Abstract

The rapid development of technology has made it easier for people to express their aspirations. These aspirations can be channeled through social media which is currently increasingly popular among the public. One of the social media that is often used by Indonesian citizens is Twitter. In February 2022, Community Activities Restrictions Enforcement Level 3 had become a trending topic on Twitter, which indicated that the increase in the level elicited various responses from the public. Community Activities Restrictions Enforcement (CARE) is one of the policies that the government has implemented in tackling Covid cases in Indonesia. Public opinion regarding this issue will generate various sentiments that can be analyzed. In this study, sentiment analysis will be carried out on public opinion regarding the increase in Community Activities Restrictions Enforcement to level 3 using the Multinomial Naive Bayes algorithm. The process consists of data pre-processing, word weighting with Raw Term Frequency, training and testing of the Naive Bayes model which later the accuracy results will be calculated using the K-Fold Cross Validation of 5 folds. This study produces an average accuracy of 0.78 with the addition of stop words and data normalization. This accuracy does not create much difference without using stopwords and data normalization with an accuracy of 0.79. The addition of stopwords and data normalization still does not produce a significant difference.

Abstract

Disability in Indonesia reaches 5% of the Indoensian population, including physically and visually impaired people. Due to the limited mobility experienced by people with disabilities, it is necessary to develop assistive devices that can helmp people with disabilities in their activities. Eleectric wheelchair has the advantages of being easy to control and maneuver, theri ability to go over slopes and ease to transport to realitively distant places. This study aims to develop a system that can be used to automatically detect room name plate on a smart wheelchair. In this system, the object of the room name plate captured by the camera will be the target of the automatic movement of the wheel chair. the captured camera object will be processed using the YOLOv5 and EasyOCR. this study can prove that the accuracy for the name plate detection is 60% and 100% accuracy for the character recognition. This allows the integration ability of the object detection and room character recognition systems in the autonomous system to trigger the PWM (Pulse WIth Modulation) value, which can be interpreted as if the system cannot recognize the character of the room name plate, resulting in the wheelchair continuing to move forward until it;s able to ding the desired room name.

Abstract

Bullying is the deliberate act of hurting physically, verbally, and psychologically someone who feels helpless. Bullying is an important issue that has been / is identified as a very serious social problem in the United States and many other parts of the world. Cyberbullying is the use of information and communication technologies for intentional/planned harassment and hostile activities, which are carried out repeatedly and structured in a potentially harmful manner. Types of cyberbullying include bullying someone through social media, harassment, sexting, fraud, impersonating, and sending malicious messages through chat rooms and instant messaging. Over the past few years, Bidirectional Encoder Representation from Transformers (BERT) has become a widely used and efficient representation model that achieves cutting-edge performance on sentence-level and token-level tasks, outperforming many specialized task architectures. The level of accuracy in the classification of cyberbullying using test data and validation data in Indonesian generated using the Bert algorithm is 0.81 which in percentage accuracy is 81%. BERT's algorithm can help identify inputs that lead to cyberbullying by providing outputs in the form of classes with predefined categories, namely neutral, abusive language or containing hate speech. The system also gives a percentage of the categories obtained through the program.

Abstract

The field of excellence of students is a skill that can be possessed by students after completing their college years, especially for students of Informatics Engineering at Brawijaya University. To uncover this potential for excellence, there is a learning system that focuses on students taking certain elective courses that are still close in terms of the study materials suitable for their interests and abilities. The goal is to make Informatics Engineering students have the desired graduate profile. The large number of choices for fields of excellence makes students confused about determining the appropriate field of excellence. To help students determine this field of excellence, the author chose to use the Backpropagation Classification Method and the Information Gain Feature Selection. Testing was conducted a total of 5 times, and then averaged. The testing used begins with K-Fold Cross Validation to test the stability of the dataset, by dividing the data into 5 random Folds and then finding the Fold with the best evaluation value. Subsequently, testing is carried out on the Learning Rate and Hidden Neuron parameters, with the final test being feature selection. The best testing parameters are a learning rate of 0.1, 20 hidden neurons, and 100% features without any features being removed. The results of the testing obtained are an average accuracy of 86.34%, precision of 87.95%, recall of 86.69%, and f-measure of 87.12%. The results obtained show that the Backpropagation Method can be used to classify the field of excellence of Informatics Engineering students, but the use of the Information Gain feature selection does not provide an improvement in the evaluation value obtained.

Abstract

Waiters in restaurants often experience problems where the waiter sometimes does not hear customer orders properly so that errors occur in ordering, or problems where the waiter also does not hear when a customer calls the waiters. Therefore, service providers must improve services so that businesses can run optimally. One solution that can be done is take advantage of technological systems that were created to help overcome existing problems, is the use of an ESP-NOW-based communication protocol system. Therefore, in this study, a waiter calling system was created to be implemented a restaurant by implementing the ESP-NOW communication protocol technology. From the results of this study it is known that the use of ESP32 and ESP8266 can be considered efficient in terms of power usage because the test results obtained power consumption data with an average of 0.1087W for ESP8266 and 0.6932W for ESP32. The cost of assembling a complete set of ESP-NOW-based terminal systems is very affordable, namely Rp. 671,980, when compared to using a smart tablet device with an estimated cost of Rp. 24,440,000. The use of ESP32 and ESP8266 paired with the ESP-Now communication protocol is suitable as a low-cost, low-energy alternative for restaurant information system devices because it has low latency. The prototype used in this study was sufficient for the requirements specified at the beginning of the study.

Abstract

Heart is a vital organ and is the last line of defense for life and is a part of human body that has a role as a center for circulating blood. The heart's job is to pump blood to all body parts, where there is a rhythmic pattern of heartbeats when the heart pumps blood to all parts of the body. In a normal adult heart, it has a heartbeat ranging from 60-100 beats per minute. Adults who have a heart rate of fewer than 60 beats or more than 100 beats per minute mean there is a disturbance of their heartbeat or arrhythmia. One of example of an arrhythmia is Premature Ventricular Contraction (PVC). PVC conditions are common in humans, but if occur continuously it can increase the risk of heart disease. PVC can be prevented by early detection of heart disease, where an examination will be carried out using an ECG machine. However, the costs required to carry out an examination using an ECG machine are quite expensive. Regular early measurements are needed PVC using QRS Complex and R Gradient. The results of the AD8232 ECG sensor acquisition test get an error value of 7.14% with 5 tests. The accuracy results using the Fuzzy K-Nearest Neighbor (FK-NN) classification get 90% of the 20 test data used. For system computation time, it managed to reach 286.06 milliseconds.

Abstract

Smartphones are devices that have advantages over other communication tools. Damage to Smartphones is natural and normal, as well as damage to iPhones, examples of damage ranging from fast battery drain, no image on the screen, camera not working etc. However, technicians face obstacles when diagnosing iPhone defects, which results in less than optimal technician performance. This expert system uses the Dempster-Shafer method. Inferences are made based on the symptoms of existing iPhone damage, and the frequency of each symptom is determined by the Smartphone technician. From the calculation of the visible density of damage that occurs on the iPhone, the system has 20 symptoms of damage and 14 types of damage. The purpose of this study is to help technicians determine the damage that occurs on the iPhone, which will select symptoms and give the results of this study an accuracy score of 90%.

Abstract

The increasingly widespread development of COVID-19 necessarily results in disadvantages for various parties, especially dentistry clinics that have direct contact with patients and are at high risk of exposure to COVID-19, so it is necessary to reduce direct contact and only take emergency measures to prevent infection. The Faculty of Dentistry of Brawijaya University is one of the study programs that study dentistry. During the period there was a period of professional studies, especially at RSGM Brawijaya University. The requirements for completing the professional study period require various medical process requirements for approximately 2 years, regarding to circular letter and only being able to take emergency case, this is a hindrance to students' professional activities. The solution based on the problem is Teledentistry to facilitate communication between patients and professional students online. The system is designed to be mobile-based and uses Firebase. This system development method uses a prototyping method that supports development according to user needs. At the analysis stage, 42 functional requirements and 5 non-functional requirements were obtained. The System Usability Scale test scored 84.1 in the user application and a score of 76.7 for the counselor and admin doctor application as a B or Good rating.

Abstract

Garbage is a waste product that is produced from the rest of human activities every day. The volume of waste generated by local residents and tourists in Batu City every day can reach 99 tons. In achieving the waste reduction target, the Environment Service invites the public to apply the 3R principles. Teratai Putih Waste Bank is a place for the people of Batu City to deposit waste that is still of value. However, data recording at the Teratai Putih waste bank in Batu City has several obstacles, for example difficulties in searching data, and it takes a lot of time to record customer data. The data recording was done manually using a book. The current business process is considered to be lacking in time efficiency, so a new business process is needed. This research develops Android-based software that can help perform data recapitulation related to waste bank management at the Teratai Putih Waste Bank. The SDLC used in developing software is SDLC Prototyping. In terms of effectiveness, managers get a success rate of 90% in carrying out their duties while customers get a success rate of 94%. Furthermore, on the aspect of efficiency, the results of obtaining efficiency time for managers can complete their tasks by 0.030 every second. Meanwhile, customers can complete their tasks by 0.055 per second. In addition, the proposed business process is 35.8% faster than the current business process.
