Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of the ethno-nationalist-based Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) model to increase the value of patriotism and discipline in children through meta-analysis. The inclusion criteria in this study are a) research data obtained from Google Scholar; ERIC, ProQuest, Wiley, DOAJ and Springer, b) research must be indexed by SINTA, Scopus or journal indexing portals managed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Technology equivalent to DOAJ, EBSCO and Index Copernicus, c) the topic must be relevant, d) research published in 2022-2024, e) research publications must have a value of (r), (t), or (F), f) research samples must be more than 25 children. The meta-analysis research uses the JASP application for data analysis. The results of the study concluded that there was a significant influence of the effectiveness of the Ethno-nationalist-Based Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning Model on the value of character of love for the homeland and discipline in children with a strong influence category (p< 0.001; rRE = 1.034). Furthermore, in this study, no publication bias was detected so that it can be scientifically accounted for. These findings show that the Effectiveness Model of Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning Based on Ethno-nationalism is effective in increasing the Character Values of Love for the Fatherland and Discipline in Children.

Abstract

School principals have a strategic role in introducing entrepreneurship to teachers. This research aims to discover the program, strategies, and supporting factors and obstacles for school principals in introducing entrepreneurship in kindergarten at the Kuta Alam District Activity Center (PKG) in Banda Aceh. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques of interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The research results showed that the program to introduce entrepreneurship had been prepared at the beginning of the semester, involving the principal, senior teachers, and supervisors. Still, they were not complete and not well-detailed. The principal's strategy for introducing entrepreneurship is to involve all school personnel. This activity is part of the implementation of P5 in the independent curriculum, such as implementing market day. This study contributes by providing insight into the importance of careful planning and structural support to strengthen the implementation of entrepreneurship programs in early childhood education. The implication is the need for policies that encourage ongoing training for teachers and adequate funding for the program's success to build an entrepreneurial culture from an early age in the educational environment.

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the fact that several USK students still cannot read the Quran and do not understand the correct Makhraj of letters and the laws of tajwid. Therefore. USK has a UP3AI (Islamic Religion Course Development Unit) program, a companion program development unit for Islamic religious courses aimed at forming a Quranic generation with noble character. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the UP3AI program in improving USK students' ability to read the Quran and its impact on moral formation. The research method uses a mixed approach (quantitative and qualitative). The results show that the program's effectiveness is not optimal due to constraints on time discipline, communication, and mentor abilities, and it is said to be effective if the learning process between mentors and students has gone well. Then there is the quality of teaching the Quran, both in the mosque and the Musalla; there is no stable teaching method, limited hours of teaching the Quran, the elimination of the teaching curriculum, the influence of television shows, and others that cause the success of this program not to be achieved. In addition, the impact on student morals is not significant.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of financial literacy education on children's economic decision-making. This type of research is quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. The inclusion criteria in this study are 1) data from national and international journals indexed by SINTA and Scopus, 2) research published in 2021-2024, 3) research must be relevant, 4) research data must report complete data to calculate the effect size value. Research data was obtained from 25 studies that have met the inclusion criteria—data analysis with the help of the JASP 0.8.5 application. The study's results concluded that the average effect size value was ( d = 0.994; z = 11.198; p< 0.001) in the high effect size category. These findings show that financial literacy education significantly influences children's decision-making.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran ayah dalam pengasuhan pasca partisipasi dalam program Sekolah Ayah dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 3 ayah peserta program beserta istri mereka. Analisis tematik menunjukkan perubahan pandangan dan pendekatan ayah terhadap pengasuhan. Sebelum program, peran ayah cenderung otoriter dan terbatas pada penyedia finansial, dengan keterlibatan emosional yang minim. Setelah program, ayah mulai mengadopsi pendekatan yang lebih responsif, menyadari pentingnya komunikasi, dan berkontribusi dalam perkembangan psikologis serta emosional anak. Ibu mencatat peningkatan keterlibatan ayah, termasuk partisipasi dalam kegiatan sehari-hari anak, berbagi tanggung jawab rumah tangga, dan pengambilan keputusan bersama, menciptakan dinamika keluarga yang lebih harmonis. Temuan ini menunjukkan program Sekolah Ayah efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan ayah. Penelitian lanjutan disarankan untuk membandingkan ayah peserta program dengan yang tidak, guna mengevaluasi perbedaan dampak pengasuhan terhadap anak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi awal anak usia 5-6 tahun dengan menggunakan media Zoo Math Pack. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 16 anak usia 5-6 tahun di BKB PAUD Bina Bangsa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi menggunakan lembar observasi dan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan numerasi awal anak usia 5-6 tahun setelah diberikan tindakan dengan media Zoo Math Pack. Pada Siklus 1, rata-rata capaian kemampuan numerasi awal anak sebesar 53%, yang termasuk dalam klasifikasi cukup, kemudian meningkat pada Siklus II menjadi 87,5%, yang termasuk dalam klasifikasi sangat baik. Implikasi dari temuan ini adalah bahwa media Zoo Math Pack terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi awal anak usia 5-6 tahun. Oleh karena itu, media ini dapat direkomendasikan sebagai media pembelajaran bagi guru dalam pengajaran numerasi di sekolah. Penggunaan media yang menarik seperti Zoo Math Pack diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan matematika siswa di Indonesia, yang pada akhirnya dapat berdampak positif pada peningkatan hasil PISA.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to find out the critical thinking and collaboration skills of the junior high students in catholic religious subjects. This is a quantitative approach with a descriptive method.The research population were the eighth students of junior high school in Palangkaraya, totaling 35 students. The research instrument used 8 questions for critical thinking skill and 8 questions for collaboration skill. The collected data analyzed using the descriptive analysis. The results of the analysis show that the critical thinking and collaboration of the students are in the middle criteria. Some reasons can be concluded such as teachers' lack of ability to integrate learning that leads to critical and collaborative thinking, monotonous learning activities and the lack of familiarity with religious learning being made into arguments and discussions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran pendidikan lingkungan dalam meningkatkan minat siswa sekolah dasar terhadap bidang pertanian. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur yang menganalisis informasi dari berbagai sumber ilmiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif dan berbasis pengalaman nyata, seperti bercocok tanam di sekolah dan kunjungan ke lahan pertanian, efektif meningkatkan ketertarikan siswa; keberhasilan program dipengaruhi oleh kualitas kurikulum, keterampilan guru, dan dukungan infrastruktur; serta terbatasnya fasilitas dan pelatihan bagi guru menjadi kendala utama. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kurikulum yang inklusif serta dukungan sumber daya untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pendidikan lingkungan berbasis pertanian.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the flipped classroom-based SAVI learning model on children's problem-solving skills. This research is a type of meta-analysis research. The eligibility criteria in this study are: a) the research must be published in 2022-2024; b) this research was obtained through the Google Scholar database; Mendeley; ScienceDirect; and Wiley; c) the research must be relevant; d) the research must have complete data to calculate the effect size value; and the sample size > 30 participants. The data in this meta-analysis is analyzed with the help of JASP and Microsoft Excel applications. The results of the analysis of 19 effect sizes concluded that the summary effect size value ( d = 1.077 ; z = 8.172 ; p < 0.001) of the effect size category was strong. These findings show that the application of the effectiveness model of the flipped classroom-based SAVI learning model has a positive influence on children's problem-solving skills

Abstract

Disleksia adalah kondisi yang memengaruhi kemampuan membaca dan menulis anak, yang menjadi lebih kompleks bagi anak di panti asuhan akibat keterbatasan fasilitas dan dukungan individu. Penelitian ini mengisi kesenjangan studi sebelumnya yang lebih banyak berfokus pada perspektif guru, orang tua, dan pengasuh dengan mengeksplorasi pengalaman langsung anak-anak dengan disleksia di panti asuhan. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), penelitian ini melibatkan enam partisipan berusia 7–12 tahun melalui wawancara mendalam. Hasilnya mengidentifikasi lima tema utama: tantangan belajar, strategi coping, hubungan sosial, dukungan lingkungan, serta aspirasi dan harapan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pembelajaran interaktif, dukungan sosial positif, dan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif untuk meningkatkan pengalaman belajar anak-anak dengan disleksia di panti asuhan. Temuan penelitian ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih inklusif dan menjadi landasan kebijakan pendidikan yang mendukung kebutuhan anak dengan disleksia di panti asuhan.
