Abstract

Hydroponics is a technique of growing crops without using soil as a growth medium. A plant that is often cultivated and applied to hydroponic practices and has a relatively fast harvest period is mustard pakcoy(Brassica rapa subsp. chinensis). To produce healthy and quality mustard pakcoy, monitoring is needed, especially during the seeding period for ±21 days. When the seedling period is over, the plant must be removed immediately so that it does not quickly age and inhibit vegetative growth. In this study, an automatic monitoring system for the number of mustard pakcoy leaves was designed. This system utilizes image processing and uses a raspberry pi-based Artificial Neural Network method in its manufacture. The mustard leaf image will be captured using a webcam camera which will then be processed into a raspberry pi and the detection results will be displayed on a 16x2 i2C LCD. The training data used in this study were 300 data. The results of 40 tests carried out by this monitoring system get an accuracy of 92.5% with a system computing time of 4.6445 seconds and a computation time of the ANN method 1.2185 seconds.

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country, where the agricultural sector has a very important role in improving the national economy. One type of food crop in Indonesia is rice, which currently Indonesian people still use rice as a staple food. The process for planting and caring for rice in Indonesia is currently still less effective and efficient, this has an impact on harvest and post-harvest yields including farmers will lose as much as 20.51% of rice when the harvest time is not right, rice that falls by 9, 52%, rice lost during drying time was 2.13% and the loss during milling was 2.19%. Currently, farmers are still routinely checking the rice fields to see if the rice is ready to be harvested, but farmers have problems checking the paddy fields because erratic weather factors can affect the growth of rice plants. Based on this problem, the authors developed a pre-existing tool using the TCS3200 color sensor to detect the value of leaf color and rice panicle color using the Random Forest method to see whether the rice classification results are ready to be harvested which will be displayed on the 16x2 LCD output and the sound on the buzzer. , so that farmers do not lose their crops due to loss and can get maximum yields. After testing 20 times by inserting the object into the hole on the tool that has been made, the system can detect RGB color values with a low percentage of error. From the results of testing the Random Forest method, the results of the test accuracy are 95% with an average computation time of 38.95ms.

Abstract

The Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) because pregnancy in 2019 in the world is very high, at 303,000. Indonesia has the third highest MMR in 2017 with 177 deaths/100,000 births. Village Maternity Boarding School (POLINDES) participates reducing MMR because pregnancy. The results of interviews with pregnant women and midwives found problems at POLINDES are pregnancy data collection still manual, consultation must be in place, access to health information or the presence of a midwife is difficult to reach. The purpose of this research was to design a user experience application for pregnant women's health monitoring at POLINDES to facilitate online services between pregnant women and midwives. The user experience research method uses Human-Centered Design with the stages of literature study, user context analysis, user needs analysis, solution design, and solution design evaluation. This research produces wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, then tests using usability testing. Usability testing was conducted on 5 pregnant women and 5 midwives. The results of testing for pregnant women, the effectiveness aspect is 88,23%, the efficiency aspect is 0,139 goals/sec, and the satisfaction aspect is 85 in Excellent category with grade scale B. The test results for midwive, the effectiveness aspect is 90,62%, the efficiency aspect is 0,087 goals/sec, and the satisfaction aspect is 70,5 in Good category with grade scale C.

Abstract

CV Mita is a party equipment rental company. The entire customer service process from ordering, payment, to storage of rental data archives is done manually. This causes problems such as difficulty in accessing information by customers, the risk of data loss and errors in recording, and inefficient transaction checking. Based on the description of the problem, a solution was found by building a party equipment rental information system using the Midtrans Payment Gateway. The development of this information system is based on the Waterfall Model SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) Method. This information system is used by 4 actors with 23 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. All of these requirements are designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML), Physical Data Model (PDM), and User Interface by creating wireframes. UML in this study includes activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams. Then the design results are implemented using the programming language PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Laravel Framework, and MySQL database. The testing process in this study consisted of Blackbox testing, Compatibility testing, and User Acceptance Test (UAT). Blackbox testing has 17 test scenarios that get 100% accepted results. Compatibility testing using Sortsite software with the result that the system can be run on a variety of browsers without any problem of system functional loss. Then User Acceptance Testing (UAT) produces a percentage of 83.5% on the admin page and 82.4% on the customer page. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developed system can be accepted by users with the criteria of Strongly Agree.

Abstract

Control on the water quality of freshwater fish ponds is the main thing that must be considered, whether consuming freshwater fish or ornamental freshwater fish. Fish pond water quality parameters that can be controlled for example are temperature and ammonia as parameters that can affect the survival and lifestyle of fish. To overcome this, a water quality control and monitoring system is needed in freshwater fish ponds that can help with these problems. This system receives the results of sensor readings which will later be processed in the microcontroller using the fuzzy method to determine the output of the system. The temperature sensor used is the ds18b20 sensor. Based on the tests that have been carried out in this study, the average value of the reading error from the ds18b20 sensor is 0.95%. The ammonia sensor used is the mq-135 sensor, based on the tests that have been carried out in this study, the average error value of the mq-135 sensor reading is 0%. The Sugeno model fuzzy method used in this study after testing the value with an average error of 3.92%. The system is able to run computations from fuzzy method calculations with an average time of 1.4 seconds

Abstract

As an agricultural country, Indonesia should prioritize developments in the agricultural sector. Monitoring and counseling have a great effect on increasing the productivity and welfare of farmers. The aim is to monitor the activities carried out by farmers and provide education so that farmers' production techniques develop. The process of agricultural counseling activities still takes a long time. This is because counseling is hampered by distance and materials received by farmers. This was exacerbated during the COVID-19 pandemic because monitoring and counseling activities were constrained by the government's policy of limiting activities. The goal of this research to design a user experience for agricultural monitoring and counseling applications so that the monitoring and counseling process between farmers and extension workers can be done anytime and anywhere. The method used is human-centered design which consists of user context analysis, user needs analysis, solution design and solution design evaluation. the evaluation process uses usability testing and system usability scale. The test was carried out on 5 farmer respondents and 5 extension respondents. testing from the extension workers resulted in an effectiveness value of 82%, an efficiency value of 0.051 goals/sec and a satisfaction value of 80 with grade B. While testing from farmers resulted in an effectiveness value of 87%, an efficiency value of 0.108 goals/sec and a satisfaction value of 80, 5 with grade A.

Abstract

Investment is not new thing for most people, especially bitcoin which is very popular in recent years. Understanding the trend of price movements in investing is very important insight for investors to minimize investment risk, but predicting trend changes is very difficult challenge because it has fluctuating difference in value. The value of the increase and decrease in price of bitcoin is influenced by uncertainty factors such as political problems, economic problems at global level. So, need an algorithm that can predict prices in the future which is one strategy to maximize profits in investing. This study performs several processes to predict bitcoin price movements including, pre-processing, normalization, training the Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm, evaluating regression matrix using Mean Square Error (MSE). Based on the results of tests that have been carried out in this study, LSTM algorithm can predict bitcoin price movements as evidenced by the MSE evaluation matrix value of 0.00374 with test parameters including 64 hidden_size, 18 sequence data, optimizer Adam, learning_rate of 0.005, and epoch 200. This research also involves several weight updated algorithms including Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD), Stochastic Gradient Descent with Momentum (SGDM), and Adaptive Moment Estimation (ADAM) to find optimal prediction results.

Abstract

The rapid development of Information Technology (IT) facilitates various fields, including the government sector. The application of IT in the government sector is carried out in the application of the smart city concept which consists of the application of 6 pillars. The application of the smart city concept in Malang City has been echoed since 2014 and is targeted for completion in 2022. Of the six pillars of smart city, smart governance is the pillar related to bureaucratic affairs. RW 12 Tulusrejo Village is one of the areas that requires the implementation of smart governance. RW 12 has 3 services, namely information services, finance, and letter submission. However, the implementation of these services is not optimal due to several obstacles. The first obstacle is that the data stored is still in the form of printed archives, making it difficult to provide data. The second obstacle is the pandemic situation in Indonesia which makes residents a bit afraid to meet in submitting letters. The third obstacle is the busyness of the RT and RW management which makes them not in place so that it hinders residents who want to submit letters. Therefore, a mobile application for the Rukun Warga community service was developed using the MASAM development method and the flutter framework. The results of the application design produce 16 use cases and the results of testing applications that are built on the usability side produce an SUS value of 70 for citizen applications and an SUS value of 68.5 for administrator applications.

Abstract

Vehicular Ad hoc Network (VANET) is prone to experience congestion problems. The congestion may cause the packet to be stuck, and fails to arrive at its destination. In this study, modifications to the HWMP protocol will be carried out to overcome the congestion problem. The modification made is to apply a threshold to monitor the queue at the node. If a node is starting to get congested, the node will send a Congestion Control Notification Frame (CCNF) to other nodes. The CCNF function is to notify other nodes that the node cannot receive packets for a while. So that an alternative route that excludes the congested node will be formed. Tests will be carried out on 3 different mobility models, namely, the Manhattan model, the Freeway model, and the real map. From those test, 4 parameters such as average end-to-end delay, packet delivery ratio (PDR), throughput, and normalized routing load will be measured. Based on the results of the tests, it is known that the modified protocol is superior in PDR and throughput, but there is a decrease in performance in average end-to-end delay and normalized routing load.

Abstract

With the increasingly rapid spread of smartphones, mobile gaming applications are increasing all over the world. Games finally began to develop and emerged called online games. Online games are electronic games that are connected to the internet network that are played through various game devices, and can be played by many users at the same time. Although it can be played for free, players can use their in-game money to improve their gaming experience. Players can buy items that make the game faster to level up, or get limited items to improve the playing experience. Because many people spend their money to make in-game purchases, a feature called gacha appears. Players can buy the gacha using a certain amount of money or so-called top-ups. From buying gacha, players will get prizes at random, with different levels of prize rarity, that's why people call it similar to gambling and sweepstakes. Gacha seems to motivate and trigger the desire to buy players so that players spend more money on gacha in the game even though the price and percentage of wins for rare prizes are determined by the game provider. The purpose of this study is to find out what are the factors in purchasing gacha in online games, and the influence of gacha in the experience of playing online games. This research, the author uses a qualitative method.
