Abstract

Games are increasingly in demand day by day. However, people's understanding of the history of the area is decreasing. This is evidenced by the less and less young people who understand how the history of the region can happen, such as the story of Reog, although it is famous, there are still many Ponorogo residents, especially the younger generation who lack know how the reog dance happened and how it originated.This study aims to determine whether there are differences in knowledge and interest in reading at Elementary School Bangunsari 1 Ponorogo. In this study, a purposive sampling method was used for data collection and the GDLC ( Game Development Life Cycle ) method for game application development.This research was conducted by comparing children's knowledge about reog before and after testing with the game. The game to be made is a visual novel game where the game is centered on story-telling.The results of this study indicate that children's knowledge increases when they play the reog game, but the game is still less attractive to the students of SD Bangunsari 1 Ponorogo due to the lack of action in the game..

Abstract

Social media is a place for people to convey opinions, and also criticism. The social media that is often used by Indonesian people to express their opinions is Twitter. Twitter can be a forum for Indonesian people to express their opinions and aspirations on certain matters, such as policies made by the government. One of the policies that has sparked public discussion on social media Twitter is increasing cigarettes tax by an average of 10% starting in 2023. This policy has drawn pros and cons from the public, therefore an analysis of public sentiment regarding the cigarette tax increase policy can be carried out. This study will analyze public sentiment contained in the tweets of Twitter users about the increase cigarette tax into the classification of positive and negative sentiments. The execution process is implemented in Google Colaboratory with the Naive Bayes Classifier algorithm. Processes in the sentiment analysis which include data collection, manual labeling, text preprocessing, TF-IDF weighting, data balancing with the Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE), data validation using k-fold cross validation, and test the classification results with the confusion matrix. The best accuracy results of 74% were obtained by using the data balance SMOTE results with a comparison of training data: test data of 90%:10%, text preprocessing, TF-IDF weighting, and use Multinomial Naive Bayes. The highest cross-validation score obtained was 78% with an average of 73%. Based on these results, the Naive Bayes Classifier is quite good as an alternative for sentiment analysis.

Abstract

In order to propogate innovation for service providers, the Government through The Ministry of Administrative andBureaucratic Refom of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenpan RB) held a Public-Service Innovation Competition (KIPP). In order to accomodate incoming innovations, it is necessary to have a medium to disseminate, as well as become a forum for incoming innovations so that they can inspire and be utilized by other public service providers to accelerate the development of these innovations. Kemenpan RB Stakeholders require the National Public Service Innovation Network (JIPPNAS) website to be made based on the guidelines for Minister of PANRB Regulation No. 89 in 2020. Based on these needs, researchers provide a solution by designing the user experience for JIPPNAS website which creates the final result in the form of a high fidelity prototype. In the process of designing the interface, the author prefer the method of design thinking. This method was chosen because it focuses on the user in the design process. The design thinking method consists of five stages, which is; Empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan testing. The design of the solution is then measure based on three aspects, including pilot study, evaluation of user testing, and evaluation using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). From the test results using the UEQ, the mean value on each UEQ scale is in the positive category, with all UEQ scales in the excellent category, except for the novelty scale, which is in the good category.

Abstract

Population data is very important for the life of the state, because population data is needed for various kinds of government administration services. One source of population data itself is from population data registration. With the development of information technology in Indonesia, registration of population data that was previously done manually can now be done digitally. Then to be able to meet these needs, an online form or web form is needed. Until now there are various types of forms that can be used according to these needs. Several types of forms that are commonly used on various websites today are single-page and multi-page forms. Single-page has the advantage of being easy to check data entries. Multi-page has the advantage of dividing data entry into several parts so filling out the form doesn't feel long and tiring. With each of these advantages, this research focuses on a comparative analysis between single-page and multi-page forms on time efficiency in filling in population data. Comparisons were made using normality tests and parametric comparison tests to determine differences between the two types of forms. The calculation results show that there is a difference between single-page and multi-page designs in terms of time efficiency which leads to multi-page forms whose average time efficiency is better than single-page.

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 has an impact on students' readiness in carrying out the learning process, readiness in the learning process is vital in the learning system. Student motivation is an indicator of readiness in dealing with existing learning methods. However, low motivation often occurs because there is no initiative and consistency. Student motivation can be prepared through goal-setting training to overcome these problems. Goal-setting training is able to increase student learning motivation and spur increased productivity. Thus, this study aims to assist learning readiness through goal-setting training as well as the potential for increased productivity in the education sector. The addition of the application of the accountability partner system can increase individual performance in completing a goal by 95%. The application design uses the human-centered design method through several stages of analysis aimed at producing a solution design that is easy to understand and answers user problems. The design evaluation process for the daily goals management mobile application uses usability testing with an assessment of the SUS questionnaire. The design test results obtained an effectiveness value of 97.85%, an efficiency level of 93.70%, and the satisfaction aspect reached 79 out of 100. Based on these values, the benchmark design of the user experience mobile daily goals management application is included in the grade B category, good adjective rating, and acceptable category.

Abstract

Norilyascake is a food business that was founded in 2017 with the business of producing and selling birthday cakes that serve customers with a business to consumer business model. Along with the development of technology, Norilyascake wants to maximize their marketing, especially on search engines as a form of taking advantage of technological developments. Currently, norilyascake has implemented their marketing via Instagram. However, SEO optimization cannot be done because Norilyascake does not have a website or page. So, this research begins with creating a website using Wordpress, using the address https://norilyascake.com. After creating the website, it is then continued with on-page and off-page Search Engine Optimization (SEO) optimization by utilizing the Yoast SEO, Elementor and Fast Velocity Minify plugins on WordPress. The method used is research and development or implementative. This is to test the effectiveness of the implementation of on-page SEO and off-page SEO in terms of performance, the number of visitors and the ranking of the norilyascake.com website on the Google search engine. Based on the results of website analysis, on-page SEO analysis, off-page SEO analysis and competitors, with Who.is, Yoast SEO, Elementor and Fast Velocity Minify it can be seen that norilyascake.com requires optimization of on-page SEO and off-page SEO to align norilyascake.com with Google's algorithm rules to compete with websites that are at the 10th rank of Google SERP. In addition, after the analysis is done, the author will implement on-page SEO and off-page SEO on norilyascake.com. Based on the results of the test, there is an increase in performance, visitors, and search engine rankings. Improved performance from 1 query, 22 impressions and 5 clicks to 19 queries, 295 impressions and 43 clicks. Visitors also experienced an increase, with the highest total being 92 visitors with a percentage of 80% new visitors and 20% returning visitors. There is also an increase in the SEO authority score. Moz's Domain Authority increased five points from 0 to 5. Meanwhile, Ahrefs's Domain Rating increased seven points from 0 to 7.

Abstract

Barbershop conditions in the city of Gresik are crowded with customers and cause queues to pile up. The services offered by the barbershop are not optimal, because when you want to cut, you have to convey it to the barber to do the queue. Therefore, the captain is prone to incorrectly calling the queue. The research produced a user experience application design for ordering haircut tables in Gresik City to reduce the number of queues. The research method uses Human Centered Design (HCD) with the stages of user context analysis, user needs analysis, solution design and solution design evaluation. In the solution design evaluation stage, usability tests and user experience questionnaire (UEQ) tests were conducted on 10 clients and 3 supervisors. Customer test results Effectiveness side 88% Efficiency side 0.162 Goals/second Satisfaction side 77 Good category on rating scale B. Administrator test results Effectiveness side 80% Efficiency side 0.136 goals/second Satisfaction side 80 Good category on rating scale B. Customer UEQ score for the attractiveness aspect received a very good category, the aspects of sharpness, efficiency, reliability and motivation received a good category, and the novelty side received an above average category. UEQ management scores for aspects of Attractiveness, Insight, Competence, Motivation, and Novelty get the Good category. The reliability aspect gets a class above average. These results indicate that the solution design is acceptable with a good usability score and a positive user experience with scores in each aspect above average.

Abstract

Mount Budheg climbing tourism is one of the popular tours in Tulungagung Regency and has also become an icon in this Regency. On this climbing tour of Mount Budheg, they still carry out their services manually, starting from buying tickets or paying for entrance tickets. This raises problems such as the large number of visitors queuing when they want to enter the Budheg Mountain climbing tour, visitor data collection which will take a long time, and also payments that will be squandered when visitors have very large nominal amounts of money. Based on the description of the problem, the technology design for climbing Mount Budheg was carried out by building an E-Ticketing Information and Service System (Online Booking) by utilizing the Midtrans Payment Gateway. This information system will be designed based on the System Development Life Cycle Method or can be called System Development Life Cycle with the waterfall model. This information system is used by two actors, namely prospective climbers and also the admin. Has functional needs with a total of 13 and 2 non-functional needs. All of these needs will be designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), namely use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. Next is the database design stage or what can be called the Physical Data Model (PDM) then the interface or system interface design stage. The results of this design will be implemented into programming code with the programming language PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, with the Laravel Framework and MySQL database. In the testing process of this research consists of BlackBox testing, Compatibility testing, and Usability testing. BlackBox testing has 13 test scenarios and gets 100% valid test results. Compatibility testing uses a tool called SortSite which has the result that the system can run smoothly in all browsers without losing its functionality. Usability testing has a usability percentage value of 87%, this percentage explains that this e-ticketing or online booking information system can be accepted by users with very decent criteria.

Abstract

The number of work programs in the Department of Information Systems (DSI) Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya is currently not in line with the support of an easy work program monitoring platform. Currently, the monitoring process is carried out using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel which have several weaknesses including data that is not yet fully integrated, an unattractive appearance and difficulty in customizing the platform. Departing from these problems, this research developed a mobile-based monitoring application for departmental work programs. In this study prototyping was used as a development method, this method is very suitable because it prioritizes user needs for the application being developed. The stages of the prototyping method include initial requirements, design, prototyping, customer evaluation, review and update, development, testing and maintenance. From the results of the implementation, testing was carried out using the black box method for all functional requirements of the application, the results of which have gone well according to the desired input and output. While on the user acceptance test questionnaire, the application that has been developed has a user acceptance rate of 93,5% which is entered in very good criteria.

Abstract

Social media users in Indonesia are increasing every year. The ease of use of social media provides many benefits to users, especially college students. Social media is used by students as a means of sharing and exchanging learning-related materials, seeking academic information, and interacting with friends and family. Students are still not fully aware of the factors that can trigger the negative impacts of using social media. This study aims to determine the influence of social media overload factors on student learning productivity using linear regression analysis. The research data collection technique used a questionnaire that obtained the data from as many as 100 respondents. Based on the results of the data analysis, only communication overload affects student learning productivity. Communication overload shows a very weak correlation to learning productivity. The test result was 18%, so 82% is explained by other variables outside the model used.
