Abstract

A project management system is a software that is used in helping project managers supervise the completion of projects, especially software, some obstacles cause the project to be unsuccessful including poor management factors, and lack of user involvement in providing feedback. PT. Arkatama is one of the companies that use the software. The author finds that there are problems faced by PT. Arkatama at the time of using the software one of the problems found was the limitation of features and users because the software used was paid and required adjustments in advance so that there was a possibility of obstruction of project completion, from the findings of the problem the company decided to build a project management system by adjusting to the needs of the company and making the system an internal office application The author assists in supporting the creation of the system by analyzing the needs to model the wireframe. The stages of this study are realising the need to find the root of the problem, identifying mapped problems, then modeling business processes using the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), especially in the process of changing needs and reporting progress, then analyzing the need to obtain software features and modeled with use case diagrams and explained with use case scenarios and producing 41 use cases, lastly continued until creating a wireframe from the use case scenario. Then an evaluation was carried out on the wireframe to get input from stakeholders as software users, the evaluation results were obtained with 3 inputs and 3 suggestions for improvements that focused on the appearance of the system, and the last stage of checking the needs that have been described the evaluation is carried out with traceability to produce functional needs that have been defined correctly and are by the wireframe.

Abstract

Heart disease or cardiovascular disease is one of leading causes of death worldwide. In Indonesia there are more than two million cases per year. Premature Atrial Contraction (PAC) is a heart disease in the atrium section where this heart rhythm disturbance occurs with symptoms of a faster or slower and irregular heartbeat. Currently, Premature Atrial Contraction (PAC) examination is performed by cardiologists with patients undergoing ECG tests. However, the cost of ECG examination is quite expensive and also the pandemic conditions caused restrictions to public places and hospitals. Therefore, a solution is offered in this study to identify early PAC heart rhythm disorders. This study makes a prototype using several devices such as Arduino Nano as Microcontroller, AD8232 Sensor and Electrodes to get ECG signal and also LCD to display the heart information output either “normal” or “PAC”. The main features in this system are RR intervals and QRS complex and apply classification using Naive Bayes Classifier. The results of the naive bayes classification in this study achieved an accuracy value of 91,67% using 24 training data and 12 testing data with an average computation time of 3,35 milisecond.

Abstract

The Department of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) of Malang City is responsible for managing the population administration of the people of Malang City. This management is supported by an information system that capable of serving population administration activities through the Sistem Informasi Aplikasi Pelayanan Elektronik (SIAPEL) Malang Kota website. Based on an interview with the Dukcapil of Malang City, the SIAPEL Malang Kota website has only been used by a small number of people in Malang City and its usability aspect has never been evaluated. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate to see the level of usability and quality of the services provided. The purpose of this study was to see the level of usability on the SIAPEL Malang City website and provide recommendations for design improvements from the usability problems found. Evaluation using the Cognitive walkthrough method involves six evaluators. Each evaluator works on 11 task scenarios, then answers four thought provoking questions (TPQ). The results of the evaluation found 25 usability problems, then analyzed so that they became 21 unique usability problems. The most usability problems found by evaluator 5 were eight problems, most were found in task scenario 8 with seven problems, and most related to TPQ2 questions with 13 problems. Usability issues are discussed for improvement suggestions. These suggestions become the main source in the preparation of recommendations for improvement. The improvement design refers to the HHS Guidelines. Design improvements on the SIAPEL Malang Kota website resulted in design improvements on nine pages with a total of 11 designs.

Abstract

Lazada is one of the many online shopping platforms in Indonesia. However, Lazada still lags behind 2 other e-commerce giants, namely Shopee and Tokopedia. According to IDNTimes in a survey regarding the competition in the e-commerce industry during the end of 2021 and DailySocial.id regarding what e-commerce applications are often used, Lazada is still ranked 3rd compared to the other 2 competitors. This study aims to evaluate the user experience of the Lazada online shopping mobile application which focuses on the home page from the customer's perspective using usability testing methods and usability scale systems. The design thinking method is used in this study to find solutions to problems and improve the quality of the Lazada application user experience. In this study, a total of 12 problems were found which then resulted in 11 recommendations for improvement which were designed to become a prototype of an improvement design. The results of testing the old design and design improvements to 6 respondents in this study resulted in an increase in the three components tested, namely, the effectiveness component from an average of 83.33% to 100%, the efficiency component from an average of 0.039 goals/sec to 0.127 goals/ sec and the satisfaction component with the results in the old design, which is 45 which is included in the category of grade scale E and the adjective rating Awful becomes 77.5 which is included in the category of grade scale B and adjective rating Good.

Abstract

Suto Architect is an SME that operates in designing a various building designs and construction development projects in accordance with previously designed designs. The problem with Suto Architect's business is that they can only save their project requirement's note manually. This resulted in evidence of the project requirement's notes which was often tucked away and hampered to record their financial notes of project. Therefore, Suto Architect needs a solution in the form of an application that can make it easier to record and store their project requirement's notes. This research will focus on designing the user experience of a note-type mobile application called SME Accountancy using the Human Centered Design approach. Human Centered Design was chosen because the approach prioritizes user needs, capabilities, and behavior. The results of this study are in the form of mockup which is tested to end users. Tests include usability testing and user experience testing. The results of usability testing on the effectiveness aspect are 87.55%, the efficiency aspect is 0.106 goals/sec, and the user satisfaction aspect is 5.958 if interpreted in the SEQ assessment including the easy category. Then the user experience test using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) with the results of the clarity rating scale being categorized as above average, the attractiveness, efficiency, and novelty rating scale having good categories, and the accuracy and stimulation rating scale being categorized as excellent.

Abstract

Nutrition is a health status based on a balance between needs and nutrients. Toddlers can be said undernourished if the measurement of the W/A z-score <-2SD, and stunting if the measurement of the H/A z-score <-2SD. Currently, the determination of nutritional status and stunting is still using conventional measurements and matched with the standard book table of children's nutritional status from the Ministry of Health. Therefore, a system developed can detect weight and height as well as nutritional status and risk of stunting in toddlers. This system uses ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 to measure height, load cell and HX711 module to measure weight and backpropagation NN to predict nutritional status in toddlers. The implementation of nutritional status with the backpropagation NN method is divided into 2, namely nutritional status with poor and good classes, and stunting risk with low and high classes. The system has a height of 125 cm and a square footing with a width of 30cm x 30cm. Using MLP Topology Workbench for data panning using 3 input layers, 12 hidden layers, and 1 output layer for each backpropagation NN implementation. The ultrasonic sensor test got an accuracy of 98.5%, the load cell sensor test got an accuracy of 94.7%, the test on the method got 100% accuracy, and the overall system test got an accuracy of 96.6%.

Abstract

Farmers often have difficulty in marketing their agricultural products. Besides the small market, the game of middlemen is the biggest enemy for the farmers. So that in buying and selling activities, farmers receive sales results far from the actual profit. The solution to these problems, researchers provide a solution that is offered, namely a website platform Mepisar.id. Through the website, it will be able to contain information regarding education and price monitoring, mapping of commodity yields in an area. The five planes method is the approach method used in this study. The goal is to create application designs according to user needs. The evaluation carried out got a good usability value. The usability values ​​obtained include the effectiveness aspect from the user's side, getting a score of 88%, and from the seller's side it gets a value of 89%. Then the efficiency aspect from the user's side gets a value of 0.105 goals/sec, and from the seller's side it gets a value of 0.094 goals/sec. For the satisfaction aspect using the usability scale (SUS) system, the user gets a score of 91.5 and the seller gets a score of 85 with grade A, adjective excellent, acceptable, and promoter. The UEQ results on the attractiveness aspect got a score of 2.85. Perspicuity aspect got a score of 2.88. The efficiency aspect gets a value of 2.85. Dependability aspect got a value of 2.90. The stimulation aspect got a score of 2.83 and the novelty aspect got a score of 2.58 which was converted into a benchmark scale into the excellent category.

Abstract

Cooking oil is a staple ingredient that people consume in their daily life. There are various types of oil circulating among the public, including packaged oil, bulk oil, and used cooking oil. The use of cooking oil repeatedly can damage the quality of cooking oil and increase the risk of several diseases, including carcinoma. To determine the quality of oil, there are several kinds of chemical tests, including the determination of the peroxide number, saponification number, iodine number, and acid number. And can also be seen directly through the color and clarity of the oil. The design of this classification system uses color and clarity as input features of the system and used cooking oil as test objects and system datasets. To measure color and clarity, TCS3200 and LDR sensors are used. The classification process starts from inserting the used cooking oil object into a 50ml beaker glass, then inserting the beaker glass into the system with a 1cm position next to the TCS3200 and LDR sensors. The light will pass through the object and go to the TCS3200 and LDR sensors, then the reading results will be sent and processed via Arduino UNO using the K-Nearest Neighbor method and the final result in the form of proper and less appropriate classification will be displayed on the LCD monitor. The K-Nearest Neighbor classification was chosen because it is considered to have good accuracy with a limited dataset. The dataset is divided into 2, namely, 17 training data and 8 test data. From the results of the tests carried out with 8 test data for used cooking oil, the accuracy results were 75%.

Abstract

Life insurance is a service that can provide financial protection benefits against the risk of death or disease. Currently, Jago wants features to support users' lifestyles not just sell financial products. considering that not everyone has planned for the future because they want to be more optimistic and less negative because the future is scary. Following up on the existing problems, the Last Wish life insurance mobile application was designed to provide a positive and pleasant view. This design involves Bank Jago stakeholders. The design thinking approach is used to create a good user experience because it is user-centered, able to generate new innovations, and more focused on understanding user needs. Then usability and user experience tests were carried out on 10 respondents to evaluate the solution design. We got 3 usability testing results: 97.33% effectiveness, 0.082, efficiency, and 82.25 user satisfaction with adjective ratings of good. Then get the results of user experience testing using user experience questions (UEQ). The attractiveness scale of 2.43 is very good, the clarity scale of 1.95 is good, the efficiency scale of 2.45 is very good, the accuracy scale of 2.23 is very good, and the novelty scale of 2.43 is very good.
