliki risiko yang tinggi. Upaya yang digunakan untuk memprediksi pergerakan harga saham di masa depan adalah dengan peramalan time series. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari sumber data Yahoo Finance yang mencakup harga close saham PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk selama periode Januari 2010 hingga Januari 2023. Melalui analisis data, ditemukan bahwa harga saham tersebut bersifat fluktuatif dan memiliki pola trend peningkatan dengan pola musiman yang tidak teratur. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah SARIMA, yaitu model ARIMA yang mempertimbangkan unsur musiman. Adapun model peramalan yang dikembangkan adalah ARIMA(0,1,0),(1,1,1),12 dengan persamaan . Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model tersebut memenuhi uji signifikansi parameter dan uji diagnostik residual, serta memiliki nilai AIC yang paling rendah dibandingkan dengan model lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, model ARIMA(0,1,0),(1,1,1),12 memiliki nilai MAPE sebesar 4.6283% < 10% sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai alat peramalan yang efektif untuk memprediksi harga saham PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk di masa depan. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan strategi investasi bagi investor dan pengambil keputusan di bidang keuangan.

Abstract

The trade war between the United States and China occurred because both countries implemented protectionist policies, which led to increased import tariffs on each other’s products. The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in the selling price of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) in Indonesia before and after the trade war between the United States and China. This comparative study aims to examine two groups of variables across different periods. It employs a quantitative approach using secondary data, specifically the selling prices of CPO in Indonesia from January 2013 to December 2024. Data were collected through documentation and literature review. Based on the wilcoxon, the Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.001, which is less than 0.05, indicating a significant difference in the selling price of CPO in Indonesia before and after the trade war.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance of Village Fund Allocation (ADD) management in Gampong Lampulo during the 2021–2023 period using three financial ratio approaches: effectiveness ratio, efficiency ratio, and growth ratio. The research addresses a gap in the literature by comprehensively combining these three ratios into a single analytical framework. A quantitative descriptive method with documentation techniques was employed. Data were obtained from the Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBDes) Realization Reports for 2021–2023. The results show that ADD management in Gampong Lampulo was generally effective and efficient, although some fluctuations occurred. The effectiveness ratio ranged from 85.80% to 100%, and the efficiency ratio from 82.64% to 90.78%, falling into the "good" category. However, the growth ratio for revenue and expenditure tended to be low and showed a declining trend in 2023. These findings indicate the need for more strategic financial planning and diversification of funding sources to ensure sustainable village development.

Abstract

Eksistensi emosi, inersia, dan pembelian impulsif menjadi fenomena dalam perilaku seseorang. Ketiga konstruk tersebut merupakan konsekuensi atas kehadiran produk hedonik dalam sebuah pasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi pengaruh produk bernilai hedonik terhadap emosi konsumen, inersia, dan pembelian impulsif serta mengeksplorasi peran emosi konsumen dalam menghubungkan produk hedonik dengan inersia dan pembelian impulsif. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, sebanyak 182 responden digunakan berdasarkan purposive sampling dengan kriteria berusia lebih dari 18 tahun dan merupakan konsumen reguler. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan produk hedonik mampu mempengaruhi emosi konsumen dan pembelian impulsif, namun tidak signifikan dalam memprediksi inersia. Temuan lainnya menunjukkan adanya peran emosi konsumen dalam memediasi pengaruh produk hedonik baik terhadap inersia maupun pembelian impulsif. Adapun temuan dalam studi ini dapat digunakan sebagai pembelajaran dalam membangkitkan ikatan emosi positif konsumen sehingga mendorong inersia dan pembelian impulsif.

Abstract

The use of "Electronic Human Resource Management" (E-HRM) helps companies become more efficient as a result of the fierce competition among them to recruit and retain professional staff. However, it was found that there was an issue that the adoption of this system was not uniform in various companies, which caused a gap in the effectiveness of its use. This study aims to analyze the relationship between antecedents, behavioral intentions, E-HRM use, and E-HRM effectiveness. The research method implemented was in the form of a qualitative method, by raising the population in the form of all HR who have used E-HRM in a company located in Batam City, by sampling through purposive sampling, to obtain a sample of 280. The results of the study highlight the importance of fostering an organizational environment that supports and ensures employee readiness to optimize E-HRM results. The results of the hypothesis test indicate that performance expectancy and effort expectancy have a significant positive effect on behavioral intention. Performance expectancy had a significant positive effect on E-HRM usage, but effort expectancy could not show a significant effect on E-HRM Usage. Directly, E-HRM Efficacy Level is influenced by variables such as Performance expectancy, behavioral intention, and E-HRM usage, but cannot be directly influenced by Effort Expectancy.
