Psychological capital becomes a foundation in facing a challenge, and the presence of a motivation that does not escape in human behavior. The subjects were 58 students of Faculty of Psychology UIN SGD Bandung who are active in some other activities outside the lecture. Correlational quantitative research method is used to find indirect influence of variable IV to DV through mediator variable. Measuring instruments use psychological capital questionnaire (PCQ), work life balance scale, and intrinsic motivation inventory (IMI). The results showed that psychological capital has no significant effect on work life balance directly or indirectly (through mediator). Descriptive analysis results show subjects who have psychological capital of high category 53% and low 47%, on WLB high category 50% and low 50%, and on intrinsic motivation high category 50% and low 50%.

Abstract

This research was conducted in SMAN Pakusari with the aim of knowing the effect of the guided inquiry learning model with the pictorial riddle method on learning activities and learning outcomes of high school students on the material of optical tools. The population used was all class XI in SMAN Pakusari and the selected sample are a class of XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 5 by using purposive sampling method. This research  used  pretest- posttest control group design . Data collection methods used in this research is a method of documentation, observation, and tests. The data collection instruments used were in the form of observation sheets to assess student learning activities and multiple choice tests to assess student learning outcomes. The results of the data analysis using the independent sample t-test showed the value of Sig. 2-tailed less than 0.05 (0,000 < 0.05) on student learning activity data and the independent sample t-test on learning outcomes shows sig 2.Tailed> 0.05 (0.159 > 0.05) on student learning outcomes data. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry model with the pictorial riddle method has a significant effect on the learning activities and learning outcomes of high school students.

Abstract

The use of learning models and strategies that have not been effective causes a lack of interest in learning for vocational high school students. So that it becomes one of the factors for the low learning outcomes of SMK (vocational high school) students. This research aims to determine the difference in average learning outcomes in the aspects of knowledge, attitudes and skills of electric motor installation study due to the influence of the application of Challenge Based Learning combined with Scaffolding Learning strategies with Creative Problem Solving combined with Scaffolding Learning strategies in class XI TITL SMK students. The method of this study was a pretest and posttest with a quasi-experimental type of research. The Challenge Based Learning learning model combined with the Scaffolding Learning strategy and Creative Problem Solving combined with the Scaffolding Learning strategy are the independent variables in this study. Learning Outcomes of Electric Motor Installation is the dependent variable with the research subjects of class XI TITL A and TITL B SMK as many as 35 students. The results of the t-test on the knowledge aspect of electric motor installations obtained a value of 0.042 and the results of the attitude and skills t-test obtained a value of 0.031. Based on these results, both of them have significant results on the differences from the application of the two models combined with the strategy. The results show that there are differences in the average learning outcomes of knowledge, attitudes and skills because the influence of the CBL learning model combined with the SL strategy is higher than the CPS model combined with the SL strategy for class XI TITL SMK in IML subjects

Abstract

This study aims to determine constructivism-based learning using a science virtual laboratory combination with demonstration to improve the critical thinking skills of junior high school students. The design in this study is the pretest-posttest control group design. The trial was conducted on students of SMP class VIII, which consisted of three classes, two classes as the experimental class and one class as the control class which were taken randomly (cluster random sampling) from a homogeneous population. The data collection technique used in this research is the multiple choice test method with reasoned questions to measure the critical thinking skills of junior high school students. The pretest and posttest data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA. The results showed that constructivism-based learning using a virtual laboratory science demonstration combination had a positive impact on the critical thinking skills of junior high school students with a significance value of <0.05. Meanwhile, students who only used the science virtual laboratory and demonstrations did not experience a significant increase in critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the implementation of e-rapor based assessment result reporting at SMAN 9 Balikpapan Utara. This research is a field research with qualitative research methods that are descriptive-analytic. This research shows that the implementation of e-rapor based assessment result reporting at SMAN 9 Balikpapan Utara is supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure, the ability of human resources that is good enough in operating these devices and there are school administrators who have adequate understanding of the operation of technology. Overall, the implementation of the e-Rapor at SMAN 9 Balikpapan Utara is quite good and effective where the e-Report is sufficient to help the teacher's task in the process of managing and reporting the assessment results. However, there are still a few obstacles in the application process such as technical constraints at the beginning of implementation, especially from elderly teachers. The solution to overcome these obstacles is to socialize and provide assistance by those who are more experts.

Abstract

Slow learning is a learning disability in children that greatly slows down the learning process so that every learning activity takes longer than their peers. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a learning design defined as the design of material that is generally made to be more easily understood by diverse students in an inclusive classroom. That way, UDL aims to minimize learning difficulties for students with different learning needs, including students with special needs. In learning, media is an important factor that helps support learning success, especially for students with special needs, including children who are slow to learn. Learning media that are considered suitable to support the success of children slow to learn are interactive games whose core material is presented in the form of videos that are enhanced with audio and visual media. Audio media with narrated and text, graphics, images, visual animations, and interesting kinesthetic interactions to sharpen students' abilities. The method used to create this article is literature review from various relevant sources. The result of this study is that the use of interactive game learning media based on Universal Design Learning (UDL) can help provide convenience for slow learner students in understanding the subject matter at school.
