Abstract

The unexpected outbreak of covid-19 caused education centers to halt their physical classes and rashly switch to online classes. This review paper has as its primary objective identifying related issues faced by different countries and comparing them to get a global overview, and debating whether the dissemination of Covid-19 has adversely affected the educational process in different countries the same way or not. Internet connection, lack of technological devices, deficiency in ICT competencies, and insufficient power supply are reported by most African, South American, and Asian countries as their significant issues. Mental health issues, concerns for future jobs, and discrimination among students are reported as significant issues in North America. Lack of teacher/student training, inaccessibility to stable internet connections, and digital devices are the main problems for European countries. The other reason behind this review is to find out the most significant factors in computing an effective online learning experience. In this sense, four factors are acknowledged in this paper as influential factors in online learning classes. This review found out that in undeveloped countries success of online education is highly correlated with the financial status of countries, whereas, in developed countries, its success has other areas of concern among people.

Autonomous learning was reported to be very helpful in distance learning because it helped the students to understand the lesson without direct guidance from the teacher and decided to learn with their learning styles which allow them to maximize learning. Yet, students’ well-being is essential to reveal as it can be one of the indicators which can be taken into account on measuring the workload of students enrolling in the vocational state-owned institution. Therefore, this study is eager to reveal the relation between learner autonomy and well-being. The instrument which will be occupied in this study is a survey which derived from the various well-established scales in the literature, and then the back-translation method was used to produce a version in Bahasa Indonesia. All students of the polytechnic will be asked to participate in this study. Further results of this study will be processed with SPSS 25 version and AMOSS supported by additional sources from documents in the polytechnic. Abstract

Human Resources (HR) Education is the potential that is an asset and material / non-financial in the school organization, which can be realized into real potential (real) physically and non-physically in realizing the existence of the organization / school. Human Resources consists of two dimensions, namely the qualitative dimension and the quantitative dimension. The qualitative dimension includes various potentials contained in every human being, including thoughts (ideas), knowledge, attitudes, and skills that influence the capacity of human ability to carry out productive work. Meanwhile, the quantitative dimension consists of the achievements of students, the quality of educational institutions and the number of teachers and education personnel in the amount of learning time. If spending to improve the quality of human resources (Human Resources) is increased, the productivity value of human resources (Human Resources) will produce a positive rate of return. Human resources are very important for the progress of all educational institutions. Moreover, Islamic educational institutions are institutions that are considered perfect by the community as institutions that make students have competence in the fields of science and religion. Strengthening all aspects of HR (Human Resources) becomes absolutely necessary in Islamic religious education institutions, competent HR (Human Resources) will bring changes in the institution to the expected goodness and progress.

Abstract

There are a number of reasons that may contribute to the social difficulties of academically gifted children. This impacts the child's capacity to communicate and interact with his environment's people. The authoritarian parenting style of intellectually capable parents may have a negative effect on their children if these parents raise their children. This study focuses on the coping strategies used by extraordinarily brilliant children raised by parents with authoritarian parenting styles. This analysis employs a qualitative method, particularly a case study-based strategy. The majority of the information was gathered via interviews, observations, and document analysis. This study demonstrates that the patterns and complexities of an individual's personal adjustment may be utilized to estimate the degree to which intellectually gifted children adapt to their settings. Intellectually gifted children face problems that are not shared by other children when it comes to adjusting to their environment; yet, these obstacles may be found in each of these several kinds of adaptation. These elements may be comprehended in terms of the three major issues examined in this study. The degree to which a child with exceptional intelligence adapts to his or her surroundings may be influenced by three factors: the child's personality, the child's immediate environment, and the parents' degree of authoritarianism. Academically gifted children may have difficulty adjusting in a number of ways, including the capacity to moderate their emotions, define realistic goals for themselves, and improve on their existing skills.
